i live in Ashland County and needed to pick up some deli items from Waynes....They have an…read moreexcellent selection and good prices....since it was late afternoon we checked the closing hours on the website and it said Friday 6pm. We drove the half hour just to find out they closed early due to a wine tasting... the lady when turning me away told me they had it posted there for a month...we don't come into town often so we didn't see it.....very disappointed....wasted time and gas.

If this place…read moredoesn't have what your looking for in terms of high percentage alcohol, you probably can't find it in Ohio. Quite happy they opened this place only a few miles from my house. Just a word of caution, if your looking for a good craft beer selection, another store might such as fishers might be a better option.

Whenever traveling I always use YELP, and it was right on the mark here too. Having grown up in Youngstown, OH, and having lived near New Haven, CT, I have eaten a lot of wonderful Italian Food. We didn't want to wait for a table to open up in the regular restaurant so we decided to eat at the GASTRONOMIA Italian Deli (same kitchen as the back restaurant). My wife is handicapped and some very kind ladies moved to a "high" table so we could sit at a lower table. We ordered from a young lady with the most amazing blue eyes and she brought our food when it was ready. My wife had the Muffuletta Sub and I had the Mighty Meatball Sub. My wife could only eat 1/4 of her sandwich and I could only eat 1/2 of mine. If you have ever lived in one of the two places I mentioned, you know good Italian . This was WONDERFUL Italian. The food was amazing; we ordered prime rib, asparagus, bread assortment, and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken - and chocolate gelato which they make there. Every item was delicious. Went in to buy some Beck's on June 26 around 4 pm. The attendant had told me that all they had was…read morebeing returned. I had asked to go out into the drive-through in order to have a look around. Unlike a previous attendant from a week earlier she did not appear pleased about this but did not stop me. I found 5 packages of Beck's; however, I was not allowed to have any of it since it was being returned. (Maybe I could have bought it all on a discount if it had been offered?) I was displeased with this but she was doing her job. So, no shade on her. My main concern with Lex is that when you drive in to the drive-thru you cannot really see what they are offering. There are racks of snacks in front of the coolers; and these coolers appear to have no light within them so you can see what is being offered. A driver has no real line of vision to see what is being offered on the right-hand side and the left-side is, as I just mentioned, covered with racks of snacks and the cooler lights are not on. Therefore, how can a customer actually tell what is being offered unless they get out of their car and look around, which is kind-of frowned on. Management needs to light-up those coolers and create a clearer view of their offerings. Otherwise, it is a good quick place to stop for spirits, which is amply displayed inside.
