Dahlia was a dream to work with! Our wedding plans had to change for a third time and forced us to move our wedding to our backyard. This required new linens on a two week notice and Luxe Linen delivered! They opened their BH showroom for my mother and I to quickly browse and select the most perfect linens for our end of the year backyard wedding. For my wedding I needed to rent 90 light green napkins for the table settings. My amazing contact at Cafe Santorini referred me to Designer Specialty Linens. I'm so happy that I decided to take their advice because this company was great to work with for my special occasion. I contacted Dahila by e-mail and within a day I was set for my event. I was a bit worried because I didn't think of having colored napkins until a couple weeks before my event, but there was no problem at all in reserving the linens. Dahila was super responsive to emails and phone calls and their customer service was amazing. Seriously every time I messaged them I had a response in an hour or less. I also never felt pressured to order more or to upgrade. I was also able to save the $50 Delivery fee because I was able to drive down to San Pedro a couple days before my weddings and have a friend drop off the napkins after my event. My wedding was on Friday, I picked up the Tuesday before and kept them till the following Tuesday without a problem. My wedding was the first week of September 2020. My venue had a past wedding picture of a reception table that had champagne linen and a sequined overlay. I asked my venue where did that couple order their linens from. They informed me Luxe linen. I called the company and spoke to an employee named David in June 2020. I showed him the picture and asked if they supply that. He CONFIRMED that their store has it. Mind you due to covid their OC store was closed and only their Carson office was opened was was extremely far from us. We placed the order and scheduled pickup 3 days before the wedding. We decided to pick it up cause they charge a lot for delivery. (Thank God we decided to do that) cause when we went to pick it up. The overlay we ordered for all our tables was COMPLETELY incorrect. At that point my fiancé and I were panicking cause it was 3 days before the wedding. David seemed clueless about the order and said they don't have the sequin overlay but the one they scheduled for me to pick up was the "closest they had to the one I picked." I didn't ask for something close. We were so upset that we decided to call their so called "CEO" Dahlia for an explanation. Dahlia was the most unprofessional person We have ever come across in our entire life. When I tried to explain the situation.. she spoke over me and didn't let me talk. Even my fiancé told her "let the customer talk" and yet she was going off on us. She told us they didn't have it and that was the closest. Again I told her why weren't we informed back in June that they didn't have it so I could have found other alternatives. She said she's not responsible for what her employee says. What kind of ceo doesn't take responsibility for their employees and provide satisfaction for a customer. She wouldn't give us a discount for the other items and then she had the audacity to hang up on us. Wow. We decided to cancel our entire order with that useless company and my wedding planner came to the rescue last second and helped us with something much much better than their garbage. Stay away from this place unless you want a lot of stress while planning your wedding!!!!! read more

Linens were dirty and not great customer service!! No one ever called me back. Are they still in business? Phones just ring and ring.

We used Designer Specialty Linens for our wedding reception last night at Michael's Tuscany Room. Michelle was wonderful to work with and she didn't mind, and was always quick to answer, my hundreds of emails. The linens were beautiful and great quality, and the Chiavari chairs that we rented looked amazing next to them. Their prices were very fair and they even gave us a discount since we were having the reception at Michael's. They dropped off and picked up the linens and chairs in a very timely manner. The only small complaint that we had was that we were charged a double drop-off fee for the chairs and linens, even though they were being dropped off at the same time, and there was also a fee to pick them up on the same night as the event, even though it was not our choice to do so. Other than that, we were very very happy with Michelle and everyone else who works at Deisgner Specialty Linens, and i would highly recommend them for any event. read more

They sent me the wrong linens for my wedding! I was so bummed and it really took something away from our special night. I went to the showroom and they provided me a bunch of options. One that was on the hanger, my wedding planner suggested and it just wasn't what I wanted. For some reason, they still put it on the quotes as an accent even though I said I didn't like it. They sent two linens to our floral mock up, one of which was the linen I wanted and chose and another plain one. I had no idea they put the one from the store that I didn't like on my final invoice (because who would even know the random names of the linens - they aren't actually descriptive of the product) and it wouldn't have made sense because they weren't even at my table mock up! My advice would to not even come here, but if you do, make sure you cross reference the names of the linens to what you really want. I was so heartbroken at my wedding when I noticed all my linens weren't what I had spent my time planning and picking out. I was actually really looking forward to the ones I had chosen and I would have rather had plain linens than the ones they gave me and I unfortunately paid a lot of money for. This sounds dramatic but I felt robbed of special moments during my wedding because instead I was realizing the linens were wrong and robbed of all the time I spent finding the right linens with this company. read more

From day one, dealing with Luxe was impossible. They never returned phone calls, and despite multiple attempts to call at different times, they were never available to take my call. Apparently they didn't want to get paid. While the linens for my wedding were beautiful, Luxe blatantly violated our contract after the fact. We had altered our contract to say that if any linens were damaged, we would buy them from the company so that we got to keep them. Instead, Luxe charged me more than $600 for the damaged lines and then got rid of them instead of sending them to me. 100% NOT OKAY! I would never use Luxe again, or recommend them to anyone.
