What: very small farmers market with one fruit/vegetable vendor, baked goods, dog treats, coffee beans, hummus, green juice, jewelry, etc. Probably less than 20 vendors. This is the second time we tried to give this place a chance, even though we are used to the Campbell, CA farmers market, which is amazing, but we will never return again. I bought two dragon fruit for $12, got home, cut them open and they were over ripe/rotten and inedible. Welp, my fault for never have eaten dragon fruit before and not knowing how to pick them, but then again, didn't expect a vendor to sell such poor quality goods. When: Sundays Location: same plaza as Smashburger and Taco y Taco. Your only other choice is the Summerlin Downtown farmers market on Saturdays, which is a much better experience, but even that is small compared to California. read more

This location is about 2 miles from our area, so we always check out the vendors at least twice a month. We always find something good. We usually go here for the food :) E.g., popcorn, juice, jerky, fresh produce, etc. It may be difficult to find a parking spot, so we go about an hour or 3 minutes before they wrap up. read more

I always look forward to stopping by this friendly little farmers marketplace. Even if there is 15-20 vendors, there is still a wide variety of things to see. Although, I personally don't go for the vegetable/fruit vendors like many of the other folks. They have different vendors that sells organic, natural and/or homemade products. I love supporting small businesses of jams, baked goodies, homemade dog treats, sauces, natural soap bars, and real gemstones. There's a few who would criticize the price but please keep in mind, you don't know the reality of costs associated with that business. Prices reflect on materials and time spent on researching, creating, testing, and marketing the product. I am sure vendors try to make it as cheap as possible. As blunt as it is, you either take it or leave it. read more

Yeah...being new to the area, We thought going to the farmers market would be a good idea. The Good: Friendly vendors, lots of parking and not too crowded. The Disappointing: Two fruit and vegetable vendors. One with over priced strawberries, the other with a better selection but none attracted us. Other wise items were speciality foods like jam, jerky, and bakery items. I'm sure they were good but I'm looking for something to buy that appeals to me. I liked a carrot cake but it was $9 and didn't seem like a good value. and I had to ask the guy the price twice. There is apparently a no pricing policy. None of the vendors had prices marked. You have to ask them. Food Booths and Food Trucks: The vegan Mexican booth had pics but no prices and disinterested staff. I'm assuming that if there is no price marked then it will be over priced. But I could be wrong. I just want to see what I can get (does it come with rice and beans?) and how much will it cost. There was a caribbean jerk truck. What were they selling? What was the price? Guy's get a sign to draw the customers in. The other truck had a small hand written sign and a good price for lumpia. Do they have vegetarian items? That wasn't on the sign. I don't know...my wife wasn't into it either. Just don't expect fruits and veggies that you can stock upon for the week. Brunch from food trucks is not likely to happen either. At least we gave it a try. read more

Best real farmer's market in Las Vegas. There are not a lot of farmers in Las Vegas, but those that do farm locally come here to sell their goods. You have lots of produce, honey, chicken and duck eggs as well as locally raised beef. read more

Its cool to visit this place and see what vendors have to offer....I liked the Bon Breads booth and the 100% pomegranite juice was the $hizzzzz...... This Farmer's Market is A-OK.....for Las Vegas. If I found this market in Seattle, Cleveland, or Austin I would rate it a one or two, but Vegas has slim pickings for markets. The highlight of this market for me is that owner of King's Sausage said he comes once a month. Bringing pierogies close to home for me is a huge selling point. This is the main reason that I'll return to the market. There was also a local taco place selling tamales and I won't pass on that either. Outside of the prepared foods that I love there are a limited number of stands. There were a couple of stands with fresh produce, a seasoning stand, a vegan bakery, a coffee spot, Winder Farms produce delivery, local honey, and a person selling handmade wood cutting boards. I'm not sure that there is enough here to draw me in regularly, but I could see stopping in about once a month. I'll come back when I can get pierogies and grab some fresh produce at the same time. read more

This market is very small but it's very consistent it's always hears every Sunday. The reason why I come here is for my face cream. There's a woman that sells all kinds of CBD products her company is called the aromatherapy garden. Perfect products for aging skin. I've purchased hot meals here before also fresh organic vegetables. There's all kinds of vegan pies cookies and cakes. I just don't buy sweets. My only complaint is that I wish it was bigger I'm used to the Los Angeles farmers markets that take a few hours to walk through. :) read more

fresh52 - Best!! - Farmers Market Near Me

I love living in Henderson, all the good food is so much closer, including good food to cook! Like fresh veggies, fruits, and of course shaved ice at the fresh52. This in my opinion is one of the top 3 farmers markets we have. They have options like fresh made juices, local made jerky, salsas, honeys, jams, and of course fruits, vegetables, and herbs. This particular week they had an awesome photographer that sold some super unique NFL pictures. We actually picked up 3 of them. Honestly I would give this place 5 stars, but I've been before and the consistency isn't ALWAYS up to par. Never ever bad, but sometimes not as good as this time. Also, Oso Ono shaved ice sure did fill the shoes of Sno Ono quite well. Impressed, and happy to see them at the market. I will be returning at least on a monthly basis. read more

Gets big ole ONE star. SMALL. I drove from NW Vegas out to Henderson for this sorry excuse for a farm market. Lets talk about the prices! OMG! These vegetables better give me an orgasm for what I paid. One red onion and three medium sized tomatoes... $12.00 that's right! I could have sponsored an Ethiopian village for a month. I heard strawberries were $15.00. Hint: Go to Smiths they are $2.50 and sponsor an underprivileged village with the change. Honey for a regular sized jar was $16.00 or a slightly bigger jar for $28.00. Are you kidding me? Anyway, I should have said no to the vegetables but I was too embarrassed. I thought I was getting deals, isn't that how farmer's markets work? Cut out the middleman? I need to be educated obviously! If I want to overpay I can go to albertson's . I did score 5 ears of white corn for $2.00. read more

Finally tried out this itty bitty farmer's market today and came out with a gigantic sweet potato that resembles a big snail ($3) from Gilcrease Orchard's booth, and a jar of natural strawberry jam from New Canaan Farm ($10). I was hoping for more vendors. The items are still priced pretty high in my opinion. At Gilcrease Orchard, a small basket of fruit, whether it contains sweet potatoes, pears, apples, or 2 eggplants, it is priced at $3. We also tasted some Jerky but didn't get any as I am trying to lower my salt intake. It's an OK farmers market, but will not be returning. read more

One of the better farmers markets in Vegas in my opinion. Has more foot traffic than a lot of the other ones in town, only problem is that because it's in a parking lot with little to no shade it gets very hot in the Vegas Summers. It's too much for our 4 legged friends so don't plan to bring your dogs during the summer! read more

This is an A-OK experience - friendly vendors, more variety than I expected, and a convenient location. I think it is cool that it operates year-round. I just cannot see this as the most amazing thing ever because I have been to such amazing farmers markets like Portland and San Diego recently. However, we did end up with some great things. Eric R., who has always viewed my taste for tea on a daily basis as odd, enjoyed the iced tea sample at Grandma Shirley's Tea booth, and said he would like some! So I purchased for him this tea blend (it had orange peel and peach flavors), and also got for myself Coconut Crave and Black Jasmine with vanilla. We ended up at the Snack Shack, run by some nice folks originally from Alabama, and I purchased the dried kiwi I read about recently on Yelp, dried pears, and dried pineapples. The prices were really good. I would probably go back in the future - we did not get a chance to try the olive oil booth because it was crowded. Also, the Bon Bread Company that I tried at the Molto Vegas Market was there, and they had pretzel bread but they even admitted it was hard to keep them from condensing so I didn't get any. read more

This was a spur of the moment idea and although it looks good, it's not diet friendly. I love a good outdoor market and this a small assortment of booths, everything from bakery goods, to fruits and veggies. But, there are too many tempting items that are just full of sugar and I must watch my sugar. My husband and I are constantly watching out for that and it's not that we do not eat sugar, but most of the time we save it for a special time, this was not one of them. What we saw did look inviting and very worth a return trip, on a day when sugar doesn't matter. I wish it would grow and get even bigger, but then again, we do live in a desert and not too many fresh veggie farms around here! read more

Its not a huge market, but i like it like that. I go there to get fresh fruits and veggies, and thats pretty much it. Lately I have been trying to food vendors. Most of the vendors there sell healthy or vegan alternatives, juices and desserts. I LOVE it!! Anything to help the little farmer. Id rather give my money to them than some big corp that produces gmo food. I wish there were more markets like this going on. I will be there next Sunday! read more

I'm officially giving up on "Farmer's Markets" in Las Vegas. This was my second attempt of Farmer's Markets last weekend. After experiencing the huge FAIL that was the Summerlin Farmer's Market I thought I would try this one because it was a whole lot closer to my home. Bad, bad, bad, all bad. Step your game up Las Vegas, like seriously. The Farmer's Markets here are not even close to being up to par. I said this in my other review as well, stick to Whole Foods/Trader Joes. read more

My husband and I just went to this "farmer's market" and got accosted by some woman because my husband was playing with his new camcorder - just following me around while I was shopping for fruit. She said he couldn't film because the people there didn't want him to. And because it was on "private property". What the hell. Then she gave me shit because I had my employee card that gets me in my place of employment on my purse (I work at the RJ in the SALES DEPARTMENT) Im not a fucking reporter. And she kept telling me to "show my credentials" - WE AREN'T THE PRESS LADY. Seriously communists - get over yourselves telling me I can't be there just because I work for the RJ??? IF YOU DIDNT WANT PRESS YOU ARE NOW GETTING A SHITTY REVIEW ON YELP FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT HOW MY HUSBAND AND I WERE TREATED HERE. read more

Residents of the desert are used to deprivation--used to thirsting desires that won't be quenched anytime soon. One of those thirsts: fresh vegetables in the desert. Fairly straightforward, right? It's a desert and, by definition, the climate cannot support significant agriculture. Even though we know this, valley residents consistently complain about the quality of produce in the grocery stores and the lack of a farmer's market. With that said, know that I am reluctantly giving Fresh52 Farmer's market only 3 stars. However, the middle of the road ranking is purely based on lack of quantity, not quality. There are only 2-3 farmer's stands at the market: 1 offering multiple vegetables, 1 selling blueberries and 1 selling asparagus and strawberries. However, the small number of produce vendors that are at Fresh52 offer fresh, crisp and delicious vegetables (we bought mushrooms, asparagus and brussel sprouts) and delicious blueberries and strawberries. Based on the high quality of the farms that do have tents at Fresh52, I'll keep coming every Sunday, nursing the hope that repeat business will encourage more southern California vendors to come out to Henderson with great produce. read more

fresh52 - Owner, Don - Farmers Market Near Me

As Jennifer said, this is not what I picture when I hear that there's a Famers Market- especially not when it's organized by Fresh52, who are usually pretty good about actually having a variety of farm vendors. Unfortunately the selection here is pretty dismal, and it's mostly artisan goods (olive oils, some nut butters, local honey) and food booths (clam chowder, tamales, juices, thai food plates) with one or two produce vendors. I would not go out of my way to come here. Not much variety, pretty small group of businesses represented. read more

This is not what I think of when I want to go to a Farmer's Market. Its an outdoor market with not much to buy. Great to walk around, but there isn't much here. I've been 3 times and didn't find anything that I wanted to buy. Normally, I buy produce, fresh flowers, and maybe something like honey or great olive oils. The vendor selection is minimal. I'm used to the markets in California so I may be comparing this to something that doesn't exist out here, but I was so underwhelmed. Plus prices seem high for what you get with some vendors. read more

Cool little farmer's market on Eastern at Richmar. We come here every couple of weeks to peruse and buy random things, e.g., a honey bear, almonds in a carrot shaped baggie, button bookmark or earrings. Generally, there's fresh fruit and vegetable booths (some from CA farms), Winder farms, nuts, some jewelry, tea, soaps, salsa and a great bread booth (the name of the vendor escapes me). Yes, it's small, but with time and/or a greater crowd, I think more booths will pop up (as we saw with the Fall Harvest Festival). In the meantime, it's a great little market to support in the 'hood. Parking hasn't been an issue, at least for me. There are lots of cars in the lot, but I can usually park within five minutes. read more

I'm a sucker for farmer's markets. I mean, when I travel, I hunt these bad boys down to marvel at the wonders of farms, and the people who grow fresh, pesticide-free, delicious food. Since the Vegas markets tend to be super-far from where I live, I was excited to hear that a farmers market was finally coming to my 'hood. Fresh52 is located in a parking lot of a busy strip-mall, populated by the White Pepper Grill, Fado's, the Paul Mitchell Hair School and Salon, and a plethora of other businesses. Unfotunately, there were only about 15 or so tents at this market... but, based on the quality of the vendors (there was a strawberry farmer from Cali on hand with the tastiest berries I had in a long time -- damn me for buying 4 lbs of those suckers from Costco the day before!), I have a feeling this market will grow and blossom. Support farmers and visit soon!!! read more

Small Farmer market but awesome raw honey and Fred's bread and pastry , it worth it to visit every week.

My wife went to Fresh 52 and bought the best corn on the cob I've ever had and I've had a lot over my lifetime. She also bought berries and cherries and I'm not a big fan of those, but these were an eye opener for me, VERY TASTY & FRESH!!! I would rather get it fresh from the farmers than let it go to the supermarket and all the hands that touch it. We will be back at FRESH 52 this Sunday for sure!!! CHECK this out, its free and its more than just food. FRESH52.com read more

Small but efficient is the best way to sum up this farmers market. They have some pretty decent vendors. My favorites are the desert honey and Bee pollen, the strawberries, and the pound cake lady. (I know those aren't the actual names). The last time I was here I got the biggest potatoes that I have ever seen. They made some awesome baked potatoes. The skin was tasty and didn't have that weird soap taste that store bought potatoes have. The strawberries were juicy and didn't rot after being in the fridge for a day. There is also a lady that specializes in herbal teas and spices. She located inside of the Urban Grill, you don't want to miss her. The teas are custom and focus on key things such as relaxation and sleep, or even a better sex drive (who knew). read more

I've been wanting to check out local farmers markets for awhile now and heard about this one just in time since it's only on Sundays. I was quite excited to go but once we got there it was a little disappointing. There was only maybe one whole row of booths and most were services or crafts and not actual fruit and vegetable stands. We did however buy a few things such as fresh breads and honey sticks which were really great but I went there wanting some good fruit and left empty handed. It was also quite a drive, it took us a good hour to get there from where we live and it really wasn't worth it. If they expand I would definitely check it out again but for now I'm good with just this one trip. read more

I really like that they do not have nitrate at this market. I do wish they had more produce though. I was not too impressed with the selection. I am really big on fresh produce and love to support farmer markets. The people are beyond friendly so the experience is worth it in itself. I picked up pomegranate juice and strawberries from this one lady. I highly recommend stopping at her station. She was the only one selling it. She was very friendly and explained how to maintain my strawberries to get them to last longer. If they get more produce, I would probably give it more stars. Not a one stop shop. read more

So this past Saturday the BF and I decided to go over to Eastern to check out the small farms market we see set up from time to time, since it was nice out. The booths include crafts as well as fresh baked goods and produce. Though it is a small farms market I felt the selection and variety was pretty good. The prices were great as well. Another nice aspect was an art booth set up for the children to interact at. I think I will be hear at least once a month for the great atmosphere, fresh produce, and crafts. It is a great idea for a casual Saturday activity. read more

Coming from California I was expecting a bit more than 5 vendors who probably has been better days - I don't know if it was the weather or simply the fact that farmers market isn't a thing here in the desert. Pros - love the earrings and jewelry at the Inclined to Create booth, and the preservative-free salsa at Miguel's booth Cons - it's small and they lack a variety of produce vendors. By any other city's standards, this farmers market is a sad showing. But I was so surprised to stumble onto this little market after an amazing brunch at Republic Kitchen, that I feel generous and am giving it 2.5 stars. I was able to pick up some radishes, tomatoes and strawberries. Only the tomatoes were sub-par. There were a lot of none-food booths, i.e., gourmet dog treats, essential oils. I only go to farmers markets for the produce so I barely glanced at these, but some of the stuff looked cool. Also saw some cute jewelry stands. In terms of produce, you'll be sorely disappointed by the fact that there are only a few booths if you go for the garden offerings. read more

I have been the to fresh52 farmers market two times now. The first time was the first week it opened. And the second time being the grand opening they had last week. First off, I am happy there is a farmer's market fairly close to where I live and in the same complex of my workplace! It is located in the Sansone Center in the parking lot near Black Pepper Grill. This is my first farmer's market that I have been to in Las Vegas, so I have nothing to compare it to. I guess, I had anticipated much more fresh food stands. There is one vendor that sells a bunch of different veggies and fruits (seems like the bigger of the veg/fruit stands). Their prices are higher than I'd like to pay (would much rather go to Sunflower market) but the times I have gone, I bought a few things. Always fresh and delicious. There is a woman there that sells freshly made hummus, babaganoush, tabouli, salsas, etc! They are soooo delicious! I bought the olive hummus the first time around and bought the tabouli the second time. She is always offering free samples of her products. I tried her newest creation, a thai noodle salad. Yummy! There are other vendors selling crafts, shave ice, fresh breads, etc. I haven't really checked those out just because I'm always there for fresh fruits and veggies. But next time, I will definitely check them out. I was hoping that the cajun food truck would've been there last sunday.. but I may have just gone there too early (around 10am). Overall, I am glad they have started this, we definitely need more of these little markets around town! read more

I love this little market. It's true that there aren't a large number of fruit and vegetable stands like I'm used to but... we are in the desert. Not a heck of a lot grows out here! I think that as it grows more vendors will start coming in but for now, I'm thrilled to be able to get lovely fresh strawberries, corn, green beans and potatoes. Bon Breads is fantastic, the only one I haven't loved so far is the country Italian and that's jut because I prefer bread with more texture. They have the best rye I've ever had, a nice rosemary batard and a good whole wheat. Also, check out the Napa Valley olive oil booth while he's still around, it'll disappear for a while when it gets really hot. Besides the oil blends and amazing balsamic, he's got some great grilling sauces as well. The chipotle barbecue sauce is perfect for anything you can toss on the grill. read more
