Roberto and his son are great. They have trimmed five large trees on our property and did fall cleanup for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them. read more

Had a mature, black walnut tree cut down and they did it in about two hours, which seemed very short for me, but maybe that's why one of the giant upper limbs fell on my roof and patio and scratched up my siding, windows, and almost busted through my 6 foot windows. When I explained my concerns after the service, I was basically told that everything was fine and is as it was and I felt like they thought I was an idiot lol, I mean, I can see that the whole gutter was bent where the tree fell on it... I can see all the scratches on the glass and siding and also speak for themselves... This was not a planned fall. And they just told me that that's how the gutter works... and they see no damage.... lol come on guys... my whole sunroom windows could have shattered due to the fall and it also barely missed my utility lines running to the house. Need to get the roof checked to make sure that no sharp branches poked through any of the shingles. I mean these guys looked me right in the eyes and said that there was no damage and I just laughed and said all good and couldn't wait for them to leave. Again the photos speak for themselves, if that's not a tree hitting a house and causing damage... then I don't know what is... If they would have simply owned up to their mistake, I would not be writing this review. This review is due to being told there was no damage on my house, to my face, like I don't have eyes. Be a professional.... Come on now... The person who subcontracted these guys out to me has already agreed to pay me for the damages. Oh! lol and for whatever reason when they were removing huge chunks of the stumps out from the patio area, they decided to just rip right through my green bush there instead of going around it, which I thought was unnecessary and kind of a jerk move read more

This is my second time using Herrera Tree Services - they continue to do phenomenal work! Two years ago, I used them to remove two large trees, and this year, I had them trim 4 enormous trees in my backyard. They are so skilled - and the price was very fair. Look no further - these are your guys!! You will not be disappointed! read more

Roberto from Herrera's and his team are fantastic. I used him last year to remove a tree hit by a storm. I called him again last week for another job to remove tree roots. They did great again for a reasonable price. Highly recommend. read more

We had a 20yr old willow tree in the backyard that had two of the six large branches crash down after a storm. Given the imbalance, we were forced to have the entire tree removed, which for a willow tree, is a huge undertaking. We posted online for suggestions and Herrera was a common recommendation. Our price was fair and the work was done in a timely and efficient manner. These guys worked their tails off to fully extract and remove every piece of the tree. Thanks for a job well done, we highly recommend Herrera's! read more

Called Roberto, and he was in the area so stopped by within the hour to provide a very fair estimate. Even though he was very busy, he squeezed in my job and completed the very next morning. Tree down, stump ground and area raked and cleaned. Thank you. read more

Herrera's was great! I had two big trees between houses taken down and they did a wonderful job. They used a bucket truck that made the work easier and safer. They got both trees down, the stumps ground out and everything cleaned up in 4 hours as promised. They used a remote controlled grinder on the stumps and roots that was amazing. The price was the most reasonable of the quotes that I obtained. They cleaned everything up and raked everything smooth and came back later in the day to double check the work. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Hired Herrera to trim 2 large trees and remove some large limbs. Roberto came out to quote job, due to summer backlog he said it would be a 3 week wait. 3 weeks later he called to say the crew would come at 8am. The crew arrived on time. The trimmers climbed to the ends of every limb to fully trim. The large limbs were carefully dropped to avoid damage to the lawn and house. And everything was raked and swept clean. Highly recommended read more

Fast, friendly and efficient. They did such an awesome job taking down eight trees in my elderly parents' backyard. They came out quickly, did a great job removing the trees and didn't leave a mess. We'll definitely be calling them back if we need another tree taken down. read more

Herrera's Tree service did an outstanding job, removing three trees from our yard, trimming 6 others and trimming bushes along the house. Roberto said he would be at the house at a certain time for an estimate and was there on time. He listened to what I was looking for, made a couple of suggestions and presented an estimate to me on the spot. He said when his team would be available for the job and I signed the contract. His team showed up on time as scheduled. The workers were VERY efficient, very careful not to damage anything and did a great job of cleaning up all of the trees and branches they had cut. The trees and bushes had not been cut or even trimmed at this house in years and the job Roberto's team did really made the property look good! Roberto's team FAR EXCEEDED my expectations and I would highly recommend his service. read more

I would not recommend Johns service. He is not reliable. He is not a man of his word. He gave a bid and halfway thru the job changed his mind and left behind a big mess. read more

Amazing work! Affordable pricing. These guys were professional, friendly, and efficient. Had 2 decent sized pine trees and one large maple tree taken care. Will recommend. (All workers had masks on) - read more

WOW!! Roberto (owner) came out and gave us a quote to remove 20 year old Maple and Spruce against house. Also, trimmed Birch and Maple in back yard. Beat other two other quotes and best of all they came out today and completed the job. Absolutely incredible !! Great crew that was extremely skilled in removal and trimming. Roberto stayed on site to oversee and help and it just an incredible job, beyond my expectations!!! I don't write many reviews but they truly earned it !!! read more

I rarely write reviews but I felt seriously compelled to give these guys a big thumb's up!!! They worked incredibly hard, gave me a really good price--beating my other quotes, did an amazing job and offered to come back if I wasn't pleased. I will certainly have them come back if I ever need a tree service again. Roberto, the owner, is super nice and stayed on site the whole time to overlook the job. read more

Wow, this man is a professional! They cut down a huge gnarly tree and didn't even have to move the line. We got 7 quotes and Roberto gave us a GREAT price. He was professional, on time and got the job done! Would definitely recommend! read more

Best tree removal service in Aurora Illinois. I guarantee you will not find a better tree service company than Herrerra's Tree Service. They did a great job cutting a tree down for me. The owner quoted me a price that was far lower than other quotes I had received. They offered professional service at a competitive price. Call them for your tree service needs. read more

Showed up in time, did excellent work removing a tall pine tree and cleaning the yard afterwards. Both Carlos and Matilde have a pleasant personality and easy to work with. Highly recommended to anyone needing yard work. read more

I used Roberto's service about 15 years ago when he was working for someone else and I noticed he was very good at his work. Over the years I referred him to my coworkers and friends and they were all happy with his services and affordable price. Today he came back with his 4 men crew to do fall trimming for me. Two of them were very skillful and they went to each limb to cut off the dead branches and shaped the trees while the other 2 crew members did the cleanup on the ground. Roberto stayed behind and blew away the leaves fell on my deck and made sure everything is in order. The neighbors came out and asked him to do some small jobs for them and Roberto was able to accommodated with reasonable time. I am glad to see his business booming and he is able to provide job opportunities to others. Do yourself a favor and call Roberto to get a free estimate if you need tree trimming and removal. It is always good idea to get multiple estimates before you decide. read more

Wow ! Absolutely a pleasure to work with ! We had 2 very large trees cut down and 1 large tree trimmed. One of the trees cut down was absolutely enormous ! It was in between our house and the house next door. We also have aluminum siding which can be vulnerable. The job was handled very professionally and quickly- it wasn't a small job. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up all the debris and brush. Perfect. On time and the job was started with the original date quoted. Highly recommend- in fact 2 of our neighbors contracted with them after seeing the work being done on our yard. read more

We had an urgent need to remove 2 large trees, 3 small trees and several bushes as soon as possible. Herrera gave us a very reasonable price and thought they could to the work later in the week. I came home from work to find everything removed the same day! I would certainly do business with Herrera again! read more

I decided to get a quote from them based on a couple of great yelp reviews. I was very happy with the price they quoted for removing two large trees in the back and some bushes upfront. I explained that we needed the work done as soon as possible and he said they would be able to come back within a week. Much to our surprise everything was done by the time we got home the same day! They did a great job removing everything and did stump removal as well. I would highly recommend them! read more

We had Herrera's out to trim several trees on our property, including one that had two large branches that were over our home. They did a great job and were very professional! We were very happy with the tree climbers, their attention to detail and safety and their care of the property. They were professional in asking clarifying questions before taking certain branches off & explained why they felt it should or should not be taken down. We also had them put in mulch for us and they did a great job edging, used good quality mulch and took care to clean up any mess made in the yard/on our patio. We felt the cost was reasonable and overall, would both recommend and use them again for future projects! read more

We just bought a new home which had not been lived in for a while, and to say that the bushes and trees were a bit overgrown is an understatement. Roberto came out and together we reviewed the property. Roberto was very knowledgeable about all the trees and bushes, and together we came up with a game plan. He gave us a quote, working with us on the pricing, and then fit us into his schedule within days. They did an amazing job! This was a big job, and his crew finished the job within a couple of hours. I can't say enough about how great a job Roberto and his crew did. I highly recommend hiring him, we will be using him again. read more

My husband had taken on the task of removing 3 large bushes from the front of the house, but the 25 year old stumps proved to be more difficult to remove than expected. We had talked through options to try to take care of it ourselves but decided to get a quote as well so we could see which would be the most cost effective route. Our realtor recommended Herrera's and so I gave them a call. I anticipated only getting a quote, but he arrived within a half hour of me calling and the price was too reasonable to pass up. As a bonus, he was able to do it right away. Within an hour of calling, our three ugly stumps were gone and the area is ready for some spring planting. I am beyond thrilled with the prompt, professional service received and will definitely be recommending them to friends who may be in search for a tree service. read more
