I'm sorry. What? I asked if this was policy now. If there was signage. Because if there's signs about policies, I accept them. But there wasn't. He just didn't want to give me the change. I demanded it. He said he'd have to talk to his manager. Really? They made me wait 15 minutes (give or take), and then when he finally came back, he dropped it in my hand with a snarky attitude. This was the second time this happened, but the first time the older lady only took about 3 minutes to come back, and when I held my hand out to collect the change, she brushed past me and dropped it on the counter. So, good food or not, I will no longer patronize the business. I'd been getting takeout regularly for a while - but if they'd rather lose $12.66 a week over 34 cents, then by all means, LTA, stand your ground. If you love the place, food, and so on, then you should continue to go - just make sure to have exact change, pay by CC, or accept that they will become Karen-esque drama queens about the coins.
