I had a…read moregroupon that I have already purchased and at the time of check out the lady was like, oh but we don't take those.. and tried to sell me the whole season of pictures as a package and told me there was no other way to buy the pictures.. when i told her I wasn't gonna buy anything because of the way she presented it and I knew she was lying because I've purchased pictures there before and I know that wasn't right she started making up different options for me. I felt pushed to buy something I kept telling her I don't need and also after spending my money on a Groupon she tell me I couldn't use it I think that was not right and I should escalate the issue, i read the description of the offer to her and pointed out that what she was telling me was nowhere found on the restriction and descriptions of the offer she goes like but you know my time and my work cost more that just that.. like what!? Really As much as I like The studio and the quality of their work I feel that the should hire more experienced professionals and know how to treat the customers. Not a good experience overall. We had about 20 friends and family over and wanted a mix of candid shots, family portraits, and photos of the ceremony itself. Ryan captured everything beautifully -- the big moments, the small emotional details, and the natural energy of the day. The only reason I came across Supanik Photography was because I got an email that I won a free…read moreboudoir session after attending a bridal show. Spoiler alert: the email was a trick. I was super excited and quickly scheduled my photo session with Bruce. I'm paying for my wedding myself so this prize was a huge relief with so many other expenses biting into my tight budget. The photo session was slightly awkward but Bruce did do his best to make us feel comfortable. Once we were finished taking the photos and I asked when I'd be able to see them, Bruce finally revealed his elusive price sheet. Products ranged from $200-$2000 for anything from digital downloads to expertly crafted Italian photo boxes. Yes, the products were nice but I was under the impression that I'd at least get to keep a few low-res photos from my experience. I explained to Bruce that I didn't anticipate these high costs and that my budget is already so tight as-is. He told me that it's expensive to run a photography studio and he couldn't afford to be very flexible with his prices. Rather than hiding these expensive products, they should have been included upfront with the initial email so already vulnerable girls don't waste their time on an experience that they ultimately can't afford. After working up the courage to take boudoir photos, of course girls will want to have access to the finished product...I just wish the prize and any fine print or terms and conditions were more clear. The icing on the cake was when I found a Groupon for a photo session with Bruce which included a password-protected online gallery for $39, and asked if he would honor that price for me. Since we had already taken the photos, I'd just be paying for the gallery access so my friends could help me decide which, if any, photos to purchase. He lied and told me that there was no digital gallery, even though it was clearly an inclusion of the deal, and that was when I decided that I didn't want to give Bruce any of my money. I'm sure the photos turned out great but I'll never see them.
