What really keeps me coming back, though, is the environment she's created. Every time I step into her studio, I feel safe, beautiful, taken care of, and honestly just like a special girl. It's giving self-care, it's giving main character, it's giving "yes, I absolutely needed this appointment." One of my favorite things about G is that over the years, we've really figured out my perfect brow together. We've gone thinner, thicker, more arched, softer. We have PLAYED. And I love that she's always included me in the process. There was treats and other refreshments in the waiting area. Which i loved because im a seltzer-holic. Lol. Chair time! Nerves where everywhere but to my rescue came Giselle with as much answers to my probably annoying questions. We mapped out what shape best fits my current frame and what style i wanted. She was very realistic and transparent about the process which made me lean more into the advisement. Preparation started with numbing cream. Glad it was applied im sure it wouldve been a bit painful. Loved the final product. Went back after several weeks for the touch up. Its been a year and im still in love. I got a classic lash extension set through Groupon. The product itself was fine - I enjoy my…read morelashes. However, the service was really frustrating. I went to the shop 15 min before my appointment, and the technician had no record of my appointment. I then waited an hour total for the matter to get sorted, and the technician could not take me on that day. I was in a rush because I was coming out of a hectic time at work and wanted these done for an event, so wasting an hour wasn't easy to do. The technician had me contact the owner of the shop on my own because there was no record of my appointment -- turns out she hadn't written my time down. Unfortunately this was not surprising as she had seemed a little absent-minded on text. While the owner offered a refund, she wasn't able to offer that as it was purchased through Groupon. It was the cherry on top to my frustration to have her offer a solution that wouldn't work and I had to do my own research to come to that conclusion. I ended up getting the appointment so I wouldn't be wasting my money, but if I had other options I would've asked for refunds or discounts. The owner did apologize, but it took way too long and shouldn't have happened in the first place. The technician was sweet though and offered an alternate service, but it made no sense to spend an additional $40.

The technician didn't put any sort of protective eye shields underneath my eyes or follow any real procedure for the removal. It just felt like she applied solution and was even yanking the more stubborn ones out with my own lash. I've gotten lash extensions removed on several occasions, and this is the one time where it burned like crazy. I always keep my eyes closed and know to do so; but the technician was literally lifting my eyelid up as she was removing my lashes and getting solution or shampoo in. She said that extension removal is always painful and burns, which is literally not true at all. I've always had generally easy and pain free experiences with the whole process. Would not trust this place with lash application after all that in the slightest.

I did research and really liked the idea of microblading (permanentish, looks real). In fact, it was very important for me to have real looking brows that match the hair (dark blond). Head upstairs and use the super nice individual bathrooms down the hall if you need. Very clean. Their space is bright and airy with multiple technicians and tables. They obviously have a system and run efficiently. I've always had problems with getting a dramatic lift but Sharon O had no problem. She assessed my lash type and eye shape and told me that it's just a matter of where she placed the rod. My lashes turned out super lifted and lovely. She had a timer for each solution and it was all very matter of fact and systematic - perfect. For first time clients they discount the lash lift from 90 to 80 and give a castor oil lash solution. They said keep lashes dry for 4 hours (one day is for old solutions I guess) and no mascara for one day. You can pay with the card you used to book the appointment. They prefer tip in cash but will also accommodate putting on card. Overall this place was great and if I lived here I would be a regular.
