I called Friesens and received a quote for a hood fan installation. When the installer arrived he said they do not install hood fans and he could only install the roof vent and the duct work to where the hood fan would be. The installer did a great job, but now I had to still get the hood fan installed. Also, they charged me the full price that should have included installing the hood fan. I did not think this was fair and I called the person who gave me the original quote. He told me that when they quote for a hood fan installation it only means the duct work up to the fan. This is very strange. When I got a quote from a plumber to install the sink, he did not just install the plumbing, he installed the sink too. All in all I did not think I was treated fairly and I would not use this company again.

She seemed uninterested in the job and more focused on telling us what is wrong with her company. Our insurance company recommended we chose nationwide because they were working with them on another restoration project so we did. Boy was that a mistake. First day they were supposed to start the job, we were told to have someone at the house from 8AM-5PM. I ended taking the day off from work and waited for them to show up, finally their Van shows up 4PM and two heavy set woman barrel out. There was no explanation or reason why just PMS riddled attitude. Fast forward to day two. My wife finds one of their employees rifling through our computer desk looking for something on the opposite end of the house they didn't need to be in. when asked the lady said she was looking for a pencil but who knows what she was looking for. The other employee helping her seemed more interested in personal life and was on her cell phone most of the day. when I arrived home and my wife told me about the incident I told them to pack up and leave. We told our insurance company and they apologized for recommending them. Please beware if you use this company.

As a previous employee, they are an unorganized, unprofessional business that lacks empathy, and honesty. As the company is blaming staff for the failure of responsibilities, obviously to cover their lack of commitments, 6+ of us walked away from the company within the last 4 months to save our own reputation. There are more reliable and honest restoration companies out there that will meet your needs.
