His price was fair, and he even followed up a few days later just to check in on some details. From start to finish he treated our project with incredible care and thought. Today was install day and Ed showed up on time, did the job perfectly, cleaned up and even fixed some loose screws when he put the switch plates back on. Honestly, it couldn't have gone any smoother. And our living room accent wall looks so good I can't stop looking at it. It's truly perfect. I will absolutely hire Blue Sky again!

Caulking on everything, everything uneven and lopsided, different sizing throughout the whole thing, gaps.. just awful. I can't even tell you I'd he was good at wallpaper because I didn't want him to do that after the bad job on everything else. We had to hire someone else to redo the whole thing, which they did for 1/4 the price and did a great job. He also made me pay him $100 here and $100 there, like he didn't have enough to cover the parts he should have been able to. He'd say "just pay me the first half" then he'd ask for more money because he had to pay bills. He documented it all and didn't steal $ or anything but it just wasn't super professional. So if you hire this company, make sure they are only doing wallpaper.

John helped me save money in avoiding a difficult-to-install "hand printed" expensive paper with a selvage edge. Instead I found a gorgeous print for my accent wall from a company in England that allowed for the repeat pattern to simply butt up against the edge perfectly. You cannot see the seams and friends compliment the results. John and his helper left my home tidy after the install. I was happy to appropriately compensate for their master labor, since installing paper well really is an art.

We were at our wits end with this wallpaper removal project--several large rooms of ancient wallpaper stuck onto unprimed drywall. Trying it on my own, I was able to finish a 2' strip in 3 hours! At that point I bit the bullet and sought help. I got Bob's number from a friend who had hired him in the past and was very pleased with his service. After giving us what seemed a reasonable quote for the work, he told us exactly when he would arrive and exactly when he planned to finish the job. He is a man of his word--he showed up promptly every day, and finished the job on time, despite it being a nightmare job by anyone's standards--according to Bob was one of the "worst he'd ever seen!" Despite this, he stuck to his word and to the agreed-upon quote, working methodically until the job was done, and cleaning up the site thoroughly after each work day. We've rarely been so pleased with a contractor. Well worth the money! We would recommend Bob to anyone. You will be glad you called him!
