The only reason I came across Supanik Photography was because I got an email that I won a free…read moreboudoir session after attending a bridal show. Spoiler alert: the email was a trick. I was super excited and quickly scheduled my photo session with Bruce. I'm paying for my wedding myself so this prize was a huge relief with so many other expenses biting into my tight budget. The photo session was slightly awkward but Bruce did do his best to make us feel comfortable. Once we were finished taking the photos and I asked when I'd be able to see them, Bruce finally revealed his elusive price sheet. Products ranged from $200-$2000 for anything from digital downloads to expertly crafted Italian photo boxes. Yes, the products were nice but I was under the impression that I'd at least get to keep a few low-res photos from my experience. I explained to Bruce that I didn't anticipate these high costs and that my budget is already so tight as-is. He told me that it's expensive to run a photography studio and he couldn't afford to be very flexible with his prices. Rather than hiding these expensive products, they should have been included upfront with the initial email so already vulnerable girls don't waste their time on an experience that they ultimately can't afford. After working up the courage to take boudoir photos, of course girls will want to have access to the finished product...I just wish the prize and any fine print or terms and conditions were more clear. The icing on the cake was when I found a Groupon for a photo session with Bruce which included a password-protected online gallery for $39, and asked if he would honor that price for me. Since we had already taken the photos, I'd just be paying for the gallery access so my friends could help me decide which, if any, photos to purchase. He lied and told me that there was no digital gallery, even though it was clearly an inclusion of the deal, and that was when I decided that I didn't want to give Bruce any of my money. I'm sure the photos turned out great but I'll never see them.

I hired her at the very last minute for branding photography and she not only confirmed the booking right away, she even scouted a dream location for the photoshoot as well. She handled all the logistics and made the setup a breeze. It went from a nightmare situation that I had been dealing with for months to an instant problem solved the minute I booked with Nakita. (Thank you Nakita!!!) She is extremely friendly and kind, and is very prompt with communication which is a must for a photographer. Brides, I see she does wedding photography too, and I would highly recommend her for all your photography needs! The best part about her is her photography style: she is into very natural lighting and minimal editing that compliments the natural you. That is so important! The worst thing is getting back your photos and you don't even recognize yourself...that will never happen with Nakita! I employed "Skals IT" to speed up my laptop and fix the "no sounds" out of speakers or headphones…read moreissue it recently had. Had happened in the last two days, were working and just suddenly stopped working. But did work to an external source like extended screen. The good - he accessed my laptop by remote connection and he cleared a lot of bloatware with CC Cleaner free version. And did get my laptop to run better. But he couldn't get my sound to work on on speakers or headphones and after uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek drivers a few times, he stated that the sound-card must have failed on the laptop, which either requires a used motherboard to be fitted (because new aren't available) or buy a new laptop. The bad: So I did some digging and found an app called "Fortrek for windows". I paid for one year's service and "Fortrek" went right through my laptop, cleared up more junk on it AND updated every driver that was out of date. It rebooted my laptop after all processes and guess what? My sound is now working on the speakers and on the headphones perfectly.
