The whole process was very smooth. I'd much rather do my procedures here, rather than the Hosp.

However I took an integrative route, no radiation and no lymph node removal. I work with an ND and a Chinese doctor. My blood reports improve and I am strong and Sharp after 3.5 years from diagnosis no recurrence. NED He wanted me to do a CT Scan to see if the cancer had spread. What a thing to say! And he wont support on my Team with monitoring unless its AMA way or the highway. Zero flexibility. After I Left the office i cried. I Will look for another oncologist, even in Oahu if need Be.

First off, THANK YOU Dr. Altaha for keeping me alive all these years. You are the ONLY Dr. on Maui who treats me like a person and not a number or "patient". You always remember who I am and my medical history. (And even if not, he does a good job reading up on the chart prior to walking in and faking it. Lol. Which is still huge!) Because of this your value is immeasurable. He is thorough and caring and doctors like him don't really exist anymore. (Most I go to are overwhelmed, impossible to get in touch with, 6mos out for an appointment and then when you finally get there don't remember you and rush you out. ) Dr. Altaha is the reason I am still here after having hereditary blood clotting issues. I am grateful.

The problem is that as of sometime earlier this week Dr. Roston is no longer with the firm and I have received zero communications from her or from Maui Urology about needing to find another doctor for my continuing care. The office already seemed to be understaffed as appointments need to be made usually weeks in advance and now with one remaining Doctor that issue will be worse.

Dear Dr. Tetor, I am…read morewriting to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care you have provided. You are the best physician I have ever had, and I am grateful to have found such a caring, intelligent, and tenacious doctor here on Maui rather than having to fly to the mainland for medical care. I am especially impressed by your persistence regarding the pain and burning in my arm, shoulder, and hands. While the ER originally diagnosed me with bursitis, your dedication led to the identification of shingles and, subsequently, bulging discs and other issues via the CT scan you ordered for my neck. I am now moving forward to see a specialist thanks to your thoroughness. Thank you for your dedication to your patients. Sincerely, B Caprita

OPEN IN NAPILI PLAZA: Went in person to make an appointment…read morefor a blood work follow up and the receptionist was really awful. She took my info and then stated I had missed an appointment early September for my bloodwork follow up in Kihei! Firstly I went to the free Kaiser RV setup in Napili Park for any medical issues then not MMG as we were restricted from leaving the area after the August fire and MMG were not on this side, their clinic burned down. Secondly the blood work was taken 4 weeks ago in December in Napili! She was really awful, kept me waiting ages, then gave me an appointment in a couple of days time once she crucified me for my supposed missing a September appointment. I really didn't need to wait 10 mins for her to make her supposed point. My bloods were taken 3 months after the date she said I missed an appointment for blood work follow up. I really am glad that MMG have reopened in Napili. However the receptionist torturing me for missing an appointment I hadn't made and making me wait 10 mins to make an appointment was unfair. I'm finding Napili MMG clinic totally disorganised and unhelpful. I waited 2 hours for my bloods with a pre booked appointment, and waited 10 mins for an appointment in person to be booked for a follow up. People on the west side don't need this type of stress or time wasting when we are dealing with FEMA, Red Cross, etc. The receptionist should be ashamed treating clients this way. Please, organise your office Napil MMG. Once you get passed this first hurdle the other staff are fantastic. Dr Denton's nurse is excellent as is Dr Denton. It is just a pain trying to get an appointment or any valid help from reception before you get to the next layer.
