It was easy to request a…read morequote and they were very quick to respond with an estimate after giving them a few details, like how many rooms I have, what big furniture needs to be moved, how many floors my place is, etc. I was only moving a couple blocks away and from a one room to a two room and a one floor to a two floor. They recommended one truck and two men to help and it was about $110 an hour plus a truck rental fee. I paid in cash so I got a small discount on the hourly rate. Rather reasonable compared to the other quotes I got. They were great at communicating with me leading up to my moving day as well as the day of. My movers, Dmitri and Bohdan, showed up right on time and were very professional, friendly, and efficient. They helped disassemble my furniture (and put it back together) and wrapped up everything as needed. I even had a giant plant that I wasn't sure how to move, but since I was only going a short distance, they wrapped it up and secured it in the truck to take over. At one point I even got a little emotional about saying goodbye to my old place and they were so sweet to me. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and can't thank them enough for the help. I feel like most people describe moving as a stressful, but for me it was a breeze.

They said everything right to get the contract and then that's when it all went downhill. They promised to wrap all of our furniture and provide a box for our TV for our long distance out of state move, however on the moving day they did not provide any of the services after we gave the deposit. This was a long distance move from Ohio to Florida. Multiple pieces of expensive furniture and other items were damaged, and we are still currently dealing with the insurance company through them. They also damage the wall of our expensive home. They even try to upsell us on moving blankets midway through the move. When they arrived to Florida the owner was very clear that he demanded full payment before finishing the move. At the end of the move, they were supposed to move certain things to a storage unit and certain things into an apartment however the owner decided that he was done for the day at around 2 PM and I had to move heavy coffee tables and boxes by my own transportation in the rain later on that evening, after a long days work. This move by the way cost me about $13,000. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful with the Google reviews. It's very obvious that companies like these hire people to post positive reviews, however scroll to the negative reviews as well as yelp and you will see how bad of a company this is.

Moore Movers Services are heros and I would and will recommend them to everyone. They came in like…read moresuper heroes with only 24 hours of notice when a major moving company stood us up. They did 3 times as much as the major company was supposed to at only a fraction of the cost- which was great because the major company billed us in advance and the refund was not immediate. Don't let their low prices scare you. I was a little concerned about the quality of work we would get for such a low price but Richard explained his business philosophy is to take the stress out of moving and reasonable prices is one way he does that. Our moving team was Richard, Devan, and Tony. I will be calling them in the future if I so much as need a room rearranged.
