I…read morealready had x-rays done by my dentist, My dentist sent Nelson Endodontics a copy of my x-rays but they said they wasn't good enough and then charged me 160.00. Then Dr Nelson called himself numbing my gum, he put the tropical gel on my gum for 2 seconds and then jabbing a needle in my gum and I could feel all that, He stuck the needle in my mouth 4 places before the tropical gel started to work, after that he drilled a hole through my bridge for the root canal. after i got home and the numbness wore off, come to find out by bite was off, so i had to go back for adjusted, Dr Nelson never came in to look at it or adjust it, His helper did it,.In the meantime my jaws were still swollen after 2 weeks. So i went home after the first bite adjustment, the swelling went down and my bite was still off, so I had to go back again. This Dr never came to look at it, he sent his helper again and she adjusted it again, After the last adjusted ,they bridge had broken, and I called and told DR Nelson about it,and He said there was no way the bridge could be broken, So i went there a 3rd time and he said yes its broken and tried to put the blame on cheap material and kept denying it wasn't their fault. My bridge was good until i went to Nelson Endodontics So it was your fault ..I paid 764.80 and my insurance paid you all 903.00 for a bridge that you all destroyed. Nelson Endodontics is the worst place i ever been and they are out for your money, Dr Nelson never came and looked at the bridge the two times I went there for an adjustment. DO NOT GO HERE. I…read morehad been established at this dentist for a few years and other than extremely long wait times I had no complaints. The staff wasn't overly friendly but they were just fine. Then, at 6 month cleaning I get told I have stage 3b periodontal disease and I will need dentures in the next year if I don't buy this $1200 deep cleaning. The image on the wall of a person with this stage of gum disease has missing teeth, visible decay etc. This is shocking and embarrassing news considering I am 29 with all of my teeth, no cavities, and no bleeding gums. I told them wow this is shocking considering I floss daily, brush 2x daily with an electric toothbrush, water pick, mouthwash, tongue scrape, etc. The hygienist laughed and said "wow you do more than I do". So I asked for further recommendation because the $1200 cleaning every THREE MONTHS for the rest of my life wasn't going to work out for me for obvious reasons. She said I was pretty much screwed and that was the only option. I continued to ask questions about how this could have happened and what I could do at home to help and they just told me sometimes people just get gum disease. They even made me pay for "genetic testing" that they never once followed up with me for until I called the office but I HAD to have it done? Lo and behold I do the cleaning (fear mongering me into getting it done) and it takes about 20 minutes (they said up to an hour for bad cases which is apparently me considering I was told I needed dentures immediately). I go to follow up and they say I need another one??? Absolutely not, my gums dont even bleed. The nail in the coffin for me was when I went for the very last time for a routine cleaning as I declined the buy ups they wanted to add after the fear mongering. I sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes. 50 past my appointment time! Mind you when I left they closed 5 minutes later? So was I just going to be asked to leave anyways because they were closed and hadn't even started? During that time no one else was in the waiting room and no one else came and went so they couldn't have been that busy. No one once checked on me and apologized or updated me on the delay. I finally went up to the front desk and told them I would be leaving considering I had been sitting here almost an hour and they just stared at me blankly. They never called to reschedule my appointment or apologize. It's like I was never there and it never even happened. What a waste of my time. I have waited 6 months to write this review because I waited and bought different dental insurance and just established at another place. Here they were so kind, went through every single xray, picture, and exam of my teeth in detail and answered all of my questions. Shocking because here they say I have no evidence of gum disease AT ALL! And I would only require basic cleanings every 6 months and my "teeth would be in it for the long haul and I should not need dentures" He said my teeth and gums look really good! I became tearful at this new dentist because of how stressed I was by what the other place told me and they were appalled that I ever even got the deep $1200 cleaning because he saw no evidence of why I would need it let alone I was told I had advanced perio disease. In the end, this place has horrible time management and will continuously try and uncharge you for something every time and scare you into thinking if you don't pay them immediately there will be severe life altering consequences. Go ahead and google the umbrella company, Smile Generation, and you will understand why this place has such bad reviews.

The first visit and the second visit was horrible…read more They were about to pull all my top teeth because during the first visit, they said they could make me dentures and I would have them the same day after they were about to start pulling my teeth, they mentioned that it would be months before I could get dentures that they would have to let my gums heal before they could get me top dentures on top of that they already numbed me and had laughing gas on for a while, then decided to bring me consent paperwork to sign and was aggravated when I wanted to make a phone call to get an opinion on how they were doing things I could tell you a few more situations, but my main concern is to save the next person from this type of treatment

The insurance company tells them what the price should be. So they ramp the price way up there, in this case over $1,600 for the procedure. So now the insurance company can say..ok we paid our portion now the rest is on the patient. But that amount left is so high its like the patient is paying for what the proceedure should really cost as if they had no insurance. Never heard of such a thing, the dental office doesn't determine what they charge for work, the insurance company does. Gotta hand it to them, very slick.
