It was about a 25-minute drive from our house, and we parked in the farm's parking lot. We had an amazing time at the farm. Picking our own strawberries was so much fun, and they tasted incredible. Our toddler loved it too, he had a blast picking the strawberries. There was a coffee truck outside the farm, and after picking strawberries, we enjoyed delicious coffee.

I called them and they took my order over the phone. I ordered 2 lbs of blueberries and they were $6/ pound. I'm happy to have such sweet yummy local blueberries right off the blueberry tree. They also sell blueberry plants, jellies, jams, and blueberry syrup. It's definitely worth a trip! It's cash and credit and it's the easiest transaction ever. Just drive up to their table at their farm and they will have your blueberries ready for you!

Their festival is actually called the Festival of Marigolds and it is celebrated along side Dia de Los Muertos. The fields of flowers are breathtaking and there's so many in different heights. You can walk through them and take pics. It's not a u pic though. They do their own picking of flowers and sell them for bouquets. There's entertainment here, animals and tons of yummy Mexican food. We did not get food or buy anything bc the lines were LONG. They opened every day so it would have been better if we could come during the week. Hopefully next year at the end of October through beginning of November this event will happen again. It was very popular and $10 parking and no admission fee so basically the parking was the admission was a good deal. This is also dog friendly which is nice. Def a place to wear close toed shoes too while walking through the fields is much easier bc it's very Sandy.

So we were able to take pictures and wait 30 minutes in line for Boba and fruit cups. It is expected that you respect the flower field when taking pictures. So you enter when ever you want no wait line. Unless you want a popular picture stop.

It all started when we checked in and got our first cup of feed for the day. A short stroll over to their petting zoo led us straight to the donkeys, goats, and some of their youngest Highlands. We strolled around their petting zoo while we wait for our tour to start. After a proper introduction to all of the animals in the petting zoo, we loaded onto a tractor driven by an infant and a farm dog and were taken farther onto the property and there they were! There were at least a dozen Highlands ready for eating! We were given buckets with pellets and the feeding began! Feeding the cows was absolutely hilarious. Loved to see all their wildly different personalities. Some a gentle as a butterfly, some charging at you like a bull after a red flag! We loaded back up on the tractor (yes, the baby was still driving) and headed back to the front where, thankfully, there was a handwashing station. What a fun and funny experience on this close knit family farm!

About an hour and 15minute drive from orlando , this cute family owned and operated farm is fun for a few hours. The country roads are so peaceful and there are plenty of parking spaces. The owners live on the property and are so nice. We got to play with their 2 little ones ( one a new born ) and they are so knowledgeable. There are wash stations and Porta potties on site so it's easy for parents with kids. They don't serve food but do have cold water and lemonade for sale and you can purchase cute little souvenirs as well. They have chickens, goats, alpacas, several Hyland cows and a beautiful horse on property. We stayed for about 2 hours as there is much else to do after feeding the animals and taking photos. They are not open year round so you have to catch them on Instagram when tickets go on sale. I purchased mine back in August !! Go get your Hyland cow on and enjoy the fall weather in plant city, don't forget there are a lot of cool farms and places to eat local as well.

After the freeze this year, I was concerned that there would be not much left, but I can tell a lot of care was put into surviving this past freeze. The grotto did take a little bit of damage, but I know it'll be back. The fish are super big and thriving as usual. The fountains are always running. It's always so beautiful. Kudos to the team that keep it epic!
