Technician came took a…read morelook for a few minutes, and figured that the problem was the control board and charged us $400 plus the service call and then left. After a few weeks of waiting for the part we called to find out an update and were told that the part should be in soon but we should just replace the entire system for some insanely amount of money! I said we'd consider it if we can't get it fixed. When the part finally came in a different tech who wasn't familiar with the system returned to install it. Then we found that we still had the same problem and that things still weren't working properly. The tech couldn't figure out the problem and that he'd need to go back to the shop to look at a schematic so he charged us for the service call and installation and left never to be heard from again. When we called to follow-up we were told to replace the system or don't call them back becuase they don't want to service the system because it's too old. Yet another company who just wants to 'sell' new systems to people who have older units. Again, this wouldn't be a problem if the system was completely shot and non functioning. But these guys just didn't want to take the time to figure out the problem and fix it. Techs were nice enough but what's with these attitudes in the office? Needless to say, I was able to find someone else from a smaller local service that pinpointed the problem which turned out to be a pulled wire from a plug which mysteriously happened during the previous part installation and a bad relay. He ordered the parts and came back to install them within a week. less than $50! It was unbelievable that these guys wanted to charge me to replace my unit. It's still working a year later with no problems! Go figure! Customer beware! The name says it all!

I had a mini split system installed in 2021 by CR Wolfe and after the first year, it required an…read moreaddition of refrigerant due to an apparent leak. The tech was unable to find the leak, but charged the system and got it working well again. This happened again this summer and again it was restored briefly to working order. When it happened a third time, the service department sent out an amazing tech named Thomas who was determined to solve the problem once and for all. Thomas worked diligently much of the day, found the original problem, but continued to test to prove that it was the only problem! I had paid for the previous calls, but when Thomas found the problem it was clear that it was an installation error and reported this back to his supervisor. Now comes the part that separates this company from so many others; when I sent a letter requesting they consider refunding my previous service charges, the management agreed and promptly send a check for those charges. This fair, customer first attitude is so rare in these times and has made me a great fan of CR Wolfe (and their amazing tech Thomas!) WELL DONE! Bon

Upon his completion we had issues with the following: - All pex insulators needed to be redrilled in the floor so the wood floors lay flush -broken plastic hangers throughout the house -diverters were not taped off which would have caused water leaking in the walls -the dryer was placed next to my sink instead of my washer; so the order now is sink, dryer, washer He communicated mainly through my husband; but when I did speak to him, he was disrespectful, rude, and spoke over me. I was truly shocked by his unprofessionalism.

Liberty was brought-in to renovate a vacant apartment above mine. Their project manager screwed-up…read moreand left the water running in the apartment after they closed everything up, causing water damage to the entire line of apartments below (4, including mine). At first, Liberty was very understanding and came and cosmetically fixed all the water damage on the ceiling and our wood floors (dehumidifier, sanding, staining). This initial response was fast and reasonable...they finished this by mid-January 2018. By early March 2018, the area of the floor that was dried/sanded/stained began to crack and separate with visible gaps between the floorboards in the apartment we had just purchased 1 year prior. I have spent the last 6 months dealing with Liberty to get their contractors into my apartment to survey the damage and fix (replace, re-sand, and re-stain) our wood floors. They have ignored calls and emails, dragged their feet in getting someone to even take a look at the damage, and had the nerve to try to bring in a second contractor to take a look in order to keep their costs down (this is 2 months after the first contractor had already taken a look and assessed the damage). I've had multiple points of contact, changing on a monthly basis, with nobody seeming interested in solving the problem and damage that they caused. Since March 2018, after numerous calls and emails, and threats of involving legal action, all Liberty Environmental Management can tell us is that the insurance company is reviewing the claim. But, they can't tell me when the insurance company will approve disbursement of payment, which means it's dragging-on even longer...all this for a $1500 and 3-day job to fix damage they caused.
