I tried this spot bc it was closer to home than my normal place. While the people are polite, the actual quality was not the best. I had to get 3 coats of the gel polish and it was still a little see through so the polish must be cheap. The services are very expensive, especially considering quality. They don't provide complimentary beverages either. Positives are that the venue is cute and there is plenty of free parking. I won't go back here. read more

I've been going to Luxe every two weeks for over a year. A month ago I found out my regular guy was leaving the location, which sucks, but things happen. Last week I went to get my dip manicure. While the final product was good, it took twice as long as usual. They apparently have new owners, prices are 20% higher and the overall vibe is just no longer good. Also, they added a tip to my credit card total...I never get a printed receipt so I couldn't fight it once I noticed. Majorly bummed. read more

Hadn't gotten my nails done in a while because I hadn't heard of any nail tech who was awesome. I decided to just go for it anyway and Ty from Luxe did not disappoint!! He did an incredible job, checking with me throughout every step to make sure I was happy with them before he kept going. They turned out flawless!! We had such great conversation and he didn't just provide service, but an experience! I will be going back!!! read more

So LUXE NAILS have new owners as of about a week ago, and it SHOWS!!! I just left there earlier, totally in shock by how I was treated. Not by just the new owner, but by the nail tech that was supposed to do my nails, (Annie Nguyen), as well. I called yesterday and made an appointment specially with Angie. It was a man who took my information for the appointment, over the phone. Angie had done my nails the last time I went there, so I wanted to go back to her. She was SUPER dismissive and rude to me today though. It was a total shock. Like I was bothering her by having an appointment. She was working on someone else. I asked her if she even knew she had an appointment with me, and she admitted she didn't even know, real rude like. So I tried to be nice, and said I'd wait. Asked about how long it might be, and she said 45 minutes. WTH? She was completely done with the acrylic and was almost done shaping the nails. She said the lady wanted a design, so I guess she felt like she needed 45 minutes to take her time doing designs. Whatever! My whole thing is.... (and sorry to go all Seinfeld on this but), I don't think they understand the whole concept of an APPOINTMENT!!! SMH. You BOOK the appointment, to then KEEP the appointment. ‍ Then the owner tried explaining her way out of it like I was stupid or something. Saying Angie had started the other lady's nails before my appointment time. I'm sorry, what??? I think I didn't even respond. I must've just started looking at her very oddly, trying to figure out if SHE was that stupid, or if she thought I was. Lady, I'm not going to sit there and explain proper costumer service practices or the simple concept of running a business where you book appointments. Again... SMH! I finally just responded all sad like, (because I actually kinda was), and said, "I've been coming here since this place opened, but I won't be back after today." And that's unfortunate. Does good customer service even exist anymore? And don't get me wrong. I get they might have to work out some kinks with it being new owners, but at least be apologetic and act like you care how I feel. Don't treat ME like I'm stupid or like I did something wrong by making an appointment, then showing up expecting for that appointment to mean something to you as well. Oh well. Guess I'll find a different 0mace to go now. read more

I'm very pleased with the nails Chichi did. However i don't like being charged extra to remove the old dip. There is no way to do a dip without removing the old dip so the $50 charge should cover the entire service. That seems like a fair price. Adding to it just makes people either wait longer to get their nails done or change providers read more

I tried this place several times. I wanted it to work. I had different techs and only once did I feel my nails looked like I wanted. This past visit was awful. I was practically in tears when I left. The tech asked who did my nails last and I said I didn't catch her name. Her reply "Oh you don't even know who did your nails." In a very chastising tone. I moved here from Texas and in the past almost 20 years I've had 4 techs I stay loyal to my tech until I or they move. After she said that to me it just went down hill. I tried telling her I needed my nails cut down and she wasn't listening to me. I told her all the way down and the. Had to fight her on that.. this whole time she was digging her nails into my hands as she proceeded to very roughly do them... I had told her I wanted coffin shaped and she wasn't shaping them like that.. at this point the guy who is at the front desk heard our interactions and came and stood over me and started trying to talk to me. I was so frustrated I was just giving him short answers. Then he just stood there like I was doing something wrong... I felt so awkward, I just wanted to leave... she asked well how do you want them then?? I said thinner at the top and she said ok like this?! And I said yes! She then says "why didn't you just tell me that?" I was like well what's this shape called so I can ask for it properly? She says "it's called coffin!" I almost lost it. I completely shut down. I let her finish and went and paid. I for the first time in my life left with out paying a tip at all. I told them she had horrible customer service and they all just looked at me. I believe her name was Angie.. or something to that degree. I was so upset when I asked them for her name I was barely listening. Now a week later this is what my nails look like! I had to remove 3 because she didn't seal my nails properly and moisture got in and caused bacteria to grow! I've had to go to the doctor to get on medication and I can't have acrylics on for 4-6 months! I have to greet my nails twice a day on top of the meds! Please please do not go to this place! read more

Very cute place and friendly techs! The customer service was great that's why I'm giving a 3, but not happy with my nails. French tip very bulky and uneven. They were kind enough to redo them but even that was just ok. I paid $129 for pedi and nails tip included. Not spending that amount ever again. read more

The nail lady was very rude to me , she did my nails in no way shape or form the way i showed her . The quality of the nails were very poor , and after a week they look horrible . I placed a call twice to Luxe this morning no answer. I was driving and my phone rings. It was Luxe Nails on the phone. The guy was very rude. I believe when I showed up for my appointment today. The guy that greeted finally was rude as well. First time at this place I was pleased with the services I got from both ladies pedicure hot wax was awesome. I really enjoyed it. Once she completed my services she explained I would moving and someone else was doing my fill in. I sat down and a lady came and asked what did I want. I stated what I wanted. She was quiet and did my nails. I did state that I wanted natural looking nails not pointed or squared off she did them semi pointed I told her again. I wanted them rounded. read more

The first time in there I had a good manicure/Dip. Next time horrible and only lasted a few days. They were very rude on top of that! Big waste of time and money. read more

I agree with a previous review about them being too pricey for a small town nail salon. Yes they came out fabulous but no lie for nails and pedicure it came to $180 including tip! I almost choked this isn't Beverly Hills, Ca.... My daughter loved how her nails came out but this is way way way overpriced! read more

Nails are ok way to pricey for the quality. I got a French manicure nails, were short too, and I ending up paying 75 with tip. Prices just don't add up especially for a small town nail place. read more

Walked into the door wearing my mask. Three guys at the front desk and all other employees without masks. I signed in and went to look at the nail color selections on the wall 5 feet away. The guys begin yelling at me that I can't go look at the nail polish until I walk all the way back to the back of the store to wash my hands. They were 'sanitizing' the bottles. OK. I am all for sanitizing and cleanliness, but let's be consistent. Not a single other precaution was being implemented; no hand sanitizer, no masks, no distancing or clear walls between the client and the employee. Just me being yelled at to walk to the back to wash my hands. Gave me real concern for the sanitation of their tools if they have this little knowledge of infection control. Needless to say, I left. read more
