Our front yard tree was split from the Aug 2026 storm. A team of 4 guys came out - 20 min earlier than scheduled. They brought with them a bucket truck, a mulcher truck and equipment to remove the stump. They took down our tree, raked all the loose leaves, then used a leaf blower to clear the sidewalk and my driveway. They were done within the hour. They did a tremendous job. Out of the 8 places I called, they were the most reasonable. This was after a big storm when some places try to overcharge for tree removal. They are super busy so it will take a few tries to reach out to them, but they are worth the extra effort. HIGHLY Recommend!!! read more

Duck's Tree & Stump Service - Tree Services Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

Were rude and kept bailing. Had to be called a few times as well. Replied at late hours.

The team at Duck's go above and beyond to make sure that the job is done the way that you want it. I highly recommend them. I have used a few companies over the years and many are good but the way that Ducks leaves the job site when done is the best I've had. I have used them at multiple properties now, and have never had any issues with any job. 10 stars if possible and well deserved. read more

I have had Ducks perform some trimming and invited them back to take a tree down. First let me say they respond to texts quickly. Secondly my first call to them was done quickly because we needed to get a well drilling truck in place a Ducks came out quickly and for a great price. I had him give me a price on a tree next to my home at that time. A couple months later I texted him and asked to get it done. No hurry just get us on the schedule. 1 week later that tree is down. The crew knows there job. They left my yard in tip too shape and were all very friendly. I will hire again in a heartbeat. Nice to see a company that is customer service first. read more

Carlos and team did a great job on our property, clearing out more than a dozen overgrown trees and shrubs and getting the lot looking great again. Hard workers in terrible weather and they cleaned up and took all of the branches and brush away with their chipper. Highly recommend for tree and shrub trimming and removal. read more

Cannot recommend Ducks enough. Called them on Thursday for a quote to remove a wind damaged tree in a tricky spot for removal. Came for the estimate on Friday and told us he would come Monday or Tuesday. On Saturday morning he sent a text asking if we would be open to him getting it done Saturday morning, we agreed. Fantastic fair pricing and quality of service! read more

Carlos and his crew came out, trimmed and pruned all the trees which needed it. They did a gr8 job and did it quickly , cleaned up and threw all the branches into his chipper and away he went. Clean, neat, respectful and job was a hell of a lot cheaper than anyone else's estimate. Ducks is ur go to for trees, bushes, and yard business. Recommend !!! read more

Carlos and the whole crew are awesome! We had our own five (huge) trees, and three neighbor's trees trimmed. Our trees had several really big branches removed, several medium size branches removed, and then general trimming up of the trees. From our neighbor's trees we had one large, one medium, and 2-3 smaller branches removed that overhung our yard. The crew work like a well oiled machine. They cleaned up everything. They moved the swing set to get at the neighbor's tree and then moved it back into place. The whole crew were personable. A few of the guys had really good senses of humor making jokes about how hard they were working and such. They even rehung our tire swing! We asked if they'd rehang the swing if we got the rope. Go to an arborist supplier to get the right kind of rope!! There's a store near O'hare that has the right rope for tire swings and such. It's worth the drive and expense to do it right. Carlos' bid came in a few hundred higher than the other company we were considering. But these guys were the better choice. Carlos is honest and straight forward. We have a tree that has a natural crease that makes a path for rain to drain down. That area gives the impression that the tree may be unhealthy or weak. It's not. We had an arborist out to asses our trees when we bought the property. They told us that the tree is fine and healthy (but our neighbor's tree was not). We always ask about that tree when having tree work done. Scammers or those who don't know their business tell us the tree needs to come down. The honest guys who know their stuff tell us exactly what the arborist said, that the tree is fine and the moisture is from a natural drainage path along the trunk. Carlos passed the test with flying colors. Duck tree trimming is our new go-to company for all things tree related! read more

Quick quote response time, incredibly reasonable pricing, and they did the most AMAZING job on our yard! Had 7+ tree's trimmed, and around 12-13 smaller stumps removed out. They didn't damage our grass at all with the stump grinder, and removed all wood chips. Tree's look amazing. Thank you so much @Duck's! Highly recommended, will absolutely be using them again. read more

A large tree fell in our backyard. After calling several companies for tree removal, Ducks Tree & Stump Service not only responded within the hour but had the best quote. They were professional, courteous, and completed the task in a timely manner. They did a nice job in leaving the area free of debris. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. read more

Tree Ninjas! Very competitive price and great service, they cleaned up good and left me some firewood. They made short work of a big dead ash tree that hung over my neighbors fence and my house. My neighbor also had them cut down his dead ash tree read more

Same as another reviewer that their prices were far less (in some cases half) of what other companies quoted. They are licensed and bonded and carry insurance as well. Quoted on a Wednesday for one tree and two days later the had the tree down, made into mulch and stump grinned within the hour. They were careful but quick and falling the tree and cleaned up any traces of a mess before leaving. They also left me with the wood chips as I requested and dropped them in my driveway carefully. Would recommend Carlos and his crew to anyone that asked for tree removal services! read more

Quick response to estimate. Cheapest estimate in the area . They guys showed up and were exceptionally fast and cleaned up afterwards.

Great company! Very reasonable. Crew showed up on time and got started right away. Got rid of a nasty dirty pear tree in a small yard. God love that crew because they had to deal with not just half rotted stanky pears but lots of wasps but also a very "pleasant" (insert sarcasm) next door neighbor yelling racial slurs about their citizenship. The crew maintained their professionalism all the way through and kept on going while I dealt with my neighbor. I have recommended them to my friends and my friendly neighbors. read more

Great tree service! Removed two big trees from my new home over the summer in Plainfield. The guys were quick and did great clean up. I searched many different local companies and Duck's offered the best price overall. They were so good that they were able to remove a tree for a neighbor across the street as well after finishing my service. read more

Carlos was prompt and professional with his original estimate. His estimate was very reasonable and he was able to complete the work within a week of the estimate. Carlos and 2 crew members made pretty quick work of 3 large trees and stumps. They were efficient, clearly knew what they were doing, and cleaned up before leaving. I'll definitely call Carlos the next time I need trees trimmed or removed. Highly recommended. read more

I had very large part of my tree fall into my neighbors yard and another part was stuck in a nearby tree. I called 4 different tree service companies to come give me a quote. Only two responded and Duck's price was by far the most reasonable. He and his crew showed up first thing the following business day. They made quick and efficient work of my tree situation, cleaned the area up and kept his quoted price. I will use them again for my tree service and highly recommend you give them a call. read more

I had called to see about a tree removal since I had two trees that were all dried up. So I requested a quote. I got a call back about 15 mins later and he physically showed up same day and gave me a quote. His prices were the BEST I had recv'd!!!!! We went ahead and approved for them to come and they came and did the job with stump removal TWO days later. They showed up 1-2 hours ahead of the scheduled time. And left everything CLEAN! The job of removing 2 grown trees was done in 2 hours!!!! I was highly impressed with their quality of work and efficiency! I would recommend everyone from new Lenox to Chicago and beyond to give them a call!!! Will definitely be using them again. They offer more than tree removal. So check them out. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

I don't know where to start, Carlos and his crew do AMAZING work at a VERY reasonable price. I have already referred his company to several friends and family members. I did quote this job out to several competitive companies who quoted double, some triple! They went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier. I work full time and it's hard to make personal calls but Carlos replied to my texts in a timely fashion. I will be using his company for years and years to come. I HIGHLY recommend him. He removed several stumps, removed some flowering bushes and trimmed some way over grown elms as well as shaped a bush and took some extra feet of a Spruce. We got home last night and we were so proud of the work, we were speechless. Thank you Carlos and your crew! read more

I called Duck's Tree and Stump Service on 6/29/16 to verify if they did tree/shrub pruning and to see if they worked in the Geneva area as my mother needed some help. The same day that I called they came out and provided a very competitive bid compared to some of the other companies. They stated they would do the trimming, clean up and haul all of the debris away so my mother decided to go with Duck's. The night before they were to do the job they called my mother to verify that she would be home. Two people showed up the next day at 8 am and completed the job in a prompt & professional manner and my mother was very pleased with their service and will definitely call Duck's again in the future for other landscaping needs. Thank you!!! read more

This guy is amazing. Best tree guy around. He was fast and did an amazing job at a very fair price. Highly recommend for any tree issue. You can't go wrong with ducks tree service! read more

Duck's did a good job of grinding down a tree stump.

I found this co on Yelp, sent them photos and a description and they were able to give me a quote over email. I was nervous Bc their cost was less than half what others wanted to charge, 225 vs others at 600, for a large crabapple tree and a tree leaning into a fence, both stumps removed as well. So glad I went with them! Showed up on time, no surprise costs, friendly workers, and cleaned up beautifully. They were careful around my neighbors fences, and did such a great job. I'd def hire again! read more

Duck's is the only number you need to call for tree removal. Carlos is very fair on his pricing and the work was completely perfectly. His crew was able to get out quickly and leave my yard as if 2 large pine trees were never there. Very pleased with his services, would certainly recommend! read more

I called Ducks Tree & Stump Service based upon the previous reviews to remove dead trees around our commercial property. Carlos responded quickly to my call, sent a very reasonable quote within a few hours and scheduled the work to be done within a few days! The men arrived early in the morning on the scheduled day and made fast work of cutting down all the trees, some not so easy to get to. They were careful to block off any areas necessary for the safety of our employees and did a wonderful job cleaning up the site. I will definitely call Ducks again and would highly recommend Carlos and his men at Ducks Tree Service for any job you may have. read more
