How wonderful to be able to go somewhere and have a drink with friends after a stressful night shift. The staff amazing!

Its a dive bar. The food is pretty good, but I only go there in the mornings for breakfast after working night shift. Its a great place to get bar and breakfast food with your alcohol. The parking lot is pothole city. read more

I'm an over-the-road truck driver who has played pool from Malibu Beach to my summer home near Murphy's Bar located on the Atlantic ocean at North Myrtle Beach, and was invited to play pool at Lynn's Bar by a couple of its patrons after shooting a couple of games. We agreed, that its benificial to play folks of better or equal caliber; thus, they turned me on to Lynn's. I wasn't disappointed. As, if your looking for a rustic nostalgic dive bar to sit back and socialize while eating or drinking, or to find a good game of pool, Lynn's is the spot. Located in Akron at 334 E. I know I reviewed this place earlier this year and gave it five stars. But I recently returned and, unfortunately, feel this update is necessary. I very seldom find the first evaluation is wrong, but this time it seems to be. I returned to Lynn's on a recent Saturday evening with a loyal posse of burger-loving friends, thinking they needed to share my experience here. well, needless to say, our experience was not what I had hoped it would be. This time I had a single burger. The burgers looked to be no more than a run-of-the-mill quarter-pounder, very thin. It certainly did not look to be hand-made; very disappointing compared to what they were serving during the fund raiser being held the last time I was there. The Blue Cheese was nothing more than salad dressing, served on the side. So, what else is there to say? Except: try the double cheeseburger, or the grilled cheese burger. This place had nothing we liked to drink. Our was everything else.. it stunk inside. The bar tender was rude. Won't be going back again.

My first time there my grams took me in for a burger and cold cIke in a small glass bottle. Over the years Lynnns changed and so did we. But always good times went in the past Friday night and greeted by friendly gentlemen almost before I had even put two steps in I was asked by a server whom later I I immediately recognized her as Karen mask police. I had innocently forgot to bring it in from the car. The last place I had stopped prior didn't require mask and we could smoke. But I completely understand people run their businesses as the deemed fit. That there right. I forgot to mention that my husband and I had been going on and off 4 boys and two granddaughters later, I came in for old times sake. Scott my new friend was able to get a mask and kindly helped me So ordered a Corona and a shot played a couple tunes and had good conversation with a good man thus far. So natured called went to BR fixed my hair and that's when I apparently forgot to put it back on and came out naked with a good probability infectious. I was alerted by the first server and she was cool, I just simply remembered that I had took it off to brush hair. So I got it back on but apparently this did not satisfy Karen the other server who had her eyes bugged finger pointed scowling, her words exactly was this:You know what YOU can just leave! Excuse me what? Scott frequent patron appeared embarrassed as I was. So I was a nurse for years. So honey if you see this just learn from it. Number one even if your having a bad day Im sure that Lynn wouldn't want you kicking a recently come backer and two do you think you could of been more professional as to not make you or I look like bitches and number three if you need power over another human being than learn to communicate professionally and effectively. Last but not least. You chose to kick out a paying tipping customer over the rationale that sitting in a bar stool drinking with no mask on less than a foot apart is practicing good infection control And you chose to jump my ass for not coming back over to my seat wearing. Let's see now , ten customers at most in the bar as I was walking with 20 times the space I had while sitting with no mask to drink. My condolences to Johns family My husband played in his softball team in th 90s and we also joined the chartered bus with Lynn's family and friends to Mountineer Bottom line, That girl has alit to learn life, people and damage contrroll.
