We definitely ended up paying more as I had to go get more cards mid-day so that didn't make me too happy. We started with the mini golf, which could definitely use some attention. Hole #7 was flooded so we had to skip that one. A lot of bricks are missing and there is a lot of rocks and debris on the green. The 18 holes are very plain with just a large boulder or two in the way. Next was lazer tag, this was one of our favorite things to do (we did it twice as a family). The first time everything went perfect. The 2nd time my gun and my son's gun kept turning off. Was annoying that we could still be shot as the vest worked, but the guns would turn off and then finally back on.. only to turn off again. The Go Kart Rides were fun, they give you a lot of laps and the cars are in good shape. The arcade games are pretty pricey, I would only recommend doing them if you have an unlimited or time card so you're not paying the "retail price" of the game. We loved the bowling. The server was fast and fantastic. The Balladium was enjoyed by the balls, but be warned, they shoot fast and hard. The workers there work very hard at the climbing wall and ropes course. I was very appreciative of them encouraging and motivating my boys when they were too apprehensive to do the zip line and climbing wall. We will defiantly be back in the future, and now I know what we like and what activities we don't need to do in the future.

When confronted for their extremely over oiled lanes, oiled to the point where it was physically impossible to get any spin on the ball, the staff stated that the lanes were so oily because they where just oiled today. This is not an excuse. Lanes being freshly oiled should not be this slippery. The balls were so gross that they could not even be held. Multiple people in our group and on the lanes around us dropped the balls on their approach even when held perfectly. DONT COME HERE!

We played a game of bowling, drove the go karts, played a round of mini golf, and played some arcade games. We also both got a cheeseburger and fries, soda, and I got a beer. I will review each activity below. Electric Go karts: This was by far both of our favorite attraction. It's so much fun to fly around the track, and that fact that it's completely indoors makes it even better. Mini Golf: This Mini golf course is small, a bit cramped, and doesn't have the fun effects that other courses have. However, I love the blacklight effect and the circus theme is VERY cute. That being said, both the paint and the carpet could use a slight touch up. I wouldn't pay for the Mini golf separately, but if you have the wristband it's worth one play. Bowling: the lanes were cool (they had a blacklight effect as well) and while we didn't do that well, both my husband and I had fun bowling again. As far as the food goes, we both agreed that the cheeseburgers were actually really good. I had a bottled Budweiser, but they also had a few tap selections as well. They have a TON of awesome arcade games as well. We played the basketball games, skeeball, the electronic bowling game and many more. They also have several activities we didn't try: The "Ninja" obstacle course, the bumper cars, and a trampoline like jumping attraction. If you are a parent looking for a cool place to host a birthday party, they have a decent sized private party room as well. Overall, I give Strikes and Spares 10/10. We both recommend it and are considering coming back on future date nights.

You really develop a sense of what retro bowling is all about when you enter this building. Over the past few years, the owners of the White Pigeon Bowl have been gradually modernizing their facility. While the above lane ball returns were manufactured by Brunswick in the early-to-mid 1950s, the rest of the equipment has been completely brought up to 21st Century standards. They have AMF synthetic lanes, and 82-70 automatic pinspotters that were recently upgraded to 82-90 standards. So if you're looking for a great place to bowl with that nostalgic feeling, but don't like the crowded big house atmosphere that other nearby bowling centers give you, then this is the place for you. Likewise, this is a cool place to take your kids to have a party, or just spend some quality time enjoying some open bowling together. The tokens get loaded on a gift card-like card and tap like Apple Pay for the machines. No tickets loading or unloading! Slice of pizza is $3.50 ($2.95 at urban air) 16oz Soda is $3.75 ($2.95 at urban air) Every $25 is about 15 minutes of play with a kid if you are playing claw machines and a few ticket games. They have rooms for hosting parties. Laser tag and dark mini golf / put-put available. Compared to Craig's Cruisers, their prices are half. The VR attraction would have been twice as much at Craig's Cruisers. If you want go-karts, go to Craig's Cruisers. Otherwise they have the same things besides go-karts. The little one is not really interested in the mini golf or laser tag so we just buy tokens.

We had a great time on the lanes, though, even if my son did manage to tweak his wrist on the final frame. As for the water, we didn't ask for any. I suppose, in a way, I don't want to know if it was ever fixed. The mystery of the odd color and the weird taste is a better story, and in a world where everything is supposed to be perfect, a good, weird story is a rare and beautiful thing.
