But that is not the real problem. The real problem is that they cut my tint in the middle of the windshield where the windshield meets the hood and look like someone tried to put an X. I called the shop which I spoke to the manager who insisted on me to bring the car so they can view the cut mark. Once I got there, I showed him the spot. He proceeded to deny the incident. I know for a fact, they put the X at that spot because I had the car washed and there were no scratches on my window shield tint at all. The only fresh cut marks was the sloppy job of cutting my tint. To put the inspection stickers. I hate dealing with businesses that do not own up to their mistakes and I do not recommend this place to anybody because if they can deny something so my new and not take responsibility than when it comes to fixing a car, they will do the same thing which will mean more money out of your pocket. The only good thing about this shop is the receptionist. She's the only humble person there to deal with. It sucks that I have to go. somewhere else to take care of my inspections, even though I was advised to go another place other than them. I called to ask why the difference between the estimate and the total and was told that the estimate was for one tire. I asked why they would send an estimate that isn't for the entire job and the owner basically started to yell at me over the phone saying the car needed two tires and would I like him to put one of the old ones back on, otherwise basically to go F myself. All I wanted was for him to say "sorry for the miscommunication on the estimate" and we'd be good. But I couldn't even get a word in as he's talking about "this is how I've done this for 40 years" and other boomer nonsense. To send an estimate that doesn't have the total for a job is so completely outrageous and deceptive that I will never be going to this place again. I came and was told I needed to replace two tires. I said ok, please send me an estimate for replacing the two tires. You send me an estimate. When I see that estimate, I expect the line marked "Total" to be the actual total that I am going to pay. Quite frankly I don't care about the itemization above it, all I care about is the total. I'm quite certain the tool you use to send invoices has the capability of changing the quantity from "1" to "2" so that the total shown is accurate for the work that will actually be done. That is the deceptive practice that I am commenting on. Your total was not the total. it was less than half the total. Additionally, since you seem inclined to insult my intelligence (I work in finance by the way and basically do math for a living)...$185x2 = $370. Your total was significantly above that.
