My 18 year old college student recently called me from her dorm literally crying in pain saying her jaw hurt. We got in with our dentist same day and were referred to Endodontic Associates as it appeared a nerve died in a tooth that had a cavity filled a few years back. They got us in within 25 minutes, diagnosed her, and to my great surprise offered to do the root canal the same day. My daughter came out of the procedure saying that it went smoothly and she had no pain or discomfort throughout. She reiterated how friendly, caring and nice Dr. Sparrow and his staff were. He explained everything and even drew a diagram to show my daughter exactly what to expect prior to getting started. She woke this morning to no pain and was back to her typical self. Thank you for getting my girl out of pain so quickly. Every single person I've encountered at this office was friendly, knowledgeable, diligent, courteous, and helpful. From reception, billing, assistants, nurses and doctors...amazing every step! We are so grateful:)

Here are her words: "Dr. Ronald wright was an endodontist in Nashville,TN that I had never met and after walking into his office for a routine procedure, he just started verbally and physically attacking me and he was clearly very intoxicated. The girl brought me in and I was already reclined in the chair and was having what was I was told was "laughing gas" when he came in the room. I thought he was going to introduce himself and talk to me about the procedure. He didn't. He did not initially speak to me or consult me in any way. I have had gas many times in the past though, and I knew that the only "gas" I was receiving through that tube was Oxygen. I was not getting any gas at all and I tried to tell him that but he refused to listen or consult me about ANYTHING regarding the procedure. He just very aggressively grabbed my face, pulled my lip up and forcefully plunged this giant needle into my upper gum with what was supposed to be Lidocaine. I couldn't understand what was happening, he was grabbing my face really hard and was being really unnecessarily aggressive, hateful and angry towards me from the beginning and seemed like he was deliberately hurting me so I asked him to stop on multiple occasions. He refused to stop, ignored my pleas and just started forcefully shouting at me (after I had asked him to stop at least twice) that I had "better not move or else he will JAB me again." The first time he stuck the needle in, the excruciating pain just kept getting worse and worse. I was wincing in pain and he could easily tell that what he was doing was hurting me really bad. As he pulled the needle out I tried to ask him to stop again, at which point he grabbed my face and jabbed the needle really forcefully right into the roof of my mouth then suddenly pulled it out and then plunged it in again. The way he kept grabbing my face, it felt like he was trying to strangle me. The pain in my eye, right cheek face and mouth was so bad it literally felt like my face was on fire and that my eye was going to explode. Finally, I involuntarily let out a little yell saying "Ahhhhh!" He immediately withdrew the needle and sat it down. He then forcibly grabbed me by the shoulder and started screaming in my face telling me what a little "pussy" I was, saying "HOW DARE I YELL IN HIS OFFICE!" He said that I was "lying, not really in pain and that I had gotten plenty of gas." I was just terrified! He said if I didn't change into my "big girl panties soon, that he could change them for me!" His eyes were all red and bloodshot and he was screaming at me with extreme rage and anger that certainly did not merit the mere situation of me telling him that I couldn't handle that kind of pain. I have never seen anyone scream at anyone so angrily or so aggressively in my whole life. He got right in my face, continued screaming and shouting at me, was even spitting on me at one point, then abruptly picked up a bunch of equipment, tossed it across the room and then left as it made a loud clanking noise. Also anyone who has had lidocaine injections in the past knows that it starts going numb after about 3-5 seconds and you no longer have to worry about the pain. That was not the case here at all. NONE OF THE TISSUES ANYWHERE IN MY FACE EVER WENT NUMB! I suspect whatever was in that syringe was either saline or maybe water, but I know 100 percent certainty, it was definitely NOT LIDOCAINE. I have had severe pain in my gums, mouth, teeth, cheek and face ever since what this horrible man did to me. His wife/office manager called me up about 10 minutes after we left badgering and harassing me claiming that "he had never acted that way before and that I WAS the one out of line by involuntarily letting out that little yell insinuating that it was my "fault" when he is the one who refused to consult me, was aggressively hurting me really bad from the beginning and wouldn't stop even though I begged him to. He doesn't have the right to continue doing things to hurt people even though someone asks him to stop! I have never seen anyone in that kind of rage fit IN PERSON in my life, screaming and spitting with his eyes enlarged and all red and bloodshot. He never did the procedure and I was forced to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket (not including the crown) getting it done somewhere else. I did nothing to even provoke this man and had absolutely no control whatsoever over the unwanted force and deliberate trauma he was exerting over my body. I even asked him to stop many times and he just ignored me. Last week, we filed a lawsuit against Ronald S. Wright, DDS. No one that acts this way should be allowed to continue to touch anyone else EVER, let alone practice."

Our experience with Dr. Crump at M.City Endodontics was like Carol's (who also posted a review) -…read morereally wonderful. He is very honest, nice, and very skilled. My wife was in severe pain and went to her regular dentist who said she needed a Root Canal, and recommended Dr. Crump. We got an appointment with Dr. Crump and his assistant took a 3-D Xray. My wife was in the chair waiting for the Root Canal BUT Dr. Crump reviewed the x-ray and noticed an almost invisible crack in the tooth - he was only able to see it because of the 3-D Xray, because her main dentist had done a regular Xray and didn't see it. Dr. Crump told us that a Root Canal wouldn't solve her problem and that she needed the tooth extracted. --- Think about that - he could have easily gone ahead and done the Root Canal and we would have paid for it, BUT he is honest and did what was best for my wife - he put her first. Also, he is very skilled and professional to notice the crack - you had to look close to see it. We were just charged for the cost of the 3-D Xray and a consultation, so he lost a lot of money - he had already blocked out that time slot for my wife. Even so, he was very polite about it and even gave my wife a prescription for pain medication. Also, his staff was VERY nice, helpful and friendly. I think he's Top 5% and highly recommend him.

GUESS WHAT?? ( I say this as someone who has witnessed unethical dentists multiple times in my life...) he told me I did NOT NEED a root canal! DESPITE both my SELF and the REFERRiNG DENTIST being CONVINCED I DID! So, instead of destroying a root and paying $1,500 it only cost me $177 and 3 meds at the pharmacy.
