The horse was immediately diagnosed with a heart condition when I brought him to my usual (very competent vet) after I purchased him. Had Dr. Metcalf told me that the horse's heart was racing (which is what it does with this condition) it would have been a red flag for me and I would NOT have purchased the horse, To date I have paid over $20,000 of hospital bills and medications. I am stuck. I can't sell the horse and I have to give him 20 pills a day for the rest of his life. This Vet is incompetent and I am paying the price.
