Real friendly staff. Great coffee too. We weren't in the mood for bakery eats so before getting coffee we picked up some fresh strawberries and raspberries in - store. All delicious too.
They have a new line that includes pecans enrobed no less in like a caramac style chocolate so a pack went into the basket too. Darn good with a coffee.
For young timers who don't know caramac was a Mackintosh chocolatier of Halifax invention; a caramel based confection with the name derived from the syllabic abbreviation of caramel and Mackintosh. The home of Quality Street, toffee crisp and Rolo. The Mackintosh's bought a pastry shop for £100 (in 1890) with wife Violet making her version of toffee and they never looked back. read more
