First Time Visit Very Disappointing Experience
I do want to be clear that my concerns were not about expectations, but about comfort, communication, privacy, and professionalism especially for a first-time client. Being rushed through the service without explanation, not being asked about my comfort level, lack of privacy, and being moved directly from the sauna into a lymphatic massage without the ability to rinse or a hot towel something to wipe off, left me feeling overstimulated and uncomfortable. The loud environment and personal conversations during the massage also took away from what should be a relaxing, high quality experience.
From the beginning, everything felt very rushed and nothing was clearly explained. I was expected to strip down and be fully naked without anyone asking about my comfort level or boundaries. For a first time client, there should be a proper consultation explaining what the treatment involves, what to expect, and why each step is being done.
After the sauna, there was no opportunity to rinse off before going straight into the lymphatic massage. This meant my body was covered in about 20 minutes of sauna sweat that was then massaged into my skin, which can lead to skin irritation or breakouts. I felt uncomfortable and gross having to put my clothes back on afterward, covered in sweat and massage oil.
The space itself is very open ceiling so the rooms are semi private the music was loud, and during most of the massage my therapist was talking loudly back and forth with another therapist about personal matters, which completely took away from the experience. This did not feel relaxing or professional.
When I shared my concerns at the end and explained that I felt overstimulated and uncomfortable, the manager offered $50 off a $250 service, which did not feel like an appropriate resolution given the experience.
Overall, this was not a luxury service and not worth the price being charged. I left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable and it took everything in me not to leave mid service Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this experience. read more
