I hired Susan to create a shade garden for a backyard that gets very little sun. The space was a disaster area. Susan came, checked the space out and recommended a large variety of shade-friendly plants and bushes. On installation day, she and her crew came, cleaned up the area and did the planting. Susan came to look at our (large) front yard space. She promptly returned a proposal and estimate - I loved the plan she provided. The communication between my acceptance of the proposal and planting day was excellent (very important to me since my schedule is busy) - there was an unavoidable delay which she promptly let me know about and she provided a new installation day. The workers she brought were very polite, hard working and did high quality work. The plant material she brought was perfect for our space, beautifully varied yet worked well together and in good condition. Susan is the best! I don't know the first thing about gardening, or I should say I didn't know. I went to the nursery with Susan and she gave me an overview of what I want to look for based on my needs, which was, low maintenance plants that are exposed to a lot of sunshine in some areas and others in shade. She also asked me the color scheme I preferred and what my budget was. I got a great education on why and how you can pair plants together and how to maintain them. Luckily for me I found Susan on Yelp. and found Gold and a friend. She is a horticulturist, knows plants and is a good organiser, with teams of great guys who do sterling work.
