Great facility for boarding, lessons, and therapeutic riding! The horses are well cared for and there is a strong community feeling.

When you think of Halloween, you are usually confronted with the likes of your Spirit & Halloween…read moreExpress stores for your secret identity attire. I have been to this location quite a few times in order to perfect my gruesome costume, and the first time I went the woman working was not helpful at all and she actually chastised me because I forgot to put a box of shoes back on the shelf. I even apologized and I felt like a scolded child with the way she'd treated me. It would have been different if I tried on 37 costumes and just left them laying around everywhere, but this was a box of shoes I simply moved out of the way for a photo opp with a friend. I almost didn't go back after that, but Halloween is a strong pull in my life and I ventured back in several times. The other times I went, the staff was helpful, the store was decorated with fun and creepy interactive stuff to play with. Now the last time I went in there was by far the most helpful and I'm glad I didn't let that first visit keep me away. There was a woman in there who helped a very frantic version of myself... (I was a silent hill nurse, and realized too late in my process that part of my costume was disintegrating!!!) I was standing in the costume store with two black eyes, a prosthetic eye piece and my body painted white with veins and she helped me put together my final touches. Whew! Talk about a close call. Next year I will be sure to go back and visit for all my horrific needs :)

I will never shop with this company again! On 10/23 I purchased my 11 year old daughter a Halloween…read morecostume due to covid dressing room trying on was NOT available also due to covid and social distancing was in place, when I checked out I was NOT physically visible to see the small sign on the first register not the register I checked out at of the return policy! It's 2020 if I have a receipt I should be able to return an item! When we arrived home and my daughter tried on the costume it did not fit given to the products specifications! We went back to the store on October 27th minds you before Halloween on a Tuesday to exchange the costume the items we were exchanging for were for were 25 dollars less than the original purchase! They refused to return the item bc it was after October 22 (their return date cut off) even tho I was purchasing another item I would have lost the 25 dollars! Then I had to wait in line to check out and was told after standing in the long line I would have to step to the side so others could check out until the manager was finished checking out other ppl before me! The manager was beyond rude after now searching for a costume for my daughter to settle on and having to pay more money for the costume I originally bought I said to her it would be nice if ur staffed informed people of your return policy! Her response was it's not our responsibility to inform you of anything it's on your receipt and here and points to the first register???? I'm sorry no it is 100% your responsibility that's what costumer service is and how is telling me it's on my receipt even applicable bc I bought it in the 23 of October one day after your no return policy once it's on the receipt I've already purchased it that does me no good! Especially now with covid and not being able to use dressing rooms and so many businesses closing YES customer service should be a top priority and blatant rudeness and insulting somebody who could be easily spending their money somewhere else is disgusting to me! Final not nothing on the exchange policy says anything about being for equivalent prices!!! Take some pride in your job and don't be so rude and arrogant

We both had never rode horses before and it was one of the best experiences that we have shared together. The instructors and horses were so incredible and paid so much attention to detail during our class. The costs was so reasonable and we will definitely be doing this again very soon. This has made a lasting impression on my daughter and she is ready for summer classes and camps.

Well, here's my story…read more My friend's daughter loves horses and was talking about having a horse ride lesson one day. On July 3rd, on her birthday, we went online and found Leg Up Equestrian. I called them and left the voice message. I understand it was right before 4th of July so no problem. Then I went to their website, which is old, out of date and not user friendly but sooner or later I finally figured out how to fill out the form. On July 6th I received the email that they are on the holiday break. Well, not a problem, I understand the holidays. I called them after the holidays on July 10 and left the voice message again. On July 12 they send me the email if I still would like to schedule a trial lesson ($65). I responded with the dates I am interested in and they told me to fill out registration form. I also received separate email with a release form. To pay for the lessons was another adventure. You need to sign up, put all info again so I've decided to call them this morning to make sure I'll do everything correct. I called, left the voice message again. The gentleman called me back from the academy, I missed the call, called him back and here we are, finally having the conversation after 2 weeks of trying. He said that I need to fill out the form and make a payment, we had some misunderstanding with email addresses but figured that out. No problem. Then I asked him a question about the trial lesson itself. How long is it going to be? what exactly the kid going to do? and told him, that I had a bad experience with one of the horse places in Florida. (at that place, lesson was supposed to be 45 mins, and 35 mins the coach was explaining to my daughter how to take care of the horse, then 5 minutes the coach took a break and then 5 min horse ride) I explained this to that gentleman and asked to be just more specific. He said, 20 mins getting ready and 20 mins a lesson. I asked another question if it's a group lesson or not, he said, it might be a group lesson. I said, well, you didn't mention that and then he offered me a private lesson which is $75. I said, what is the difference between trial and private lesson. The respond was amazing - "I think, we are not a good fit for you, I have to go" And hanged on me. My concern that I spent so much time to get connected with them, finally got on the phone, asked simple questions, wasn't rude or blaming them on something! just asked to be more specific. Now, after 2 weeks of hoping to get a lesson as a B'day gift I need to explain her mom that Leg Up Equestrian never heard about customer service and live in 18th century.
