A truly wonderful old fashioned country local community hub, public bar. Owned and managed solely for the past 20 years by an exceptional elderly lady who was the true heart beat of the tavern. The welcome and warmth was so endearing and relaxing. The usual regulars and clientele is very friendly and the fun and craic is truely wonderful especially from the younger generation of locals. young farmers etc, and a special big shout out to the likes of : James Russell and his cousin Mark. Ewan Hall who is so special ,he give Layne so much fun and pleasure. Cant fail to give a big mention to a very special man that Layne was very fond and proud of _ Ryan Wray and also a soft spot for his brother Mark. There are many many more I could mention but I don't want to name everyone and maybe cause offense if I happen to leave someone out. They all already know how much Layne thought of them and appreciated their friendship, craic and custom. Before I sign off!!! it would be very remiss of me if I didn't mention a very special man, who was always helpful and not only caring and attentive to Layne through having a kind heart. Roy Logan. I will be forever in his debt With the deepest sorrow and hurt alas Layne decided it was time to move on to where she always knew where she would eventually arrive _ HEAVEN.
God bless and hold her in his loving arms now she is united with David. read more
