The best SNS in town! Went in an hour before they closed, was welcomed and my nails look amazing. I forgot to get to man's name that did them, but they are EXACTLY the why I like them done. I usually go to another popular Gainesville nail salon to have SNS done (not all of them do it) but it was Sunday and my usual salon was closed. LV surpassed my original salon with flying colors. the man did my nails and they looked phenomenal.... that was until i looked a little harder. color was missing from the sides of my nails from when he was filing them down. i asked him why the color was missing and he blamed me? explaining that because my nails were too wide so he had to file them that way causing the polish to be removed. first of all sir this was not my first time getting SNS done so do not try to play me! i asked him- how does he expect me to be okay with multiple finger nails missing nail polish. i showed him my four nails missing polish and he asked what i wanted him to do.... fix my crap!!! came here in awe because of the instagram pictures, but the actual service was the opposite. my nail tech was a 30-40 year old asian male, mid-size, with glasses (saying this so you can avoid him). i told him what i wanted and even brought a picture reference, he said he can do it. 1) first red flag is that he looked at the picture once. 2) he didn't do the design that i wanted. he followed through with the same colors BUT HE CHANGED THE DESIGN AND GAVE ME SOMETHING I DIDNT WANT WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. 3) he didn't talk to me throughout the entire process at all. nail techs should ask you constantly if "this is ok?". he didn't say anything to me. 4) the only time he talked to me during the process was, "french tip too easy." (the design i wanted was ombre thumb, ring finger, and pinky. middle finger was white hearts and pointer finger was supposed to be a FRENCH TIP). he changed the french tip into a weird line design instead. the hearts i wanted don't even look like hearts, they just look like messy dots. a slim female (im assuming she was in charge) came over and laughed at the 'hearts' he did. he messed up multiple times and didn't fix them unless i said something. i told him to fix the hearts, instead he made them bigger and worse. there is tiny specs of white all over my nails from when he messed up. my nails are not smooth , they're bumpy and weirdly shaped. 5) when he was done, there was nail glue and nail polish all over my fingers, he didn't even CONSIDER wiping them off. i had the courage to ask the slim woman (who was helping my friend) to wipe it off. awful experience, paid $70 for nails that i didn't want. shaping isn't even good either, some nails are longer than others, some are wider and others are very narrow. my cuticles bled after as well. ** if you do come here, don't go to the older male with glasses. awful service, awful and sloppy job, not worth the money and very unhappy. read more

Ok place for a pedicure, but they're inconsistent with quality of SNS nails. Sometimes, my nails look fine (never great) and other visits, I leave and have a closer look and discover my nails are lumpy/ uneven, as if they weren't filed smoothly enough on top. I won't go again. read more

It's a great place to walk in and go to but today my first time ever I walked in and the guy that started working on my nails was being very rude. I asked for a charger cause my phone had died which I assumed they would be nice about but him individually was being rude to me and said something In their language that they speak that i didn't understand and while he was working on my nails he was being rough and at the end drop my phone and I just mean mugged him bc I know he did it on purpose and so my whole mood changed and he just started being nice to but at the end didn't do a great job on my nails. Worst experience EVER! They rushed me to pick out my color then sit me in cold water for my pedicure. They didn't have the color the first three colors I picked out. I was already in the water so I couldn't leave. They placed me in a broken massage chair that they knew was broken (there were 6 other chairs they could have put me in). I had to go with a color I did not want or like. My manicure was so uncomfortable bc they did it from the pedicure chair and I had to hold my right arm up and over the whole time! Everything was BAD! Oh and they don't take American Express! And my pedi and mani looks like crap! read more

Save yourself the aggravation! I have been to the LV Nails Bar three times. My first visit was OK. Do not expect any communication from Vi, the owner who did my nails. Vi did do a good job on my nails that first visit. Unfortunately the good service did not last. My second visit left me sitting for thirty minutes even though I had an appointment with Vi the owner. He took someone else at my appointment time. Finally I let a woman do my fill in. While I was there they had a nine year old girl running the cash register and running for different items. The poor girl looked miserable and her mother that was doing my nails made the excuse that she was just tired. I thought it odd that a nine year old was being forced to work. I tried again to get Vi on my third visit. He was ready for me upon arrival, but again spoke to me only once to ask what color polish I wanted. The third visit went alright until the next morning when the gel polish started peeling off of three nails. I noticed that Vi did not wipe the nails with alcohol before applying the gel polish and even touched them with his fingers to make sure they were dry after washing. I didn't question him because I though that he was the expert. So when I drove 20 min back to the shop the next day, Vi insinuated that it was my fault. He said that happens when you hit them on something. He never apologized for wasting my time, not to mention the gas it took for a 40 minute drive round trip. I hope this review saves someone else their time, money and overall experience. read more
