Just so you know, you are taken into a room with NO MIRRORS and asked to remove all clothing (as much as you are comfortable with) then the owner came in. She saw that I was completely naked, and when she started spraying, she didn't mention of two bright red patches I wear occasionally for pain that was on my backside and hip. It can be easily overlooked as it's not able to be felt. Initially I was very excited about the spray tan, then when I went home and changed clothes, my husband noticed the patches on my hip and backside and said," Honey, did you know you had two pain patches on?" I freaked out and looked in the mirror. I removed the patches and it left two white patches that I was unable to cover up with a swimsuit. I knew it would be very noticeable on stage and I didn't want points deducted by the judges because of this overlook. I had no other choice but to wash off the tan so that there wasn't a visible white patch to everyone in audience that weekend. I was very heartbroken as I spent approximately $100 on this service. What turned this into an even more poor experience, is when I tried to reach out to the studio and had no way to call or contact them except through Facebook. I was told by friends that have used her service to reach out the owner for the unsatisfactory service I received because "Christine prides herself in doing a good job", well, I don't know if it was her that replied back, but I specifically asked for a refund on just the spray tan, not any of the additional services I added on. Of course, she refused stating I knew about my pain patches when that was NOT true. I told her I forgot I had them on, PLUS I was in a room with NO MIRROR so how was I suppose to look over my body prior to getting sprayed?! It's common courtesy, I know for a FACT I would have told someone if I was offering a pricey service that I based my business on. I wish I didn't have to write this review, but the consumer public needs to know. If doing the morally right thing isn't a priority to keep clients vs making money, then I'll take my business elsewhere and share with others to do the same.

Let me preface my review with this: I am very picky with who cuts my hair. I have trust issues…read more Jaclyn is fantastic not only at curbing anxieties, but at cutting hair. My hair used to go down to the small of my back and I wanted to chop it to collar bone length, I was terrified! I had been growing my hair out for years, but I was looking for a change. Jaclyn gave me her advice and opinion based on the shape of my face and did a wonderful job cutting it with the layering style I like. A little later, I went back. I wanted to chop it again, this time to the length of my chin. Coming in riddled with anxieties, Jaclyn helped calm me and decide the logistics of the cut. She even remembered me! Similar to the first time I visited, I loved my hair coming out. Jaclyn not only cares about her clients, but is extremely talented. I will only be seeing her for my haircutting needs in the future!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of this Ulta location. I've been here multiple times, and it always seems…read morelike they're low on inventory, which I understand can happen because the store is busy, but it's literally every time I go. My most recent experience was especially frustrating. I went in during the sale, and an item that was clearly displayed on the 50% off sale shelf did not ring up at the sale price. I explained to the employee that it was on the sale shelf and clearly labeled, but instead of checking the display, asking a manager, or even looking into it, she simply kept telling me that it wasn't part of the promotion. I was honestly shocked because if an item is clearly placed in a sale section and labeled as 50% off, I would expect someone to at least verify the situation rather than dismissing me. I didn't want to argue or cause a scene, especially because the store was packed, so I just left. The funny part? I got in my car, opened the Ulta app, and ordered THE SAME PRODUCT for 50% off for store pickup at that exact same location. I had already checked the promotion before going into the store, and the product was clearly marked in-store as part of the sale. It's not even about the money at this point. It's the lack of effort and customer service. Mistakes happen, but when a customer is telling you something is clearly marked on the sale shelf, the least you can do is check or get a manager instead of immediately dismissing them. Unfortunately, experiences like this make me want to shop at other Ulta locations or just order online.
