It was disappointing with a small selection of produce, breads, honey, herbs, and other less popular items. The best thing I found was the baby daikon. I would return for the daikon and if I'm strawberry picking (just on the opposite side), otherwise, I don't think the selection is enough for me to return or recommend.

Boom STF! Pulled up and the sign said come on in, something about an honor system, and I spotted the cooler, next to the cooler is a pat station and I read all the stuff. Just to make sure I got it right. There is a slot for cash, but I had NO Cash!!! Never fear yelpers, just then My eyes migrated to the venmo QR code. Ah ha! I have venmo! I grabbed my half gallon of raw milk( $8 half i think $12 for a gallon.) Oh man homemade kimchi!?! My love of kimchi gave me the bacterial Fortitude to try the raw milk! I grabbed some of that too. Well friends the half gallon is gone and not even a hint of stomach pain. E coli be damned!! I'm definitely going back for more goodies and maybe a steak!! It's not cheap to shop here but hey farmers are the lifeblood of civilization. They can charge whatever keeps them in business!! Do yourself a favor; live a little, and try something new. Maybe not the milk yelpers guts are not balanced. I've seen everyone's feed!! Lol!!

It's certainly gone up in price, but it's so damn good…read more I've been coming here on and off for years.....such a neat little place with such a great selection of local grown and harvested farm to table items....from eggs to milk to honey, yogurt, cheese and more! I don't eat all of the foods they offer, but I am loyal to their honey. It's super yummy! In fact, a couple years ago, I had a gallon jug with about 3 inches of honey crystallized at the bottom of it and wanted to give them to jug back to re-use and wasn't sure how to get the rest of the honey out...I wasn't even sure it was any good. They reconstituted my leftovers into about 2 pints/mason jars and I was grateful! Honey lasts forever as long as it's not contaminated. It's amazing they still use the honor system - I love that they do this, you can walk around the farm and pick out goodies for your fridge...and just take what you need and leave cash in the slot. (The Venmo option is new to be there, I'll stick with cash!)... I love that they continue to maintain the old farm ways and will continue to support this local little bit of bit of history here right in the heart of South Tampa. Maybe when the nieces come visit, we'll tour the farm and pet the piggies and all... It's been here for yearssss and I hope it lasts forever and they can carry on its legacy!

There are breads, jams and jellies, herbs you can take home and plant, flowering plants as well. So many items available that you wouldn't imagine just by a quick glance from street. They have Cajun and regular boiled peanuts at a great price! The place is so clean and everything looks so pretty and delicious! You won't regret stopping and shopping locally!

It should be able to finish visiting for one hour. If decided to try their food truck is about one and half hour. The food truck included the Mexican, burger, Thai, mini donut, hot dog and more. I like the art work display. In including the live plant. They have unique potting systems that plant and air dry systems. Watering only once a few days. They also has electricity bike that can combine the paddle power and electricity for 50 miles range. The vendor includes egg farm, fresh market, power supplements, sourdough bread, sprouts veggies. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with this market, but I would likely not visit it, if it were not for the fact that it's about a 7 minute walk from my front door. These farmers markets have really blown up over the last couple of years, and it's great. Tons of vendors that don't have the ability to own a brick and mortar store front are provided a means for operating their business. They're essentially traveling gypsy's that happen to sell soap, produce, or various pet merchandise that's not needed, but so darn cute. As for North Tampa Market in particular, it comes with all the typical fixins'. I do wish there were more places to sit and eat, as the ratio of food and people : seating is quite skewed. Also, the market is heavy on the dirt and mud, which also brings more bugs when you do finally find a place to sit and indulge. That being said, the market is fun place for us to hang out on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10-2 :) I especially enjoy the calming melodies of the musician, as I enjoy my grilled cheese sandwich, kombucha, and banana bread.

Come so you can try palm cream sauce and make your own fufu. This is a REAL market where you can purchase the makings for a wide variety delicacies from Africa. The proprietor is friendly and helpful. He gave us tips on preparations and what to try. Also told us what sauces went with what dishes. If you don't want to cook, Asher Amens is nearby and will fry up some Nigerian food for you. But isn't it about time you learned to cook some Gambian and Togo style delicacies? Live a little. If you open an account on their website you can select produce that you do not want Raw Box to send you. (I hate mushrooms and eggplant so I made sure to select these items on my "do not send list".) Raw Box offers fruit, vegetable, or mixed boxes. They also offer a "juicing box" that contains fruits and vegetables that are good for juicing. All of the boxes come in three sizes: small, medium or large. A small box costs $35 and usually contains 10-13 items for 1-2 people. A medium sized box costs $45 and contains 14-17 items for 3-4 people. A large box is $55 and contains 18-22 items. I purchased the small vegetable box with my living social coupon. I had a bit of trouble using the website so I ended up calling Raw Box and placing my order over the phone. I was really pleased with my shipment. My small box did not seem small at all and contained a variety of tomatoes, sweet potatoes, yellow onion, parsley, carrots with tops, lettuce and kale. Abby's is a bit far to go every week, and the grocery stores are often out of things that I want if they even have a decent sized organic section. We subscribe to an organic produce service in California as well, but I like that you can choose to omit the foods you do not like at Raw Box, unlike our Cali service where you get whatever they choose to give you whether you like it or not.
