After touring over 10 apartments, I made my mind immediately right after walking into the unit that Megan presented to me. I was very happy to see a more efficient and reasonable arranged space comparing to other apartments I have visited. The living room, bedroom and walk-in closet are a lot larger, not mention the lovely balcony, indoor swimming pool, saner, cinema room and lots of nice public space for all the residents. Finding an apartment that can meet one's expectations won't be easy! Durham Apartment has almost everything that I am looking for. I really appreciated the great help and wonderful service that Megan provided to me. It was such a pleasure working with her and her team. I am so looking forward to starting a new life at Durham Apartment in Edina, MN.

Moving in general is stressful, but moving cross country with only 2 weeks is beyond crazy…read more I found Devonshire online, and called to see if there were any available pet-friendly townhouses available. Luckily, there was 1 unit that was available for move in. Not being anywhere near Devonshire to view it (and they only have house plans online, not pictures), I was a bit nervous about moving. Morgann from Devonshire was beyond helpful! She answered my many emails promptly, and even went to the unit on her day off and took pictures to send me. When moving in, Morgann was there to greet me and help with everything. After moving in, there were a few small maintenance issues, and maintenance was prompt, polite, and very fast. After the calls, the office calls to check up to make sure everything was done correctly. Everything else has exceeded my expectations. The townhouses are large, there is a great pool, and the community is well maintained. This is a great, quiet community with amazing staff.

I had asked for a underground parking spot and a storage unit. I submitted my application (read the SCREENING DOCUMENT very carefully, it says if you are accepted, you only have 24 hours to back out and get your deposit), paid the application fee $40, admin fee $200 and $400 deposit on a Monday morning and by Monday afternoon I received the acceptance phone call. I was so excited! They said to watch my email and the lease document would come in a 5-7 days. I waited 10 days before calling to see what was going on with my lease. I was told that they received numerous applications that week and they would get mine out by the next day. When I received the lease, I noticed that there was no mention of the underground parking or storage. I sent an email back letting them know what was missed on the lease. No reply at all, no updated lease. By this time, I am getting nervous about renting here. My situation changed and I no longer needed to rent an apartment. When I called to see what needed to be done, I was told that I would not get any of my deposit back. READ THE SCREENING DOCUMENT! It is all there; you only have 24 hours to withdraw and get your deposit back.

Anything south of Bloomington wasn't an option and anything north was also not an option. And the apartment community we wanted to be in was some place that would be quiet, has friendly neighbors, close to freeways and stores, and close enough to family. After stopping in at a couple other apartment communities, we drove past Poplar Bridge and then decided to stop in. We spoke to Dena, and she was an absolute sweetheart. Loved her sense of humor, her friendly demeanor, and her services. She did a great job in informing us about the different amenities they had on the property. Seriously, her service alone was what made us feel like we could be a part of the community. She did show us the unit that we could potentially get. It was on the third floor (just what we wanted), had a screened in porch(my husband loved that idea), central air (which was something we were looking for), large bedroom, large bathroom, lots of storage space, and a good sized living area. It may be on the older side for interior fixtures and appliances, but what drew us in was the fact that the community was very friendly and very quiet. It was definitely fate that we walked in there not expecting anything, but found everything we were looking for. We were very pleased with Dena's services and what we observed. We hope to hear good news.

I had to move back in with my mom due to health with my developmental delays. The building that I was in always seemed clean. The caretaker who cleaned stayed on top of the cleaning. The maintenance workers came quickly if something needed fixing like appliances. I am proud to say that the safety features were always being updated and fixed especially after a fire in the building. I have never seen maintenance workers working so hard on trying to have Cedarvale Highlands a safe and good place to rent. I loved how much space there was in a one bedroom and I totally loved the arch ways in the hall and kitchen. When ever something happened the manager Holly was quick to help like the storage locker break ins right next to my unit and how she got a new lock for my storage locker. Cedarvalle Highlands was my very 1st apartment renting by myself. The neighbor down below me told my mom when she was helping me move out that I was very quiet. I loved living there. I had the peace and quiet living there unlike some other apartments. Only if I could go back. The one thing that changed since living there is that they don't take section 8 and that hurts a person who is vulnerable and needing help with housing.

Dear Pebblebrook Management, I stay with my sister at…read morePebblebrook Apartments and we submitted many maintenance work orders. I want to recognize Tron for the excellent job he does. He has consistently been the person I've seen responding to maintenance needs and getting work done. Pebblebrook is a large property, and after spending a good amount of time there, I'm concerned by how much of the work appears to fall on Tron. I have not personally seen the other maintenance staff helping at all in the same way. I've also encountered a maintenance employee I believe is named Matt. In my interactions with him, he came across as rude and difficult to approach, which made it uncomfortable to ask for help. I hope you will recognize Tron's hard work and look into whether the maintenance team has the support and accountability needed to serve the property well. He deserves credit for the care and effort he puts into his job. I rate my experience of the work Tron provided was 5 star excellent. Sincerely,

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE... THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE…read more Lipstick on a pig - don't let the aesthetic of the building fool you. I could say a lot about this place, but if you read nothing else, know this: if safety is important to you, look elsewhere. During our time here, the building became increasingly unsafe. It became normal to find people hanging out in the exits and common areas, openly using drugs and leaving behind drug paraphernalia. There were multiple break-ins while we lived here, yet nothing ever seemed to change. You shouldn't have to walk past people getting high just to get in or out of your apartment. Cops had to be called several times. One time they even started a fire in the doorway. I've attached photos documenting many of these issues so you can judge for yourself. Management wasn't much better. Communication was inconsistent, concerns were brushed aside, and it often felt like management was more interested in looking for reasons to blame residents than actually solving problems. When we received a notice that our lease wasn't being renewed, I asked Julie why. That's when she casually mentioned she thought she had smelled marijuana coming from our apartment. That accusation was completely false. It had never been brought up with us before, there was no warning, and there was no documentation. Then, after we pushed back, the non-renewal was suddenly reversed because she had "failed to document it." It's hard to have confidence in management when something as important as whether you get to keep your home seems to come down to undocumented assumptions. The move-out process was more of the same. We followed their instructions, yet they later tried to rely on issues they had never properly documented before. The communication around our security deposit was also frustrating. After the statutory deadline had effectively passed, we received an email saying they were still waiting on invoices. At the end of the day, I don't expect perfection from an apartment building. I do expect it to be safe, and I expect management to be fair and professional. Unfortunately, Vintage fell short on both. I can't recommend living here. Trust me for what you'll pay you can find something much safer and more professionally managed.

The heated underground parking is amazing and the finishes in the apt are the nicest I've seen. All that and the other people who live here are super friendly. The staff is excellent- Megan is a boss! She truly goes above and beyond. The only negative is the noise. For a building this new, it's surprising that we hear all the footfalls from our upstairs neighbors. The other noise comes from weights being dropped at the gym. That's a little jarring at 6am. If you plan to stay here for a long time, just get up to the 5th floor.

When I first moved in, I had to spend my own time deep cleaning the carpet because the previous resident had a dog and the unit had not been properly cleaned. There was dog hair throughout the apartment, which should have been addressed before a new resident moved in. After three years of paying rent and being a responsible resident, I decided to move to a larger apartment at another complex. I provided a two-month notice, but instead of a smooth transition, the move-out process became unnecessarily difficult. My rent was suddenly increased by $250 per month. The most troubling part was finding out that my rental history was allegedly misrepresented to the property manager at my new apartment, claiming that I paid my rent late every month. I was extremely upset and disappointed by this because I do not believe it accurately reflected my payment history. I immediately addressed the issue by contacting both properties, and I was disappointed by the lack of accountability. After three years of loyalty, I expected professionalism, honesty, and respect. Unfortunately, my final experience with this property left me feeling that residents are not valued once they decide to leave. I hope management takes a closer look at how they handle long-term residents and move-out situations in the future.

Management said at the time that they were unable to show me the specific unit that I would be moving into, but I made the mistake of signing a lease anyway thinking it would look similar to what was shown. The apartment I moved into was filthy when I moved in. The cupboards and the bathtub were the worst. Also, the door and window tracks were dirty as well, but I don't have pictures of those. And when you move out, they give you a move out cleaning list and they want you to clean everything that was already filthy upon move in. Also, the hallways, laundry room, and trash room always smell horrendous. The property does have a dog park, which is a really nice place to take your pet and most of the staff was pretty nice, so those were positives.
