The Deets: Park West Village has been around for a few years here in Morrisville and is a vast sprawling complex, located in the area between Morrisville Parkway and Cary Parkway along Chapel Hill Rd. Within its many roundabout traffic circle-accessible areas and multiple buildings, one can find many good restaurants & eateries, large retailers (Target, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Bath & Body Works, Trader Joe's, multiple others), banking institutions, electronic/gaming shops, craft shops, phone stores, health & beauty stops, home furnishing stores, and other places to shop. It also has residential as well as retail spaces, even a movie theater. If it would be any bigger it would be a challenge to walk around but I think it just hit the sweet spot between having multiple good shopping/services that's walkable and being too big to get around. The Morrisville Smart Shuttle (town provided free transportation service) even has stops there if you don't feel like battling traffic or parking, but they do provide plenty of parking if you do drive. I like this shopping center for what it offers and accessibility, I'm here frequently because of it.

For example Piada Italian Street Food is one restaurant that caught my eye tonight - if I hadn't already eaten dinner I would have liked to try one of their unique piadas that they hand-roll in front of you, or one of their salad or pasta bowls. As a shopping area, Park West Village is a lively, great place to hang out, take a stroll, and/or socialize with family and friends or visit on your own! The plaza looks shiny new and modern and is very clean and well-maintained. As a residential area, each of its THREE different neighborhoods is also loaded with the nicest amenities. I love that we have a Cava on this side of town now and I don't have to head over to Cameron Village, especially when the parking gets crazy for holiday shopping. I also recently went into the Pet People and had a great experience. Between the pilates studio and Row House it is great to have workout options close by. Nektar is opening soon which will be perfectly located next to Club Pilates. I know there is an Ashley Christensen restaurant opening there too which I'm excited for as well as a Starbucks, and Snooze eatery. You can also access the Wegman's parking garage towards the back of the plaza, head behind Club Pilates. Parking is easy, if you can't find one of their "street" parking spots they have a parking lot around the back by Cava.

I have seen many collectors items in that store and that store is loaded with excitingly high-end donations This store is unique in that they actually have attended fitting rooms, where you're handed a buzzer when a fitting room opens and you can have your turn. That's how popular this thrift shop is. They have an amazing selection of clothing where you can find some designer labels, hats, bags, antiques, vinyl records, lots and lots of beautiful framed pictures for extremely good prices, they even have bridal wear. Their jewelry counter is so much fun where you can find vintage earrings for two or three dollars up to five dollars, gorgeous statement, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, it's hard to walk away from that jewelry counter with nothing. Behind the jewelry counter is a gated section where you're really high-end items are located. You do have to have permission to go through the gate, but it's worth it to see some of the absolute die for items. They have checkout counters with efficient volunteers, who are friendly, and they have bagging or boxes whatever you need. You can join and earn points for your purchases. Plenty of parking, very easy to get to location, and bonus they're right next to the Restore where you can check in for some super nice furniture at great prices and some other items if you're looking for furniture. But let's stick to Dorcas, don't miss it. They must have thousands of books, hard back two dollars, paperback one dollar, with a few exceptions. Another reason you can stay in there for hours. And again the prices are very very reasonable and you don't have to ask because there's a sign on each section that tells you how much whatever in that section Costs. Truly one of the friendliest thrift stores I have been to. The only things I didn't like were how busy it was but it is awesome so I guess it's only fair that so many people love it. It's more like a carefully zoned outdoor entertainment center. Almost a "riverwalk" or "town center" that I've seen in other places. Surface streets cross through Cameron Village but there's lots of parking and you can easily miss parts of it because it's just a large retail and dining center. Best described as a cross between the East Village of NYC and south shore of Long Island. A bunch of restaurants and non- commercial shopping all jumbled into an outdoor shopping / dining Mecca. Cameron is best to visit on a gorgeous day. There are miles of stores and quaint restaurants. I visited here during lunch and had a hard time finding the Flying Biscuit. It's located across from Wells Fargo ( the bandits of the banking world). They have quite a lot of furniture, home decor and posh boutiques for women. Today I made the biggest mistake of dining at Which Wich. Terrible sandwich place. There were so many other great restaurants that lined this area. Check it out tourists.
