I had to explain myself again about what I wanted done and then they proceeded to talk amongst themselves about a bunch of other things they had to do, while I stood there holding my cat. Then they shaved his belly and brushed him which took about 12 minutes and they charged me $78. I believe that was completely unprofessional and overpriced for the service they did. Our appointment was originally set for 10am but the groomer needed to move it to 11. They said it would only take an hour to groom my cat, so I agreed. I needed to be on base by 1, so 11 would be cutting it close but it was doable. I showed up at 11 but the groomer did not. Person at the front desk said the groomer should be there by 11:30 and that it would take about 2.5 hours to take care of my cat. This was a very different time estimate from the original 1 hour I was quoted on the phone. I asked if we switched to just washing and brushing my cat if that would cut the time down but they only said maybe. I decided it wouldn't be worth it to wait around for this groomer to show up. A little bit of lateness is annoying but manageable, but two wildly different time estimates is not something I can navigate. Plus, I didn't want to risk the groomer trying to rush and potentially hurting or traumatizing my cat. Ultimately, I drove my cat 40 minutes there and 40 back just to wash her myself at home. Update: Groomer is using all caps and "big mad" vibes to try and berate me in the comments section of my review. They are mad that I didn't wait for them to show up late to our appointment. Groomer told me 11am, which was an hour later than our initial agreed-upon time. So I showed up at 11, on time, but the groomer did not. The front desk could not give me a clear time as to when the groomer would arrive and I had other things to take care of that day. So, yes, I left. This groomer is mad I left a poor review relating the details of my experience with their business. This groomer seems to show a pattern of berating customers in the comments section of their reviews -- check the other 1-stars, it's not just mine! Avoid this angry person. After their angry response (see picture attached) I'm super glad I didn't leave my cat alone with this person.

Also, her grooming was the best yet. It was perfect. They got so much of her undercoat off, and her hair looks so much shinier now. They took a lot of time, brushing her out and used a conditioner that has probiotics and gave her a good shine. She also took the time to recommend some different brush options that might help us care for her in between grooming. Highly recommend!
