He's a great communicator and went above and beyond what was agreed upon removing more large branches that I overlooked requesting and also took time to chop fire wood pieces for me when I mention I could use some of the fallen tree for my fire pit. Also, I live in Jackson Heights Queens and am a real customer. I noticed another reviewer make accusations that the positive reviews are fake based on the reviewers' location. Well, this one is certainly real and often people move and their locations might change. Then he rescheduled for Sunday at 10am. Didn't show again. Text after 10am and said he was on his way but wouldn't be there for nearly 2 hours. I canceled the project with him and asked for my money back but he came up with the excuse that the money I zelled him had to go to his sisters account and then he would send it back. I sent the money over a week ago and nothing back since. Every day he says the money hasn't went from his sister's account to his business account!! David is unreliable and dishonest. I had been paying $80 a…read moremonth for weekly lawn care. David conned me into $90 for 3x per month. But he never even kept up with that. My mistake for saying ok. When service is weekly, you know what day of the week you are expecting service. If your day is Tuesday and no one comes, you know where you stand. But 3x per month varies. Weeks would go by. I'd have to text him and he'd always say "tomorrow". I foolishly didn't say no this season when he came around. He got even worse. He'd come twice a month (at most) and not only bill for 3x, but add things for which I'd already paid. He rarely came at all. I have security cameras all around my property. I get notifications when someone comes anywhere near the place. So, I know when his men are there even if I'm not home. So, I know he was coming only twice a month with 3 weeks in between! My lawn is dead! And far, far worse, my basement got flooded because this guy didn't come and clean up! My lawn is very small. Most of my property is paved. Therefore, much of the job is cleaning up the plant litter. Most importantly, the drain outside my basement door. He didn't come, drain was covered and when we had heavy rain, it had nowhere to go! So, it came into my basement and did thousands of dollars of damage. I've lived here 16 years and never had a problem before. Superstorm Sandy didn't come in! But super dunce David nearly destroyed my home! And as the saying goes, he adds insult to injury by billing for the full month even though he doesn't come. I now notice his poor rating. Only 1 positive rating from a 1-time job 7 years ago! Ugh, I should have paid more attention.
