This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I believe you can find comparable or better-quality treatments elsewhere for a similar price. One of my biggest concerns is the tipping structure. The suggested tip appears to be calculated based on the supposed full retail value of the treatment rather than what you actually pay through the membership. For example, if a treatment is valued at $1,800, a 10% suggested tip would be $180, on top of a $169 monthly membership. That felt excessive and unrealistic to me. I originally agreed to the membership because I wanted to give the full experience a fair chance. However, about two months ago, I clearly told the manager that I was unhappy with the results and did not intend to renew. Today, during what was supposed to be my final session, I was told I could not cancel because I had not provided seven days' notice. This was especially frustrating because I had already communicated my intention to cancel directly to management two months earlier. Between the results, the pricing, the tipping expectations, and the cancellation experience, I left feeling that the entire process was more focused on collecting additional money than customer satisfaction. The front desk staff treated me like I was the crazy person when I asked to be moved to a chair farther away from her. The facial itself was fine. I know businesses can't prevent rude customers from being their customers, but they also can do something to prevent the rude customers from ruining the experience for others, and this place did not do that. I won't be back.
