We had a queen and her works take up residence on one of the pressure washers. Called LV Bees and Dave came out immediately. He vacuumed up approx 3000-5000 bees and also captured the queen. I would put 1 star but at the end of the day, there was a job done. The good first. 1. They provided photos/videos of the situation and the work done. Very thorough on that end. 2. The hive and its queen was removed at the end of the day. Now the bad. I thought this was a BEE REMOVAL company. Keep that in mind as you read this sloppy mess. When we spoke about the removal options and how it was 99% going to be an interior removal (from inside the house), I expressed my concern about the straggler bees infesting the stairwell that is about 2 stories in height (since the hive was right above the stairs, not a room). They told us that they'll vacuum them up and take the bees with them. They also told us that they would put up plastic to enclose the area as best as they can. When the hive was removed, there were a huge amount of bees, both dead and alive, littering the stairwell and the floor. When I first saw it, I was under the impression that LV Bees would remove the live bees for the final touches. I expected only dead bees at the end and I'll vacuum those up myself. Once I get those dead bees vacuumed, then I'll schedule carpet cleaning services. When they were doing their last touches, I expressed my distain for the amount of live bees still left (I would estimate around 150-250 live bees) and how I thought it was unacceptable for my family. NO FAMILY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD THINK THEIR HOUSE WAS HABITABLE IF IT HAD THE SAME AMOUNT OF LIVE BEES BUZZING AROUND. My family would be disgusted and frightened if they saw how littered the stairwell was with LIVE and dead bees. When I told him that the current condition was unacceptable, I got an indirect answer that implied that even if he tried to vacuum all the live bees, more would come out of other areas. I went and found my vacuum to start my portion of the clean up under the impression that they would remove the live bees. After I found it and got ready to vacuum the dead bees littering the floor, LV Bees left without saying anything. I was infuriated. I have about 150-250 LIVE bees buzzing everywhere and this condition was unacceptable for my family, whom I told to stay in their rooms. Now I had to call various different pest vendors to do the removal of the LIVE bees on the same day (I was calling around 2pm-3pm on a Friday, where the work day/week would be almost over for most vendors and the chance they can do same day service was slim. I ran a HIGH chance of having these live bees littering my staircase for the whole weekend). I had to work after the time estimate LV Bees gave me for the hive removal and I had to wake up early the next day. For 1 and half hours, I couldn't find a vendor that could do same day service (3 pm at the time) until I finally found Mitchell Pest Solutions. MPS were the only ones that could do same day service and I owe it to them for saving my intensive errand and work-filled weekend. Right as MPS came to my house (which was roughly around 3 hours after LV Bees silently left), LV Bees then explains why he left so suddenly and quietly. On my part, I will say that I should have questioned LV Bees more on what EXACTLY they would and would not do. However, I thought this was a BEE REMOVAL vendor. The whole point of taking out the hive is that the bees will be removed. While the hive was technically removed, there was still a considerable amount of LIVE bees left over from the removal. Then the Vendor just picks up his #$%^ and leaves, requesting payment 3 hours later. I lost out on a whole day's worth of much needed work, I had to hire another vendor to clean up the $%^&'ing mess they made, and I had little sleep when I woke up the next morning. NOT how I wanted to spend my ENTIRE Friday. All and all, a SLOPPY removal job. read more

Best Bee people in Las Vegas/Henderson! I had a beehive in this hollow rock in my front yard (see the picture). I didn't know bees could be rescued or relocated. I had used an exterminator three times over the last seven years. I even filled the rock with foam I bought from Home Depot. The bee exterminator I used (after the third time) recommended this. The bees STILL came back! A friend told me to call someone who relocates the bees. I called five places. Only two got back to me. One guy wanted to charge me $40 for an estimate. He wouldn't go off my pictures or video. Dave text me right away, and it was after hours. I sent him pictures and videos of my busy bees. He gave me a quote via text. He came the next morning at 6:30 am. He honored his quote. He moved the bees to his container. It took him over two hours, and his price was cheaper than the exterminator! Then, he came back the next night, after dark, to get the bees. He also sales real local honey. I bought honey for him, which is excellent for people who have seasonal allergies. Dave also told me how to get honey from the honeycomb in my front yard. He left me some. There were bees in it, and I was supposed to cook them. I couldn't do it! My kids wouldn't let me either. I really wanted the honey because I have bad allergies and so does my son. I asked Dave if he would get the honey for me. He did! He even sent me pictures as he did it along the way. I paid him for his time because it was worth it, and he is an expert. He knows so much about bees. He has about 200 beehives across Henderson, Las Vegas, and Moapa Valley. I can't recommend Dave and LV Bees enough. I hope the bees will not come back to my front yard again now that the hollow rock has been removed. read more

Called Dave and spoke with him first about our bee situation. He was able to send out his partner (Steve). Steve was able to assess the situation and we found the bees at the top of our stairwell. Steve was super knowledgeable and what I liked most about LV Bees was that their first intention wasn't to kill the bees. I was very upset when another company was trying to charge us over $1,000 to kill them and $2,200 to save them and relocate them. For any of my future bee issues I'm definitely calling LV Bees. Here's an update since the owner chose to leave a rude and incorrect response. First of all my name is Brittany. I was not a "nosy neighbor," nor did I walk anywhere near the hive removal being conducted. My backyard abuts the yard where the hive was removed, so I had angry bees flying into my yard for days looking for their queen. My sister was in town visiting from out of the country for a single weekend, and she wasn't able to go outside to swim in our pool because bees were swarming my house. Last week I realized I had a bee issue and looked on the Nextdoor app and was looking for no kill bee removal and came across a lady recommending LV Bees. Dave is very knowledgeable about bee and he does a good service to the environment by relocating the bees instead of killing them. I confirmed with him to come at 7 PM and he was at my door before 7.15 PM so that was fast. He diligently took out all the bees while giving us some knowledge. He even updated us with information post service on how many bees there might have been which was surprising. and I am happy with the service. Only one thing that stands out is that he will charge full amount again even if he has to come back next day. His price is very reasonable, I did not needed to call him back and I am sure he thinks that his work is good enough not requiring for him to come back. LV Bees was absolutely amazing! I cannot put into words my appreciation and gratitude to Brennan and Dave. This was my second hive in 2 years and I already was concerned about how big the hive was and the possible damage to the house. I contacted them through their website and received an almost immediate response. They texted with me late into the evening answering questions and we made an appointment for the next day for Brennan to determine if I did have a hive or if the bees were just scouting. We had a hive in the chimney and Brennan took steps to make sure bees didn't come in the house and we scheduled for Dave and Brennan to come out a couple days later to do the removal. They arrived on time and kept me updated through the removal process. Once they were done we talked for a while and they answered my questions and I learned quite a bit about bees and their hives. I was even given a piece of the honeycomb with some delicious honey. The bees were relocated and very minimal car to our environment. Most companies destroy the bees, and Dave and Brennan regime the hive as to not disrupt or harm the environment. I received a follow up call last night to see if the bees were still around and if I had any problems with any still in the chimney. Honest, reasonable prices and good for the environment.
