We started at LuvBugs in 2020 when my oldest was 1 and sent our 2nd when he was 6 months. Both of my boys have been with Aubrye for years and I am so grateful to have found her. As full-time working parents, finding a place that was small and felt like home was important to us. Everyday Aubrye and her team cook homemade meals for breakfast and lunch and the children sit together to eat. It might sound simple, but it is so impactful in creating a sense of community and mindfulness around mealtime that kickstarts good habits, even at a very young age! From the Pinterest worthy activities, arts + crafts, caring for chickens, playing in the sprinklers, making cookies and planting a garden, It's the kind of environment I would have for them if they were home with me those 5 days a week. As they grew, she utilized her child development degree for lessons plans and learning centered around play. When my kids all of a sudden started counting and singing their ABC's, we knew who to give credit. With toddlers, the years and milestones fly by. Aubrye and her team have been there nurturing, supporting and celebrating all of it. From introducing a new baby to our toddler, to potty training, to sleep teaching and weaning from a pacifier, having a daycare that partners with us in the big moments has been a huge relief for our family. Not only do my boys love Miss Aubrye and all of her helpers/teachers, we know that she loves and celebrates who they are as tiny growing people and we are so grateful for her partnership over the years. As our oldest gets ready to start his new big kid school and say goodbye to Miss Aubrye, my eyes tear up with gratitude for the love and support she has given him and to us.

If you looking for childcare look no further My wife and I highly recommend Luv bugs daycare. The staff are young and professional. They provide excellent childcare. My wife feels very safe knowing our daughter is in good hands. Their home is very clean, the ratio to kids to staff is awesome. Everyone gets attention. Aubrey provides learning fundamentals to help our daughter grow. She makes learning fun. We trust Aubrey with our daughter. Our daughter loves luv bugs. We are extremely happy we found luv bugs.

I never stated anything about whether your facility was is compliance with state licensing regulations, which are the bare minimum requirments for all licensed child care facilities and nothing to be bragging about. You say things like that your policies are "clearly communicated," with no such explanation of what you mean, when I provided factual details and pages of "critical context." You have now accussed me of "repeated concerns regarding hostile communication and ongoing disruptive interactions with staff." For the prospective families reading this, I implore you, Ms. Peggy, to define what your definitions of "hostile communication" and "ongoing disruptive interactions" and "combative" are. I also give you permission to state what dates and claims about me you are even referring to, but make sure to to include "critical context" without being "inaccurate" or "misleading" when doing so. Parents need to be aware that you were never around during the incidents I described, so you have no basis for knowing whether anything I described was inaccurate. I asked a lot of questions that your staff didn't like and 1st I was called "rude" for it and now that I documented my experiences, you are trying to label me "hostile." Shame on you. This is basic mean girl bullying and the wrong way to respond to a review because it is not 5 stars.

His speech has improved, his vocabulary has expanded, and his knowledge of basic fundamentals amazes me EVERYDAY. He comes home each day with very positive things to tell me about his day, which means the world to me and speaks volumes about how he loves his school. The teachers at this school treat my son as if he is their own. They are consistent with the same discipline and love that he receives at home, per my request. They keep me updated about how he is doing also. They respect each parents' parenting style and implement it in that child's day while at school. There is a feeling of warmth and community between the teachers and the families. I am also very impressed with the curriculum. They are learning everything from Spanish and Chinese to personal hygiene. The Montessori approach is awesome and I would not trade it for any other learning environment. If you want to be a part of a family that not only welcomes everyone, but also ensures a fun and realistic approach to learning COME HERE! They focus on the WHOLE CHILD, hence the name :)

After I did the tour wd Ms. Amanda, we were all in. My daughter loves Ms. Rajani, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Elma and she still talks about them even though she's attending TK now at a public school. My daughter not only learnt her letters and numbers but also how to be kind and respectful, how to help around the house as well as a little Spanish and Mandarin. We have built life long friendships with other parents(and teachers) and I can't wait to send my twin girls as soon as they are old enough to join the school.

The program is thoughtfully organized with a great mix of free exploration and structured activities, all designed with toddlers' development in mind. Each week had new, well-curated stations and age-appropriate toys that kept things engaging and fun. Our son especially loved the music portion, including a session with a guitarist singing songs with the children. Angela, the program director, and her team were incredibly welcoming, warm, and communicative throughout the program. They did a wonderful job making the space feel inviting and safe for both toddlers and their caregivers, whether parents, grandparents, or nannies. That was especially meaningful for little ones who may not have had prior school experience yet. The staff was fantastic with the children and clearly cared deeply about creating a nurturing environment. You can really see the love and thought they put into everything, from the classroom setup to the outdoor play areas. Overall, Toddler and Me was a great value and wonderful exposure for our son. I would highly recommend it to any parent or caregiver looking for a warm, enriching program for their toddler.

My son has made wonderful friendships with children who have grown right alongside him, and it has been amazing to watch. The teachers put so much heart, dedication, and genuine care into what they do every day, and it shows. A special thank you to Miss Jonnay! She has been an incredible teacher to my son, and I am so grateful for the care and attention she gives him. She keeps me updated, celebrates his successes, and truly understands him. Over the last couple of months, I've seen such a big change in him, he's grown in confidence, understanding, and independence. It means so much to have someone who spends her days with him, notices these milestones, and genuinely cares about his development. The support she provides feels like having a second mother in his corner. Miss Tressa has created such a special place for children to learn, explore, and experience their first years of education. This school is truly a hidden gem, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found it and to be part of this community. If you're considering this school, I encourage you to visit and meet the staff. You'll quickly see how passionate, caring, and dedicated they are. We couldn't be more grateful for the love and support our family has received here.

Editing to recognize certain teachers:…read more I have gone back and forth for over a year about writing this review. Parents deserve to know what we experienced before trusting this school with their children. Our experience started off well. Like every daycare, there were minor issues here and there, and we gave the school grace because no childcare center is perfect. The problem wasn't that mistakes happened. The problem was that the mistakes kept getting more serious, and every concern was met with excuses, denial, or an attempt to make us feel like we were overreacting. Looking back, I wish I had trusted my instincts and left much sooner. One of our first major concerns happened in the infant room. My daughter came home with bleach stains all over her pants. The teacher admitted they had sprayed bleach on her high chair, forgot to wipe it down, and then placed my infant in it. That should never happen. Then came something even more alarming. I picked up my infant one afternoon, and she screamed hysterically from hunger the entire drive home. I checked Brightwheel because I assumed someone had simply forgotten to log her bottles. Instead, I discovered there were no bottle entries because they had not fed her formula all day. Not a missed log..a missed feeding. As a parent, that is terrifying. Then there were the coyote issues. Coyotes were coming right up to the school fence and parents even photographed a coyote standing right outside the children's fence (see attached). Tressa's response? Cayenne pepper around the perimeter. It took months of parents pushing before only one small section of fencing was raised. To this day, much of the fence remains low. Another issue involved mold. The children's play couch had mold covering the bottom. Rather than simply acknowledging the problem and informing parents of mold exposure, the initial response was that it "might be black paint." Parents know what mold looks like. Cleanliness was another ongoing concern. My children routinely came home with dried food on their faces, dirty hands, and crusted noses. This wasn't dirt from outdoor play. They simply weren't being cleaned throughout the day. My children were constantly sick while attending this school. The final straw was something I still cannot believe happened. My daughter came home wearing the exact same diaper I put on her that morning. It was soaked, sagging, cold, and hanging to her knees. I immediately contacted Tressa. Rather than investigating what happened, her first response was that another child also wore Coterie diapers and the teachers must have accidentally used someone else's diaper. That explanation fell apart almost immediately. Coterie prints a unique quality-control code on every diaper in a package. The diaper my daughter came home wearing had the exact same code as the open package sitting in my house. It was the diaper I put on her that morning. Only after I sent photographs proving it did the apologies begin. That was the day I reported the school to Community Care Licensing. Despite all of this, I want to recognize the people who made our experience better. Ms. Chandler, Ms. Jonnay, Ms. Jenn, and Ms. Debbie are wonderful educators who genuinely love children, and my daughters adored them. I also want to acknowledge that my daughters loved Ms. Tressa as well. My criticism is not about whether Tressa cares about children. I believe she does. My criticism is about leadership. Running a preschool requires more than caring about kids. It requires accountability, transparency, and the ability to admit when something went wrong and fix it. Instead, I consistently felt dismissed. Concerns were minimized. Excuses came before accountability. I was repeatedly made to feel like I was simply a difficult parent for raising legitimate health and safety concerns. An experienced director once worked at the school and made noticeable improvements because she accepted responsibility and addressed problems head-on. I truly believe the school would benefit tremendously from hiring an experienced director and allowing that person to manage the day-to-day operations. Tressa, if you're reading this, this review isn't being written because mistakes happened. Every school makes mistakes. This review exists because of how those mistakes were handled. Your response to concerns was almost always to deny, minimize, or explain them away instead of simply acknowledging them and making meaningful changes. My daughters are thriving at their new school. Every teacher they've had at ANY school has described them as kind, respectful, and a joy to have in class. They weren't the problem. I wasn't the problem. Parents raising concerns about children's health and safety are not the problem. I sincerely hope this school improves because the children deserve it. But until accountability becomes a priority, I cannot recommend that families entrust their children to this daycare.

The absolute best experience for our 2 year old. Our daughter is thriving and comes home so happy…read moreevery day. Jenn and Anne are excellent communicators, which is lovely as a parent. But even more importantly, they are immensely patient, joyful, and kind with the children. I love their daily updates, how much time they spend outside, and the adorable community of little explorers they are growing. My daughter moved to Nature's Explorers after being at a larger childcare center in TO and I have noticed major, positive improvements to her mood, patience, and social skills. I attribute that fully to Nature's Explorers and feel so confident that this is the best place for our gal.

They also do a good job in taking pictures and sending activity updates. Cons: My situation could be circumstantial, however, our child enrolled here at the 12 month mark through 18 months. My child enrolled as the youngest child in the group, and eventually was one of 2 infants in a program of 9. Approximately 2 months in, we were informed our child developed biting habits (never exhibited at home). We were told this was triggered over the competitiveness of toys and that a next step would be a parent/teacher conference (if warranted) to develop an action plan if the situation got worse. We checked in periodically to track progress and were provided positive/optimistic feedback in that our child was improving (with updates over random biting). To our surprise (without holding the parent/teacher conference), our child was given an immediate 2-week notice to leave and was told that our child had "no hope" and was "frustrated and ready to go off at anytime". This came to us as a shock as we were told "your child is getting better," and next thing we know, our child is kicked out. As many parents may know, finding day care in a 2 week snap of a finger is just about impossible and forces parents in a scatter... as Nature's Explorer's really should know, there are LOOONG daunting wait lists for daycares. Advice to Management: If a next step is a parent/teacher conference, as detailed in your policy/handbook, do follow through and have that Be honest and transparent and inform parents of the real progress of what is happening, false hope with providing limited facts doesn't help Combined with transparency, give a heads up to parents if something like this is coming, give parents the proper ettiquette. You may feel 2 weeks is sufficient, but there are LOOONG daunting wait lists for child daycare Discuss through preventive/corrective plans taken as some parents may not agree with the approach taken
