My husband and I got there early about an hour after opening which was perfect timing because the crowds really hadn't started coming in yet. The displays were absolutely stunning from the welcome sign to the large field of marigolds. They also had food vendors set up and merchants that were selling a variety of marigolds already picked and potted along with some handmade crafts. Since it was still early in the day, my husband and I split a cup of elote which was made fresh right in front of us and so good! We got so much that we didn't even finish it by the time we got back home . I will say it's a good idea to bring cash with you, as some of the vendors only accept cash or Zelle. Most of them did have a square set up to take cards along with the entrance team. This event is only going on through next weekend (Nov 1) so I highly recommend everyone try to go out and enjoy the weather and support a family-owned business!

Their festival is actually called the Festival of Marigolds and it is celebrated along side Dia de Los Muertos. The fields of flowers are breathtaking and there's so many in different heights. You can walk through them and take pics. It's not a u pic though. They do their own picking of flowers and sell them for bouquets. There's entertainment here, animals and tons of yummy Mexican food. We did not get food or buy anything bc the lines were LONG. They opened every day so it would have been better if we could come during the week. Hopefully next year at the end of October through beginning of November this event will happen again. It was very popular and $10 parking and no admission fee so basically the parking was the admission was a good deal. This is also dog friendly which is nice. Def a place to wear close toed shoes too while walking through the fields is much easier bc it's very Sandy.

Trust wherever they guide you for the biggest berries- we took their advice and went way out in the back and found seriously the most gigantic blueberries I've ever seen in my life. They were as big if not bigger than cherry tomatoes! You won't find those at your local grocer! Each row of berries is labeled with a color ribbon because they don't just have one type of berry- some are sweeter, some are more tart. The owner said that it's nice to pick some from each row, especially if you're planning on making a pie because you'll have a mix of all the great flavors. I'm sad that they're already closed for the season, but we will be back next season!

This last weekend, we checked out Three Sons Farms. If you show up without your own bags/baskets/buckets, they will sell you a cardboard box for $1 (you can bring it back on subsequent visits without paying another $1). You then pick your berries and are charged $3/lb. That was a good deal for us as the local grocery stores are currently charging $4/lb, and the strawberries aren't as fresh. So, yay! I found the farm to be clean, and kept up well. We had no problem picking 3 pounds of ripe berries, most of which were eaten the same day. They have a market, and they prepare some food too. We had just eaten lunch, otherwise, I would have loved to try their strawberry milkshake or strawberry pizza.
