Worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They promised minimum four movers and a 28 foot…read moretrailer which I said was too small to begin with. They showed up with two guys and a driver, with a 20 foot trailer. No experience in stacking to utilize the space properly. This caused multiple wasted trips. But they don't care, they're paid by the hour. Watch out for additional surprise charges and fees, such as, they want to charge you extra for using their moving blankets, extra charge for shrinkwrapping, extra charge for fuel surcharge, they start their time when they leave their warehouse. Somehow it took them an hour extra to drive from Paris to Tigertown, less than 20 miles. Insurance on your items is an extra $90 per item. If you are in Paris I recommend using Whiz moving. Those guys will run circles around this company. I would've used them again, but they were booked up and this move was on short notice.

All documentation was provided on time, and the movers arrived as scheduled. I had my items moved from Los Angeles, CA to Dallas, Texas in a POD. Unfortunately, my TV was damaged during the move (unclear if it was from the POD, but I doubt that since the TV was against the king size mattress). One of the movers later stated that he had noticed damage to the TV box when he unloaded the tv from POD but did not bring it to my attention at the time, which was very disappointing. However, the owner Joey, took the situation seriously and handled it with genuine empathy and accountability. I was extremely frustrated from the move (it's really a lot to handle) and Joey was kind and patient as he listed to me explain what happened. He suspended the team member involved, made it clear that he wanted to put the customer first, and worked with me to make things right. After I provided the original receipt for my TV, he sent me a check for its full original purchase price and did not waste time to go through insurance. I didn't buy additional insurance, so at most if Joey had went through insurance, I would have received $40/$50 back for my tv at $0.60/lb. He said he wanted to make sure we reached an agreement that felt fair. I truly appreciate Joey's customer first mindset. Although the damage was frustrating, I greatly appreciated how Joey responded. He's been in business for 25 years and stated that accidents happen and what he cares for the most is customer satisfaction. His integrity, compassion, and willingness to stand behind his company ultimately left me with a positive impression. I would highly recommend Eagle Movers and I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Einstein Moving Company saved my sanity. I had a long distance move scheduled originally with…read moreanother company that had increased my estimate & kept my deposit just 10 days before my moving day. Due to financial constraints, I decided to store my things locally for now while I relocated. I'm someone who's huge on reviews (non-incentivized) and personal experiences people have with a company or product, so Einstein caught my eye. From the first conversation with the representative when I called, I knew I was in good hands. The conversation was calm, every step was explained, emails and communication was fluid thru moving day. The truck was much bigger than I was expecting as well as the ramp placement at the side of the truck vs the rear which made me nervous, but luckily we were able to make it work in my apartment complex. Sully and Kenan were friendly and understanding overall. Asked questions along the way as needed, and took some of the stress away from what typically comes with a moving day (especially when it comes to this being my first time moving things into a storage unit). I do have to note that the move may have finished sooner had one movers not been out of commission by his lunch choice longer than expected... Also, seeing the feet of my couch during the move has me a bit nervous about how they'll look when I remove my furniture from the unit. From a few feet away when I saw them on the cargo elevator and being placed into the unit, they seemed like they were angled and scratched a bit from positioning during transport. The email after my move stated that I can inform them if I notice any damages, whenever it may be, so I'll have to do a thorough check when I next access or move-out of the unit. Other than that, I would for sure use them again, possibly even for when it's time for that move-out. I recommend this company as an affordable choice for a local move if all the movers are similar to Sully & Kenan who helped with mine. Thanks guys!
