Three guests had informed the venue well in advance that they required Gluten free bread rolls. Unfortunately, this was obviously too difficult a request and the guests had not been given any food until well into the evening. There are only 4 female toilets to cater for 300 women. Definitely an OH&S issue and against Australian Regulations.

The sweeping staircase, stunning chandeliers, and gorgeous table settings have an air of elegance to them - whether at a debutante ball or wedding. Even the entrance and foyer to the building is beautiful, with a white exterior, and marble entrance. If you are planning a cinderella-esqe type event, where everything is traditional and sweeping grandeur then this is definitely the place for you. Both times I attended an event here, the food was delicious and the banquet service staff were great- they were especially good at keeping the drinks flowing, which is a big thumbs up for me.I just wish that the events held there could run later, though I guess that is the same with any function room -plus after they had kept the drinks flowing, it was probably better that I went home to bed anyway!

Our experience with Penny was smooth up until the wedding day, of which she did not deliver what…read morewas paid for. When we asked to remedy the situation, she blocked us on facebook,and delayed as long as she could before responding asking for more money from us unless we confirmed we would not review her. While we believe there is a sum of money owed to us, it means less to us than warning others of our severely poor experience during the wedding and after the wedding day. She has been unprofessional and rude quoting "Clearly you have nothing better to do with your life Mya" when I asked her when we would hear back from her. We have evidence from suppliers that she had authorized them to trespass on our property while we were on holiday even though we gave her explicit instructions to only come when we or people looking after our home were available. PLEASE hire a professional and be warned, Her business name was cancelled by ASIC in June 2016, to date, she fails to provide an official business address of service, and has never once apologized for being the cause of stress on our wedding day or that the result of her "styling" made our event less than perfect. I cannot fathom or speak more as to how much i wish I did it all myself or hired a more experienced company. We are so so disappointed and heart broken by the 'look' on our wedding day which looked sparse, plain and way too simple. I would hate for another bride to feel as I do now... heartbroken wishing i could do it all again
