I had a stylist that I had been working with for years...and trust me he was quite spendy, but Melissa.... There are not enough words to describe how much of a Godsend Melissa is...so let me try. She is an absolute professional, I have spent hundreds upon hundreds to get my hair done but she is better than any stylist I have ever worked with. She's attentive to your wants and needs but she will be honest and upfront with you because she wants you as a lifelong client. She takes the condition of your hair and will tell you in order to get it to this color, this is what is going to happen. She will NOT put herself to damage your hair. That's where the saying "patience is a virtue" comes into play. I absolutely admire her honesty and professionalism. She also explains the process in detail, why she uses certain types of products etc. she wants to educate her clients. She is incredibly knowledgeable and constantly is trying to perfect her trade. I got fed up n dumped purple over it. Anyways, John was able to strip all that and lighten my hair to the lightest shade possible that you can do in one day (mind you, he used the strongest lightener known to man). My hair ended up NOT brittle or melted, it was perfect after toner was added and this ash is the closest I've ever been to silver!! I bet another session will take me exactly where I want. I would even accept 18% / 20% / 22%, but 28% as the middle?! That's crazy.

While the people in the salon are quite nice, the person who cut my hair didn't speak English. She…read morebrought in someone to help with translation but that didn't help. In the end it was a complete waste of time. She barely cut 1/8 of an inch and was talking on the phone the entire time she cut ( so I don't think she was paying much attention to what she was doing). The very young girl who washed my hair had likely never done it before and wasn't trained- she didn't wash my entire head just the top. I am not even sure these folks are licensed. I am sure if you are friends and family members of the operators its's fine but I definately would not recommend this salon to anyone else. I will have to get my hair cut again in a week or two.
