On June 1st, the alterations that she was trying to do through the boutique where she got her dress were stopped as they could not get it right. They had been working on the dress for 5 months, and had had 5 appointments, and were wholly unable to get even the hemline right. With right at a week before the bride had to leave for the event, we were on the hunt for a new seamtress! One place was unable to help as they just didn't have the time due to the extensive work needed. A friend recommended this place and we raced over. They looked at the previous work and told us the dress had been ruined by the previous attempts, but they could fix it. Hannah & Jamie were lifesavers! They were able to get the dress back to 0 overnight, and then began the real alterations. The first fitting came back near perfect. With a tweak or 2, it was ready to go with the weekend to spare! They truly saved the day, and the bride's sanity! I am also a wedding planner, and have already begun recommending them to my clients. It is so hard to find a GOOD seamstress, I only ever notice the bad ones. But Hannah & Jamie were a Godsend and I am so thankful for them! Their attention to detail, hard work, and knowledge all came together for a beautiful finished product!

But as it continued to unravel at the hem, I took a chance on Google maps, went straight to King's Tailors nearby (they didn't quite open on time, so I went across the street for a coffee; no biggie), dropped off my skirt to the friendly gal behind the counter, and was politely told when it would be available to pick up. Loe and behold it was ready when my friend picked it up, reasonably priced for the fix, and it's perfect. While it wasn't a complicated request, I wouldn't have wanted to wreck my favorite skirt, so I'm more than happy with their cost and services and would recommend King's.

The…read moreestablishment does not provide a clear listing of their prices upfront, which led to an unexpected surprise at the time of pick-up--a credit card processing fee among other undisclosed charges. While I am not opposed to paying additional fees, provided they are agreed upon in advance, the lack of transparency here was disconcerting. Prior to my visit, I had done some research--anticipating a reputable service as suggested by online reviews. However, my experience has since cast doubt on their credibility. To ensure compliance with regulations, dry cleaners should disclose their fees beforehand. Charges should align with the provided receipt (it did not). If you're considering Tower Cleaners for your dry cleaning needs, I would urge you to proceed with caution and to inquire about all potential fees before entrusting them with your garments.
