It has only been open for about two years, which made me realize I may have actually ordered from this chef years ago--maybe 4 to 6 years back. From what I remember, he originally started his business out of his apartment. It definitely felt a little sketchy at first, until you met him. Once he brought out the order, you could tell right away he was a kind, hardworking person. My current favorites are the Nara, Yokohama, Kashiwa, Alief (similar to shaggy dog), and the spicy chopped scallop hand roll. They sometimes garnish the plates with seaweed salad which is a nice little surprise. I work just 5 minutes away, so I will definitely be frequenting this place for lunch.
