Saturday night was a disaster. It first started with a call at 5pm to let me know the car I ordered broke down and I had to get a different limo. Ok, no big deal, but calling four hours before to tell me this is ridiculous. The 'second' car was supposed to pick us up at 9pm so I called at 8:50 to see when it will be here only to be told the limo got into an accident, but there will be another car to pick us up in 15-20 minutes. I figured, ok, no big deal. 20 minutes goes by and no phone call so I call the dispatcher and after being on hold for 15 minutes (yes, 15 minutes) I was told the second car you sent also got I to an accident. At this point I thought I was being pranked but it's now 9:45, and we are running really late. The dispatcher was really nice about everything but I mean how do two cars get into an accident and the original car I ordered break down. The third car showed up and the driver was really nice about everything that happened. Unfortunately, there was no champagne (which I knew already), but the car had half empty glasses of liquor and drinks. Yet again, not the drivers fault, he was filling in since the other cars were not available. In the end, I know 'shit' happens, but three cars into this debacle, and arriving 45 minutes late in Brooklyn, means I will probably not use your service again and will not recommend you to anyone. At some point, there is no way, two cars got into accidents. I just don't believe it, you were probably overbooked and I got left out in the 'rain', literally Update. 9/10/18. The company called me and apologized for everything that happened on Saturday night and took half of the cost off my bill. That is what I call customer service folks. I will call them next time. But I might give them a one hour heads up. read more

SO glad I ended up using Luxor! I just wanted to treat someone with a town car to take them to dinner for a significant birthday, and found Luxor online. I made the reservation on their website, and communicated completely via email. Their customer service is outstanding -- I had to make a few changes to my reservation, and they responded quickly and efficiently, keeping in communication regularly as well. Our driver was early, and I received a text letting me know where he was. He was super nice, and the car was spotless and very comfortable. I also felt that it was a reasonable price, particularly having compared to other companies. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend them! read more

I recently used Luxor Limo for an all-day work event. I shopped around the NYC area for competitive pricing and Luxor was definitely willing to compromise on pricing. I spoke with Anthony, who was able to give me 10% off the deal. I booked only a week in advance with no issues. We got the 24 passenger minibus for 12 hours. We traveled round-trip to / from NYC, to a few different stops upstate New York. Our total price was $1900, which included tolls, tip, and tax! This was also a selling point compared to other companies I called. The bus was spotless! So comfortable. It looked brand new. There was an amazing sound / tv system. This bus had limo-type seating in the back, and the front of the bus had 3 tables with 4 captain seats. So spacious and comfortable. The bus also came stocked with bottled water, canned soda, and ice buckets for other food or beverages. The driver was also courteous and drove safely. An A+ experience. Will definitely book again for our next big event! read more

If I could put less than one star I would. 400$ ride to the airport. Driver shows up at 450pm for a 415 pm reservation. They tell me when I ask for the free ride they so proudly display on their website that clearly states 15 min late =free ride. that that doesn't matter and they'd give me 40$ off. I gave them a hard time cause I want them to make right on their business and give me the ride for free. They laugh at me then say okay 100$ off. And then they start with the excuses. Traffic etc. none of that is anyone's problem but the company providing the service. I would NEVER recommend using this service. The car wasn't in good condition the driver was messy and laughed when I said I wasn't paying. Very very poor service. BEWARE DO NOT PAY WITH CARD BEFORE HAND. They will rob you as they did me. read more

Very bad and not accurate as it says! I booked for a big vehicle with "meet and greet services"! There was no one at all! I called them to find out!!! I was told "sorry we don't have this service today" read more

Used Luxor for a limo from LGA to NY this morning and they were great. The driver Nader was excellent. Used them to send someone to Newark airport this evening. The driver Jose Rafael came in a stretch limo and wouldn't bring it down the narrow street (that other limos regularly come down) so waited in the main street - without letting me know. Then when I walked to the main street and found him he started shouting at me about the size of his vehicle and how he had earlier parked across the front of the lane and the doorman had of course told him to move as he was blocking it - as if it was my fault. Shame that one guy makes such a bad impression on a company read more

I tried booking 3 times with this company. They said my credit card was declined. I call AMEX several times and they kept telling me it was not declined. Then Luxor kept charging me over and over. The luxor people are RUDE and not helpful. I would recommend walking to your destination then using them. They don't even deserve 1 star read more

We rented a 36 passenger from 6:30am till way past 9pm. Our driver was Ernesto. He arrived on time, was very courteous. The bus was very clean and looked brand new. The road conditions were bad where we were going (Hunter Mountain) due to the weather (a full on snow blizzard) but he was pretty good on the road. The reason I'm giving this a 4 is because I had called Luxor MULTIPLE times to let them know we wanted a vehicle with wi-fi. They assured me MULTIPLE times we would get one. We didn't get one. read more

My family and I used Luxor Limo from LGA into the city and back (at 4 am!) - and the experience was fantastic! The 8-passenger cars we were picked up in were clean and smelled fresh, the drivers were courteous and on-time (which was most important to us) and the price was exactly what they quoted - including the tip. When we return to NYC, we will definitely be calling Luxor Limo. Even their online reservation system functioned perfectly. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Thanks for the ride! read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. I went to check prices online for renting a Sprinter 14 passenger van, was quoted $404 + tolls. I decided to call in my reservation, to which I was told the price would be close to $600. I asked about the discrepancy, and he told me the online price was wrong, and it's $600. I asked why shouldn't I book online, and he said "I don't know, hold on". After about 3 minutes of holding, I booked online. They cancelled my reservation and sent me an email saying (in all caps): PRICE INCORRECT, CALLED FIRST AND WE TOLD HIM PRICE IS NOT CORRECT THEN TRIED TO BOOK IT ONLINE ANYWAYS How unprofessional is that? read more

I ordered a limo for my daughter's function in 2 months. I was given my reservation number by the person I talked to. I was also told to fill out the authorization form, and fax copies of my credit card and license. I did as asked but the fax did not go through 3 times. I called the company and got another number, that one did not work either. Today I got an email asking for the same authorization form. I emailed the issue so they told me to screenshot my License, Credit card copies with the form. What???? Who does that. Why would I send my info via the Internet to this company at this point. Not at all identity secure. I called to tell them I had to cancel. The gentleman told me there was a 25% cancellation fee. He told me that he would not charge me, I guess at that point they did not get my info in the first place. What a shame, they seemed like a professional company. To update: the company cancelled the order with no issue. read more

Found these guys through craiglist, and after using them, have mixed feelings. While I was able to get a favorable rate for the services contracted, you definitely get what you pay for. We used these guys for two airport trips, and a multi-limo loop service for a exclusive party, taking guests from the NY Hilton to Greenwich Village, rate at about $100 per hour, inclusive of tips, tolls and taxes. The trips to and from the airport were done in an older black 10 person, nice, but nothing to write home about @ $200 per. They used that same black stretch for our party, and added a stretch white Chrysler 300, which very nice. For the evening of party, the black car was on-time, with the white car being 40+ minutes late. The black car kept overheating, causing the drive to stop and prop up the hood to cool it off, burning valuable time and further delaying our loop times. Plus the drive in the white limo took his sweet ass time, taking 50-60 minutes for a loop that was taking us 20-25 minutes in taxi's and 30-35 with the black limo. In the end, they were late, burned excessive time with mechanical issues, wasted a ton of time while 'on-the-clock' and bailed out the minute the contract expired, despite the time that they still owed us. Next year, we will be looking for a different service for our corporate event needs. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. My friends and I attend the Belmont Stakes every year. After waiting over 3 hours for a train to Manhattan in 2014, I thought it would be a good idea to book a car service for after the race. I booked online and it was quite easy. That is the last good thing I have to say about this company. The driver was stuck in traffic and was unable to get us. Nobody called or attempted to contact me to inform me of this. I was told this when I called after waiting for the driver over a half hour past pickup time. After several attempts to reach the driver, he answered the phone and really had no idea where he was or how long it would take to reach us. After relaying this to dispatch (another phone call), the dispatcher tried to blame me for his driver getting stuck in post race traffic. Horrible customer service. I cancelled and was eventually refunded and ultimately ended up taking the train home. AVOID THIS COMPANY! read more

We weren't impressed. :(( While the booking procedure was effficient enough and price and car were okay, the rest wasn't. A special request that we submitted in the ordering form was not even met with an answer. And the driver was a total dissapointment. He spoke almost no English. He did not bother to offer to help with our heavy luggage. And he drove like a maniac! When we asked him to slow down at least a bit his barely comprehensible answer was that ... the other drivers made him agressive ... ...that that's the way it was going go be ... ... and that we should not worry ... So he did not change his reckless driving style one little bit. Mind you, he meant well. But it was an experience that we don't wish to repeat - at least not with this driver. read more

Punctuality was affected by traffic and detours, which I witnessed after pick up myself, so no dings there. Driver was polite, clean, helpful. The car was clean, fairly new. Also, the driver drove safely and I was very comfortable having my children in the car. One + + charge included everything: car, taxes, tolls, tip. You simply walk out when you reach your destination. I will book them again and will never call that poorly run 777-77_ 7 number again. read more

Pros: Driver was waiting when I got off the plane. Got upgraded to a Escalade. Cons: Driver never spoke one word to us. Walk to the car and never tuned around to see where we were. I would give them another chance next time i am in the city. read more

We booked a White Cadillac Escalade Stretch Limo (max. 20 people) for our wedding! The conditions of the limo was good inside and outside. I especially like the lighting in the car. His English was not perfect and I could see the company has provided a good training to him. It was an amazing & beautiful experience! read more

Made a trip to NYC and found this company. The driver contacted me prior to landing and let us know they were at the airport. I contacted the driver that we went into a different gate and he told us that he would be there on a couple of minutes and to be watching for an escalade with blinking hazard light which made it easy to spot him. Great and friendly driver and I was glad that I chose a car service. I do have them booked to take us to Jersey and I hope we get the same service as we got the first time. read more

Reserved a rear facing child seat, the seat arrived uninstalled, and the driver asked me to install it. Driver also did not assist or explain how to properly buckle our child in. For the $25 child seat charge, I expect this to be included. The drive to the airport was safe enough, but the driver was clearly frustrated and continued to honk at other drivers out of anger rather than for safety. Sent them a message including all of the above and they never replied. Extremely unprofessional. Do not recommend. read more

We used Luxor as our wedding night chauffeur, and they did a fantastic job! The driver was early and was wearing a nice suit, and the car was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. We had two stops over the course of several hours of post-wedding partying, and each time the driver was magically right outside. They were also great at communicating when earlier in the week I lost my wallet (!!) and had to call and switch payment methods at the last minute so they didn't try to charge a canceled card. We found ourselves in NYC a little longer than planned when our 9:00 am flight was cancelled & we were rebooked on a 2:30 flight. After reading some reviews on Yelp I decided to give Luxor Limo a call & see if they could give us a short sightseeing tour & take us to the airport. Within a few hrs a car picked us up at our hotel & loaded in ours bags & took us around Manhattan & Brooklyn then dropped us off right at the front door of the airport. My only complaint would be that the driver never talked. We were hoping to have someone tell us a little history, & had requested that when we reserved the car, but for last minute, he did take us wherever we wanted to go. read more

On a difficult day--snow, St. Patrick's--the driver was to the minute, and courteous, and helpful. The car was clean, and wholly presentable--SUV, since we did not need a "limo". My wife, the passenger to JFK, who expects the impeccable service of her native Austria, was pleased. The back office is easy to deal with, and pleasant, and well-organized. Price seems to me very reasonable. This will be our car company from now on. read more

First timing personally using a private car service... i was a little nervous and hesitant to how the experience would be but after using Luxor Limo, i am now a fan of their service! I had to go from LGA out to Stamford, CT and considering i did not know the area of my destination, i arrived safe & sound to my destination! That was a big relief. My driver was prompt and friendly at the pick-up, the vehicle was nice & clean and equipped with bottled water and mints and the experience was favorable. So favorable that I called Luxor Limo again for a reverse pick-up to take me back to LGA after my trip.. Same enjoyable experience; friendly driver, on-time, and got me back to LGA safe & sound! Next time i need a car service in the NYC/CT area, i will make sure to use them again! read more

I really appreciated that our driver was on time. I booked this pretty last minute so I was grateful that they were able to accommodate my needs. They were wonderful with communicating with me. I was confident that my ride was going to be on time and I really enjoyed the online chat as I booked my reservation. It was helpful to ask questions as I went. My driver wasn't the best driver...it was a 5:30 am pick up so luckily not many were on the freeway but a couple times he was busy with the navigation or map on his phone and not fully attentive to the road. I didn't ever fear for my life because the freeway was pretty open but I thought it was unprofessional to be doing that as you drive. It would have been better had he done that before we pulled away from the airport. I would use the company again but I hope my driver would do better than that. I really did enjoy that all the fees were done online... I didn't have to bother about tipping because it was already done. read more

We arrived 3 hours late. They tracked our flight and picked us up when we came in. We called when we landed and he was a block away (he can't wait at the Airport) had our name in the front window. From start to finish, Luxor Limo was wonderful. I called to get a quote for a couple hours of limo service for a friend's birthday and was so amazed by the professionalism and top service by the person I spoke with on the phone, in addition to the reasonable prices (came out to be $35/person for 2 hours), that I booked without even checking out competitors. I immediately got an email confirmation. Exactly on time, I received a call from the driver and we went outside to this beautiful stretch Lincoln Limo. The inside was very clean and the ceiling was changing colored lights. It was awesome and the birthday girl was very impressed. There were plenty of sodas and juices for us (BYOB) and there's a great stereo system if you can figure it out (i.e. hook up to anything with BlueTooth - we didn't figure it out, but decided it wasn't worth it, so listened to the radio). Our driver was careful and courteous the entire time, waited for us as we went in and out of places and informed us when our time was nearly up, so that we could be taken to our final destination. Overall, amazing experience and I would recommend Luxor Limo and use them again! read more

Boy oh boy, where do I begin.? This company has such a great website so I just knew that when I was looking for top of the line service for my grandfather's/pastor's funeral, Luxor would be the perfect company for our needs. Let's start with the representative by the name of Nessa. She booked and sent confirmation numbers via email for 3 vehicles. While sitting at the viewing (2/12/15) for my grandfather, I get a call telling me that I no longer had 3 cars and they could only provide me with 2. Really?! Of course I was very annoyed and asked for a referral for another company to get me the 3rd vehicle. I got a call back saying that they had located a 3rd vehicle for me, so I figured all would be well for the funeral. The night that I got home from the viewing, I called because I was told that I needed to send in the authorization form which was fine, but considering that my cousin (who's accountant called in the payment) was no longer available couldn't get the form to them since it was after business hours on her end, they told me that they would not send the cars out for the funeral (2/13/15) I was beginning to get upset. When I asked the reason why, Rayfor (who I later was told was only a dispatcher, not a manager like he told us and very rude after a while if I must say so myself) gave me some crap about fraud. I thoyght he was joking because they already took the deposit from the card provided. Not sure if you feel like reading on, but yes there is more. On the day of funeral, the cars arrived in time, but as they were pulling in, I noticed 3 different styles limousines and I was think "Oh Jesus!". Would they have sent Obama different makes and models of cars or the same type of car? Then what made it even worse was that one car had a paint job so bad that you would think my 2 year old niece did it and the other car looked like it swiped lots of other cars before it got to us; it was so scratched up. I would never use this company again, especially for multiple vehicles. Hopefully I will get a real manager when I call back on Monday (like Alexis advised me to do) when I give my verbal complaint. Who ever heard of that - a manager not being on site at all times? Lately, my motto has been from Forest Gump - "Life is like a bunch of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get". I would like to say Luxor is also like a bunch of chocolates (the reps/dispatchers/pretend managers and cars alike); you never know what you're gonna get." read more

Came in just after midnight to Newark. Only waited about 10 min for ride to pick me up. Chauffeur didn't seem to understand much English so he wasn't helpful in answering questions. I was not happy with my driver. He showed up on time and the car itself we fine. But, his driving was appalling. 02/08/15 If you can pay only in cash, DONT GIVE THEM YOU CARDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rented a limo for six hours for my birthday weekend, I was giving a price then told because of the amount ,when I get in the limo I would have to present ID and the credit card again to the driver. (NAMED MICHAEL ) AND SUPERVISOR ALEX DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. After giving my card to the driver and being returned home with in the time frame of the contract, Decided to check bank statement and saw the extra charge of $50.00 didnt pay it anymind took it as a fee for tolls which the tolls were no more than 7.50 each added up to be almost exact. Called my bank and found out while doing so this company ran my card eight times in four hours of dropping me home. Keep in mind I paid In full up front. $687.16 1st transaction attempt /3:55am 2/9/15 amount 130$ 2nd transaction attempt/3:56am 2/9/15 amount 85$ 3rd transaction attempt /3:57 am 2/9/15amount 140$ 4th transaction attempty/ 9:07am 2/9/15 amount 117.20$ and thats only 4 attempts out of the eight, you get the drift its worst then someone stealing your purse in the subway, I trusted them with my information and they attempted to rape my pockets. A trusted business will put all amounts included and even if they have to charge you after it would usually be one attempt under one amount, Not run the card to see what sticks and what we can steal. I took out a fraud claim and closed my account because of them, I will be pressing criminal charges if any other amounts show up after this. spoke to the supervisor and he acted as if its no big deal because the transactions was stopped by the bank anyway. But didnt mind to answer who, what, where or why this happened not a little shocked as if he does this on a regular. read more

Car Service does its job I hired a sedan and driver to take us from our home in the Hudson Valley to JFK. The car was clean and nice, the driver pleasant, but he didn't just drive forward and back, but also from side to side! As in, he kept switching lanes on the Thruway and playing "chicken" with other drivers who he declared were trying to "cut him off". I was vomiting by the time we got to the airport. So, beware driver Steve. And we were in plenty of time for the plane--it's not like he had to race the clock. Also, we could have lived without his stoner stories. Then, four weeks later, came home with another driver. Car was beautiful, he took care to get my specific soda and snack, I really liked the driver--but my impression was that he had never driven outside of NYC and Long Island. Although he was very professional, he didn't know that my drop-off address was 3 hours away from pickup! No one had warned the poor guy! So all right, I got what I needed, but I don't think very much of the company. If I can get another car service next time, I will. read more
