It looked as if my laptop had viruses or had been hacked or.... whatever. (I'm a complete Luddite…read moreso I haven't a clue!) I stopped in to ask if I needed an appointment and was told I was fine for a walk-in that afternoon. I came back with the laptop and was told it could take anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the severity of the problem. Well, they got it resolved in about an hour, patiently answered a number of my very clueless questions, and charged me the minimum price they'd quoted - and they gave me the senior discount that I'd forgotten to ask about! Not being a techie sort of person, I was really dreading having to deal with this and kind of worried about being made to feel stupid! Well, Tim and Jacky were both quite lovely and I was delighted to see they didn't just have the technical skills but also great customer service skills. All told, a very positive experience.

Thanks, L2 and Danni, for taking notice and handling my return. EDIT: Danni at L2 Computer saw this review and has come forward to process the return. If that happens, fingers crossed, I can update this review again with a happy story! Original review here: L2 Computer operates under a different name on eBay (laptop_mb_seller), which is curious. Why not call yourself by name? Covering up a shady past? Probably. I had one simple need, a laptop battery. Simple! I ordered it on eBay. I didn't have the tools to open my lapotop and it took a while to find them. In that time my battery went from crummy to unusable--as in, if the machine wasn't plugged in, I had no operation. So my battery situation became desperate. So I get the tools and finally open the box that L2/laptop_mb_seller shipped. Guess what? Wrong battery! I didn't realize this until I opened the computer with my new tools and the battery that L2 shipped and attempted to install this battery, which was a completely different size and didn't fit. So I looked at the eBay picture and sure enough, not a match. The wrong battery that they shipped has 6 "bays" and the one I need (and the one in the pic) has 4. Additionally the one they advertised and that I sent $89 for was A1405 020-7379-A fits Apple MacBook Air 13" A1466 2012 MD231LL/A. What they actually sent clearly states A1495. NOT A1405. Did you know there is something called warranty, under the law, which means that when you advertise that you are selling a certain item then the express warranty is that item? I'm selling you a car = I'm selling you a car. I'm selling you a laptop battery = I'm selling you a laptop battery. I'm selling you a blue 1965 Mustang means that it's not supposed to be a car but that you are WARRANTYING that you're selling a blue 1965 Mustang. Same goes for this battery. I'm selling you A1405 = you are warrantying THAT, but sending me A1495 is WRONG. Thus, it is your duty under the law to make the exchange and make it right. I contacted them through eBay mail, and they ignored. So I got ahold of their phone number and spoke to a woman who fought me tooth and nail but then admitted that if I could indeed provide the pictures of the wrong battery they sent (I still had all the packaging and the shipping label and everything original) they would replace it. Per her instructions ("You can call me Kan," she said, and she claimed her boss/manager who authorized was James) I sent all the photos to their provided email address. They wrote back and asked for YET MORE PHOTOS, which I sent and satisfied the burden of proof over which they agreed to swap out for my CORRECT battery--you know, the one that I ORDERED and PAID FOR. I also offered to cover the shipping myself because I was so desperate to get my battery replaced and this done. I sent three subsequent follow-up emails and they have blown me off completely. Meanwhile, they still sell the product for $89 so it's not like they are going to lose anything. They have nothing at all, in fact, to lose, other than some dignity because of their refusal to follow the law of warranty. And being the jerks they are, I'm calling them out here. It's no wonder that they have poor Yelp reviews and BBB problems. STAY AWAY. I wish I had.

If you are considering a Retina MacBook Pro display assembly with a replaced polarizer from this…read morecompany, buyer beware. I purchased three over the course of a few months, and each one had to be returned. One of the screens had pressure marks and brown spots as if burned with a heat gun. Another had an entire column of dead pixels. The third had the worst backlight bleed I'd ever seen, and appeared to be a non-genuine display, similar to another knock-off screen from China that I previously owned. I am not convinced that they can actually perform this repair without damaging the LCD. It's unfortunate, as this is a unique service and these screens are otherwise expensive and hard to find in good condition.

My iphone 13 screen wasn't working due to water damage…read more I was given 2 options which was $100 or $150 for the quality of the screen. They told me they will call me before putting the phone screen on to ask. I got a call about an hour later stating that the only damage on my phone was the screen. I asked a few times as I originally wanted to trade my phone in with apple, but if it was only the screen that was damaged, I would reconsider. They told me they would use an original iphone screen as they ran out of the better quality screen. I opt-in for the original screen which I paid extra for. I was in a rush when i got my phone and didnt check it throughly. The screen is not original. So if they ran out of better quality screen and my screen isnt original, did I pay extra for the lower quality screen? A week after the fix, I had noticed that the light sensor wasn't working on my phone. I do believe that when I gave my phone in, they told me they would check my phone to ensure everything was working. And that included the light sensor. I took it to the store, left it for a few hours only to be told the "ribbon" was damaged by the "cracked screen". When i told them it was never cracked, they changed their reasoning to water damage. I was given attitude as I tried to reason. The service would be a 1star as I did not get the original screen which I was promised. The service is also a 1star as I was given attitude when I went in for discovering another damage which I was told prior that the water only damaged the screen.
