We were referred to this company by a family member because they had a good experience…read more Cici helped my husband and I when we visited the showroom. She showed us the options that were available for waterproof laminate flooring. We gave her our choices for laminate & baseboards and she scheduled a estimate for couple days later per our request. The estimate went quickly and they had a price for us the next day. We decided to go with QQI even though it was a little more expensive than another place we checked out because they could start sooner and our family referral. Demo started on Wednesday, contractor was supposed to be at our home between 8:30-9:00 per Stephanie at the office. He did not show up until 10:30. They removed our carpet, entry tile and some of the vinyl in the kitchen. They only stayed for about 5 hours and left. They didn't have cleaning supplies so they had to use our broom and dust pan to clean up. Jump to the seventh day (Tuesday) - my husband got home at Noon expecting the contractor to be at our home ready to go but the contractor is no where in sight. My husband waited to see if he would come and nothing. I texted the guy and he didn't reply so I called Steph and told her what was going on. She apologized and she called him. He told her that he would call me back but never did. He finally texts me after 5:30 and tells me he's on his way. I text him back telling him no, we're not available and not to come. My husband and I got tired of his flakiness that we called Steph after he texted and requested someone else to come finish the job. She agreed and apologized for the contractor. The eighth day - Wednesday - Stephanie's husband Andy came to finish caulking our baseboards. He was quick and apologized about the contractor. He told us to contact Stephanie if we have any other issues with the floors. They compensated us for the inconvenience with not charging us for the rounded corner pieces for our baseboards. We were told by Stephanie when we paid for our materials and half of the labor that it would take 3 to 4 days to install laminate flooring on the first floor of our home (under 1000 sqft). This project took EIGHT days to complete! The contractor not showing up one day made this process take a week to complete. And also him not showing up on time when he says he'll be here. We were expecting to get exceptional service, especially with paying $6k for the work. We didn't get that though with the third party contractor. We were hoping for this project to be painless but it brought lots of stress, especially when no one showed up to work on our floors for a day. Starring at the concrete floor of a home you just bought and already moved into is upsetting. Waiting for someone who says they'll be there and doesn't show is super frustrating. We thought installing floors with this company would go smoothly, but their third party contractor is the reason why this review is really long. We don't want anyone else to have the experience we had. Renovating a home is stressful but this made it extremely stressful for us. We do love the flooring that we chose, the staff at their showroom is helpful. But I don't think we'll ever go with a company with a third party contractor because of our experience.

While discussing what I wanted, Lisa provided ideas and insight that I hadn't thought of or came across while researching ideas. She invited my husband and me to come to her showroom to pick out samples so we could bring them home and "hang" them on our windows and see how the sunlight would look through them - and how the color of the window treatments would look with the color of the room. After choosing the color, the order was placed. The installer that arrived was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions AND cleaned up after himself. We started this process prior to closing on the home and we lived in another state, so I was very nervous! We have personally remodeled several homes so I was also concerned with their work as I feel like owners care more than workers. That was not the case! Their time line was right on target and their contractors were polite, and timely. Some of them worked weekends even. We were staying down the street @ a family members' house, so we were able to stop by everyday and no contractor seemed to mind this. We had a budget, but could shop for what we may have wanted to upgrade such as our light fixtures. We ordered our own appliances in the kitchen. For reference we purchased a 1380 sq ft home in Del Webb and everything besides the shower in the 2nd bathroom was replaced so it was from ground up in my opinion. I would be happy to speak with you if you want more information! Project took less than 3 months.
