The owner replied, "We do not discriminate." That response wasn't just dismissive--it was offensive. Offering a military discount isn't discrimination. It's a sign of respect for the men and women who've risked--and in many cases, given--their lives for this country. Equating gratitude with discrimination shows a serious lack of awareness, and quite frankly, a lack of respect. What made it even more disappointing is that this store is located in a community where many military families live. These are the parents, spouses, and children who support service members from the home front--often enduring long deployments, uncertainty, and sacrifice themselves. To respond that way in a place so connected to the military is not just tone-deaf--it's disrespectful to the very backbone of this community. If I could give zero stars, I would. This business doesn't deserve even one for the way it treats the very people who make it possible for all of us to live and work freely. Of course, every business has the right to decide its own policies--but customers have the right to support businesses that reflect their values. I won't be returning here, and I hope others who understand the true meaning of service, honor, and sacrifice will choose to spend their money elsewhere.

When we went inside, a lady was already mad dogging me because of my shirt. My shirt had Donald Trump shooting his head. Somehow that must have offended her. My mama then asked that same lady for assistance of shoes and she gave my mama a hostile tone "No. We don't have" like if we did something to her. Then we asked no further questions and got a pair of shoes to go get it exchanged and the hostile lady was in the front counter telling her coworker "can you serve them? I can't." Then my mama asked for a manager and her coworker automatically assumed the role of the manager and obviously trying to defend her coworker. Then the hostile lady threatened to file a lawsuit against my own mama because her boyfriend is a lawyer supposedly and because my mama called her out on her bad costumer service. The "manager" then said that my mama is banned from the Skechers once we make the exchange. All because of my Donald Trump shirt, people go stupidly crazy. If no one wants to work or cannot handle customer service jobs, QUIT WASTING YOUR TIME AND JUST QUIT.
