I called and made an appointment for only two days away. The representative called me the day of the appointment when he was on his way. He arrived, removed the damage wheel and repaired it in my driveway. He painted the entire wheel so it wouldn't look patched. He did an excellent job. I can't find on the wheel where the damage was. Have you ever had one of those moments, on a freezing cold day, running late for work and when you finally rush out the door to start your commute to work...you noticed your tire is flat or has lost most of its air!? If so, you know my pain. Go figure, the joys of having a high-end sports ride and low profile tires!! The winter season can be ruff on low-profile tires or any car with a set of rims on them. I had an issue with one stubborn tire where I kept losing air in the tire due to a damaged rim and the crazy temperature changes lately here in DC. I had two separate auto shops try to repair the issue...with no success until I stumbled on Sharper Image ARS. What a great find?! These guys came recommended to me right on time by Mac's Tire (another life saver) in DC. Mac's does not repair rims, hence why I needed a specialty tire/rim repair shop like Sharper Image ARS. These guys know their stuff. I called and made an appointment for the same day. The Manager, Shawn Gray, was able to easily assess the issue, repair/resurface the rim almost to a new one, and seal the tire on the rim correctly. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed. My wheel was restored back to the original performance and I was really pleased with his work. No more having the need to fill my tire with air every couple of days...sometimes 2-3 times a week due to this issue. It's been two weeks of freezing cold weather and I haven't had another air leak or issue with the tire/rim since going to Sharper Image ARS. Just in time for the snow and blizzard this weekend! 5 Stars easily!! I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you are having tire/rim issues. Services also include car detailing, tire/rim sales, minor mechanic and bodywork services too. They are very professional and run a good, honest shop. ONE SIDE NOTE....I see some folks complaining about the business location. Do not be discouraged by the location or the looks of the establishment. They are legit and are currently renovating while operating their business.

So here we go: as it relates to Nationwide Dent Repair, I'm seeking reparations for the "dent" that was inflicted on my bank account by NDR. I scheduled an appointment to have minor hood damage repaired on my vehicle. After reviewing the damage (small scratches, chips, and a small, shallow dent) with the female associate, she assured me the repairs could be completed without issue. My primary concern was the scratches (see photos). She up-sold me on a full hood repair for $400, and I provided the factory touch-up paint before taking an Uber home. When I picked up the vehicle, the first thing I noticed was how dusty the car appeared. Upon further inspection, the dust was the least of my concerns. Not only did they fail to address my primary concern (the scratches), but they also didn't complete any of the additional work I was charged for. It was a complete waste of time, money, and effort. My first mistake was not thoroughly researching the company beforehand. Now I see they're comfortably swimming in the 1-star Yelp pool. I've written too much for a service provider that cares too little. Recommendation level: Hell NO!

I had a very disappointing experience with Nationwide Dent Repair. I was quoted $500-$600 to repair…read morea dent and buff scratches on my hood. After we agreed on the price and scheduled the appointment, I dropped my truck off at 9:00 AM. The technician didn't even begin looking at the vehicle until after 12:00 PM. While the work was being done, I received a call saying they needed an additional $125 to buff the scratches -- even though polishing the scratches was already included in the original estimate. After speaking with the owner (Danny), I was told their estimator "made a mistake" and that they had fixed a second dent "for free." He refused to honor the agreed price and even implied he could put the dent back in if I wasn't satisfied with the new charge. To make matters worse, he claimed the scratches were never included in the original agreement and essentially accused me of lying. There is surveillance footage outside the building where we discussed the repair and pricing, but when I asked him to review it, he hesitated and said he couldn't go back and check. Changing the agreed price after the customer commits to the work is unacceptable. Professional businesses stand by their estimates. This experience felt unprofessional and dishonest, and I would not recommend using them.
