I cannot review daycare other than what I've seen (in off hours) as Remy isn't a fit for daycare anymore (too much for him) . I don't want the same negative experience to happen to someone else or have someone's pet left in the hands of this unstable person. I have also provided text messages to show how badly Ace treated me. I was shocked at how he spoke to me in person and in text. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before and it is evident that Ace is not to be trusted with pets in his care alone. He even lies with his responses to negative reviews saying that they have the wrong company and told me if I left a review it would be deleted. I called Ace on the phone and he asked that I send him a text to book the appointment. I sent a picture of how I wanted my dog to look and he accepted, provided the cost then asked for a deposit to hold the appointment which would then be deducted from the total cost. Today was the appointment and I resent her the same picture I sent in the beginning. He then says "this type of dog your not suppose to.cut thier hair , it will get dence and hard, and spongy." (copied and pasted text)." This already shows that he didn't have the intention of cutting her hair to begin with. I met him and he immediately says how my dog's hair wasn't even long even though it has been almost 3 months since her last grooming and told me I shouldn't be cutting her hair because it will grow very badly. I told him she's been getting her hair cut for last 11 years with no issues and that she has silky hair because she is half long-hair Chihuahua. I asked him to please follow the picture and recommended that used the shaving method and asked if he could give me examples of the different lengths because that's what I've seen before at Petsmart where they have a chart. He then said "Ok, shave to the skin?" I said no, there are different blades for various lengths and said to take refer to the picture to estimate the length. I don't know why I was the one explaining this to him when he is supposed to be the professional. I even asked in the beginning through text if he could follow the picture and he agreed. Also, all groomers that I have been to the past ask for a picture of how I want my dog groomed and they follow that. He was very argumentative and said it would be hard to tell how long it could be and had no examples to show me and the shaving option would be to the skin. At that point I felt very offended/frustrated because he was arguing with me nonstop and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my pet with him because of his volatile attitude. He kept giving reasons to why I shouldn't cut her hair and said he will shave to the skin. It was obvious that he didn't want to cut her hair and wanted to just keep the deposit. I asked to cancel this appointment because I wasn't comfortable with leaving my dog with him. I told him my dog is like my daughter and I would only leave her with someone I could feel that I trusted. I told him that he is the one giving reasons for why I shouldn't cut my dog's hair plus wasn't giving me options for the length and that he made me very uncomfortable so he was forcing me to cancel. He said he would send the refund to my email but I never received it. Ace had already seen a picture of her in the very beginning but decided to tell me after I paid the deposit and the day of the appointment that I shouldn't be cutting her hair. He is very manipulative, is only in it for the money and doesn't care about the pets or the owners. After I told him I would submit a review he mocked me saying that my review will be deleted, that I was stuck in my teenage years (I'm 34 yrs old) and that I had a sloppy attitude and not to treat him like his BF. This was truly the worst and most appalling experience I have ever had with anyone. I caution everyone to please not leave their pets with him. His volatile behavior which shows a lot about how he would treat your pet in private.

They have moved to their garage in Port Coquitlam. When I arrived, I was hit with the smell of urine. I was so disappointed to see the setup that I almost left. However, after my initial instinct, I asked them not to trim my Shih Tzu's tail. I am so glad I did. They were very quick, less than 2 hours; however, my dog's face was 1/2" or more longer on one side than the other. I was in a hurry to pay and get out of there that I didn't notice until I got home. I have had her groomed at another place since then and she now looks great.

She showed me the best way to hold onto him during the groom and offered words of encouragement and reassurance to both me and Chewy throughout the service.
