You wouldn't know it from the plaza that it's located in, but this venue, with several halls, held us together comfortably--with ample room for dining, drinking, dominoes, and our favorite "d" word: dancing! They offer great wedding, Quinceaneras, Sweet 16s and other packages for your special event. We were allowed to bring our own store-bought appetizers. For the main entrée we were served Cuban-style Arroz Imperial, maduros, Caesar salad, and hot bread & butter. The dessert was one of the best, if not the best Buttercream cake (which tasted like a dry version of Tres Leches). Best I've ever had; anywhere! And everyone was raving about the Open Bar. Speaking of, I hope the owners expand their vision and open a banquet hall here in Broward--I'm definitely a fan!

The space itself is very aesthetically pleasing, thanks largely to the nicely done ceiling drapery, the dance floor is great, and there is plenty of table seating (with white tablecloths... classy!) around the perimeter of the floor. The parking situation perhaps isn't ideal, as flow into and out of the grass lot across the one-way street can be a little awkward, but it's not a big problem.

I had approximately 130 invites sent out, note that Club Tropical can fit that many people more than comfortably and you'd still have plenty room for a dance floor. Elvis coordinated the 3-course Haitian Caribbean meal. My family is Haitian-Bahamian and the feedback was the food was spot on! I'd agree with that sentiment, the food was delicious! He took his time in going through decoration options down to the dinner napkins and what was all included in my top package. Not only decor, but the floral arrangements were included and coordinated too. He was such a blessing in helping me honor my mother's life I am forever thankful for him and his team! He exceeded my already high expectations. Elvis added extra pieces to my event that truly set it off and set it a part. My family said it will be a night they will never ever forget and they're so glad we didn't go with a traditional funeral. Special thanks to his event coordinator, Caroline, who basically waited on me hand and foot as the host to make sure I could do what all I needed to do as smoothly as possible and that the event transitioned perfectly. You can't have a party with nobody attending. Real life happens for which Kubo wants to take zero responsibility. At first we were flat out rejected for a reschedule, then we were offered a date that didn't work and were told we can't take a premium weekend date as they're losing money. In the end we had to cancel the event with ZERO refund (we requested even a small refund). Nothing was done! Beware of the trap of this place! Never again.

We finally decided to try it out and honestly, I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and patient with us. That was huge because we definitely had a LOT of questions about the rug making process lol. Nobody ever made us feel rushed or annoying, and they explained everything really well. I also loved the huge variety of yarn colors they had to choose from. Besides tufting, they also offer pottery and other fun activities, which makes the whole place feel really creative and unique. The studio itself was such a vibe too. They offered complimentary drinks while we worked on our rugs, which was a really nice touch, and they even have a little coffee shop inside where you can buy coffee and other specialty drinks while you're there. The overall experience was awesome. They walk you through everything step by step, so even beginners can do it without feeling overwhelmed. I also really liked that if you don't finish your rug, you can leave it there and come back another day to continue working on it. 1000% recommend this place if you're looking for something different and fun to do!

We had over residents to an annual party. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable, truly a five-star operation. Absolutely no issues by the members at this affair. The food was very good. There were hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, and ribs. Side dishes included corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. A separate condiment table was set up with the usual fixings. Mustard, ketchup, relish, mayonnaise, sour kraut, shredded cheese and more. They thought of everything. Separate tables with a bartender (no alcohol) were set up with ice, bottled water, and cans of iced tea, and a variety of sodas. Later a dessert table was set up with chocolate chip cookies and brownies. The food was delicious and there was plenty left for anyone that wanted more. I'm glad it was held inside with air conditioning. This is July in Florida and eating outside wouldn't have been fun. I saw that my friends already had a table when we got there. Clyde and I joined them. There were chafing dishes set up in the back of the room. People were called up in groups by the number on their table. We were at table number 31 so we had a bit of a wait. No problem. The serving line went quickly. When our table was called we got in line. I noticed that there were servers dishing out the food. Not only does that prevent people from overloading their plates and the serving utensils aren't being handled by everybody. Even though we were at one of the last tables to be called there was still plenty of food. It didn't look like they had run out of anything. The food was very good. Even if there's no recycle bins in sight recyclable items could have been separated into trash bags. I know it takes extra effort to recycle but I think it's important.
