Recently, I snuck in just a few minutes before they were ready to close, and still got great service, with a top notch fast wash for our car. It's a darker color, so shows dust and road grit pretty readily. It was the evening before Easter and we were going to family dinner the next day, so I wanted to have a clean ride. Mission accomplished! I felt better driving home being able to see clearly out of the windshield and seeing the sparkling finish for the car made me smile. We have the monthly subscription and use it regularly. Our area gets the inland version of marine layer sometimes, and that causes dust to cling to the car's finish. LUV Car Wash is a great way to wash it away. read more

I used to really like this place, but it's just not what it used to be. The changes they've made have actually made the experience worse, and their customer service is what finally pushed me to leave this review. First off, they removed the overhead mirror that helped guide cars onto the track. That may not seem like much, but it made pulling in easier and safer. Without it, it feels less user-friendly. The vacuums are another disappointment -- weak suction that barely cleans, and the air-blow tool is mounted so high up that it's frustrating (and almost impossible) for many people to reach or put back properly. The staff also don't seem happy to be there, which makes the whole experience unwelcoming. In particular, the attendant who directs cars onto the track always looks upset and disengaged. A smile or even a professional attitude would go a long way. But the real deal-breaker is their billing and customer service. I followed their rules and texted to cancel my membership several days before renewal, yet I was still charged $26. When I reached out, they claimed they never received my first cancellation message and refused to issue a refund. Instead of making it right, they gave me the runaround and basically expected me to pay for another month I didn't want. I did my part, but they didn't hold up theirs. At the end of the day, it's not just about the car wash it's about how a business treats its customers. Luv Car Wash clearly cares more about squeezing out an extra payment than providing good service. I shouldn't have to dispute a charge with my credit card to resolve something they could have easily handled. Bottom line: between the poor equipment, unwelcoming staff, and shady billing practices, I can't recommend this place anymore. read more

Great quick & convenient car wash! There's two lanes- one has touch screen to pick which wash you'd like and the other lane you can speak to a person. They are really friendly there! The car wash is drive through and has vacuums/dry cloths to use after you go through. read more

First off, the person in charge of guiding cars into the wash has zero personality. No smile, no greeting--just a blank stare and a wave. It's the first interaction you have here and sets the tone, and unfortunately, it's not a good one. The pricing structure is another issue. What used to be a fair $9.99/month basic plan is now a steep $22.99/month. Sure, there's a trial deal--two months at $9.99--but then you're automatically bumped up. It feels sneaky and not very customer-friendly. What bothers me most is the major cut in staff. They've clearly reduced the number of employees, and it shows. The previous crew gave the place energy and life--you felt taken care of. Now? Two or three people trying to run the whole place, and it feels empty, cold, and kind of sad. The human touch is gone. I miss the old version of this place. Clean cars are great, but service and atmosphere matter too--and Luv's seems to have the touch. read more

Finding a decent car wash is really hard these days. We were in Simi Valley and saw this place, LUV Car Wash looked really nice. My car is usually dirty so way not try it. We did and loved it. Everyone was so nice. The place was clean and the prices were super fair. We loved our wash and little wax, it was great. The employees were so nice. I will go out of my way to come back. read more

The price has increased by about 20% and you get less for your money for sure. The wash itself won't remove bird droppings or hard dirt. You'll find yourself doing manual labor after the wash. The vacuums are awful as well. No suction. I would pay the extra and go somewhere that is hand dried after the wash. read more

Extremely disappointed with this car wash. After having purchased the lowest tier membership, I realized that no matter how clean or dirty my car was when taking it into the wash, it never came out fully clean. I do not feel that for $22.99 a month there is good value in even the lowest tier membership. I decided to cancel it because of this. A few months later, I decided to give it another chance and they were running a promo. Online, it does not state that you have to be a new member in order to pay the promotional price listed. So I decided to opt for the second lowest year membership, for the advertised price of $9.99. My card was then charged $30. I was extremely upset and immediately demanded a refund based on unclear pricing details, and unclear promotional details. I was awarded a refund based on those terms. It felt slightly predatory to me and seemed as if it was confusing on purpose. Something I thought about was there is a reason why the towels offered to patrons in the vacuum section are black. It is so that you cannot see the dirt that is left upon the car after your wash. Why not leave the yellow rags that you can get at any store out? Just thought I'd add that in there as a theory lol. I needed a car wash ASAP because I had so much bird crap on my car from parking under a tree. I found this place on Yelp and based on the prices, I was all for the simple $8 wash with the free vacuum at the end. The location is off the intersection of Madera and LA Ave/Tierra Rejada Rd. The whole business is really small and there's two lanes to enter the car wash. The awkward part is coming out finished from the wash where you have to stop to make sure no one is exiting the business like a T intersection with a traffic light and turning left into the vacuum section. It's so tight and narrow and it's only one way to enter the vacuum side. There's large trash bins and separate vacuum hoses for each parking spot. It's good for the value but it feels so compact and snug here I can't breathe lol read more

I've been a customer for years, with an autorenewal membership for at least 18 months. I love these carwashes. I usually visit the Simi location off Madera. I love all the new signs, fresh coats of paint, and new colors. It looks amazing. I wouldn't say I like that you guys removed the mirror at the entrance to the carwash. That was very helpful to make sure the car was in the right place when entering the tunnel and avoiding scratching the wheels. They guy you have working here directing cars into your wash is extremely rude and confrontational. I pull up & he isn't even at the entrance & has left the entrance to wash unattended, just letting people drive in on their own & figure it out by themselves... the sign clearly says "Wait for an attendent", so I sit there waiting for a couple mins, he never comes outside. So then finally I gently honk twice, to see if anyone is here or not? The employee comes out with his arms/hands out to the side & saying "What?! What do you want?!" I reply, "What do you mean what do I want, see the sign saying to wait for attendant? He then proceeds to Bark orders & tells me to come forward. Then backup, then come forward, then he goes to help another car & leaves me sitting there again waiting.... finally, he comes back & let's me go into the wash, not ensuring that my truck even made contact with the roller or not.... This guy should not work here. EDIT: I've recently read reviews that this location (Madera) also has charged $12-$16 for the same $8 car wash. I've posted two pictures and edited out the names. This is pretty urgent for LUV as a business and should take care of it soon whether it's the machines or not knowing about specific services. You can't justify stealing $4-8 from people who expect a certain service and get a cheaper service instead. This is definitely something that should be addressed immediately. Not good business practice. Super confused by the pricing and services provided by each tier. There is no pricing available on the website other than membership pricing. At my location, there was a tier for $8, $12 and $16. I'll add one screenshot to this review that somewhat explains the tiers of their membership on their website (although the pricing is way off in comparison to the location). I ended up going with a $12 car wash under the impression if I did the second tier rather than the $8, there is wheel cleaner and other add ons. Once I got out to vacuum, I saw the tires were not cleaned at all and ended up finishing the job at my house. I went to the office to ask if it was correct and they told me the $16 "All The Luv" wash doesn't include the wheel cleaner. They also told me there is an option to add on Tire cleaning for $2 "at the end" (at the end of what?). If this is the case, I'll go back and make sure to choose the add on for tires or the $16 wash. If there is someone who can provide the ACTUAL pricing for this location along with how I can get my wheels cleaned next time I'd appreciate it. read more

I had an amazing experience at LUV car wash on Madera today. I was out running errands & decided to get the car washed before going home. I pulled into LUV-it was busy and cars pulled in behind me- I offered up my debit card to pay and the card was declined! I was so embarrassed but didn't know why it was declined. So I gave the attendant a different card. Again, declined. Holy cow! I knew I had enough $$ for a car wash but no way to pay. I had just used the card at a gas station with no problem. Realizing my embarrassment and plight, the attendant let me thru for a free car wash! I didn't ask for it and certainly didn't expect it. I was literally stuck with declined cards and no cash either. During some of my many visit's the employees really don't pay attention,especially when there's a line of car's. No urgency on their part. They should always pay attention to the vehicles coming in and out of this location,or if a customer needs assistance at the do it yourself kiosk. There should always be an employee here and to direct the cars into your drive lane. Very important. Pay attention. This car wash is exterior only,it's a do it yourself with your interior and or cleaning your rims and tires. 80% of your exterior gets cleaned. I wasn't happy. I had to go though it again. The drive-thru does not clean your rims, or tires. The end of the drive-thru,there are 2 employees who do a little drying of your Vehicle and them it's really not the best. CALIFORNIA SPEED WASH ON MADERA (not on First Street) They used to open up earlier... But they change their hours which throws off my schedule. For some reason it's posted at 7:30am, but found it did not open until 8am a few times. So I'm confused about that. They usually have two bays open... But now it seems every time I come they only have one they open and there's always a line. I'm really bummed about this because in the beginning I really liked the hours and the speed. But now that only one bay is open... It is no longer a "speed" wash. I have the monthly subscription... But now I think I'm going to have to revoke it as I'm not getting my moneys worth. When the lines are extremely long queuing up to the intersection I spend so much time waiting to get in - or I run out of time and I leave hoping I can get in on another day. I also get uncomfortable with the car sitting so close to the intersection as the line backs up (due to only one bay open) as somebody could make a right turn right into the back of my vehicle. If They would open the second bay...This would fix many problems. read more
